Hey man, just saw this video! Love the explanations, but alas the explanation of what the amplitude is is wrong. It isn’t the full swing, but the amount of degrees swing from rest point to full tilt. So at 300° it’s turning 300° measured from the resting position to where it stops turning and starts going the other direction

I think the grit your feeling when screwing the crown back in is the manual wind feature. The SKX doesn't feature manual wind so it would feel smoother. I just bought this watch today and it feels like my other manual wind, screw down crowns.

Make sure you set the lift angle in the menu correct to the movement, for nh36, 7s26 and most common seiko movements it's 53° not the standard 52° which it's set to by default, it will affect the accuracy of the amplitude. An amplitude of 250° isn't great but it's very common to see a lower amplitude on seiko watches. Some people also claim it makes movements last longer due to less rotation, therefore less wear

Ive had my 36mm for about a year now and its still in perfect condition i am very hard on watches i do construction and concrete work this is my every day watch and it has held up with zero issues no scratch and has held perfect time within 30 seconds since i bought it i highly recommend this to anyone Timex really out did themselves with this one. It is a testament to their slogan takes a licking and keeps on ticking😊

I don't know what you guys are talking about, it's not working at all, I sanded my casio with 5000 grit and then went with toothpaste and tried car paint scratch remover and none of those remove the cloudiness
