This is the most beautiful and nostalgic Bissell vacuum that I’ve ever seen, I love how beautiful it sounds and leaves satisfying carpet lines. I’ve never seen a NOS Bissell before, very nostalgic I would love to have one but I have no luck finding it especially on Amazon
I really love that bissell lift off upright vacuum cleaner from 1998 is the bagged version to a 12 amp motor on the Bissell lift off that is one of my favorite machines because they’re made in the USA. They’re powerful. They hold up for a very long time. It’s really good on carpet and those machines will suck right out of the carpet it will it will groom your carpet, I really love those machines it never gets old for me at all.
Nice unboxing video. I also brought mine from the same seller. The guy was extremely nice to give me free Hoover parts since I brought extra parts for the lift off. He told me that he brought all of Bissell’s inventory back in 2003, so he has a lot of parts for these. I’ve never seen a bag door latch being separated on a new vacuum. This machine in my opinion is a beast. Bissell got it right with this bagged lift off. The later bagless model was garbage. The fact that Bissell made a hepa bag back in 1998 was advanced. The pure air machines also had a cloth bag believe it or not. I have no idea why Bissell didn’t put the brush roll shut off feature on this later model. I wouldn’t recommend selling this machine since they weren’t made for too long. A lot of people who sell used vacuums will sell them in a garbage condition, and yet list it for a crazy price.

Those are one of my favorite vacuums the whole times they should bring back the lift off bagged upright vacuum cleaner I really missed it seeing them over at Walmart target bed Bath beyond I really miss those type of old models of the Bissell lift off. They should bring that back I hope bissell would bring that back in the USA 🇺🇸 in the future
It probably wouldn't be the same if they brought it back because their motor wattage is weaker than it was back in the day they don't have a lot of 12 amp machines now like they did back in the eighties and nineties and perhaps 60s even early 2000s everything now is a 7 amp or 8 amp motor

Yes the color of the luxrul is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc ...
