I have this watch. Since 2017. The 24 hour dial is great for setting the date, as you’ll always know if you’re in AM/PM, even when the power has run out.
Hey guys, man do I love these vintage-looking, yellow colored watches with domed cases! I'd really appreciate any suggestion of similar looking brands and models, in the below 500euro price range. For now all I'm finding are Orient Bambinos, and these Zeppelin. But I'd love to know a wider variety. Thanks in advance!
Hi! Thanks for introducing me to this watch! I sadly couldn't find the exact same ref (7060-4), so I bought a newer ref (8060-5) - it is almost the same, but it is 1mm wider and has mineral glass (so it can withstand 5ATM) instead of acrylic (3ATM). It is indeed a brilliant watch, but I have one concern (it is my first mechanical watch, so I have no expertise)... May I ask, if Yours watch makes like _scratchy_ sound while *manual* winding? Because when I wind my LZ129 (same caliber: miyota 9132) manually, it is smooth but sounds a little... scratchy. Like it wasn't lubricated properly. I found just one thread about this (miyota 8125), and no one really answered. Please, let me know, thanks! :) *EDIT:* I tried to listen carefully in part, when You are winding the watch (2:43), and it seems like it makes at least similar sound. But I couldn't hear it properly. If it indeed is common among miyota movements, did it cause any issues?
I think I know what you're talking about - some watches have a more grainy feel when winding them than others. Unless you feel a strange resistance or an uneven wind, I think you are safe
I have a question, does that watch gets charged up? Or like gets the kinetic energy back when it's on the hands? Like other watches wind themselves when u wear them
Hi, nice video but I'm really curious about a very important detail for me! Is the glass really mineral crystal? To be honest with them on the site I can't find it 7060-4, and in other parts the information is contradictory! Please help me with this information, as it is important for me, but I really like the watch and I want to know what the glass is!Many say it's hesalite crystal and that keeps me from buying it! I don't like that type of glass!

Scuse me while i chew down my humble pie... ah much better. Yes it is written right on the back of them as they sit here in my hands. I ve been using them all over the place without knowing. I still would have they would scratch and acrylic crystal mind you, and since i dont have a vostok i dont know, but do have some other brands with plastic/ acrylic crystals and they havent scratched. But better safe than polywatch. I am now to finish my pie and find some plastic calipers.
The watch is not German, and the movement is a modified Miyota. The retail price in Europe was 149 euro. And yes I have one in my collection. The brand is owned by a company far away from Germany.... And also makes watches like Junkers and the Iron Annie. But it's a nice watch for less than 150 euro.
The company behind the Zeppelin brand is the POINT TEC Products Electronic GmbH, registered as a legal body with the Registergericht München; founded in 2001. If you are into Bavarian separatism I would agree with being far away from Germany, but they are actually not, yet...

A wonderful watch! Great design, great movement (and I don't mind some rotor noise), great price.
Amazing watch. Would fit my suit very well... thank you for this
Glad you like it!
@@the1010watchclub you had any issues with this one? i dont think that noise will bother me but some recession were very bad
@@YourBeatzSupport No problems yet- I actually love it more than I thought I would, I've been wearing it almost nonstop
@@the1010watchclub Sounds amazing. I will decide when it arrived. Very nice and detailed Video. Not so many out here so glad you did one!

The pure white model is the best looking one.

I believe that this crystal is hesalite. It can scratch easily but at least you can polish it out with poly watch.
Why did you tape the digital caliper? It's plastic so it can't scratch the watch.
I thought they were plastic until I scratched an acrylic crystal... Turns out they are some sort of carbon composite
@@the1010watchclub heselite I guess
Hello,
Can you please tell where i can buy this watch now?
Nice watch. Nice review.
Thank you! I'm already wearing it on a third different strap, it looks great on so many options
Love your vids bro, just curious why the tape on the plastic calipers? he he😜
Tape prevents scratching the crystal

They’re actually a carbon composite. I thought they were plastic too when I bought them and I ended up scratching the hell out of my Vostok 😂

That's a beautiful watch, but a Japanese watch decorated in Germany.
Looks nice. But too big for a dress watch.
not GMT right?
Correct. Wish it was!

The retail price for miyota 9k zeppelins is far from 150€ ..... quartz ones yes, but not miyota 9k
