Great video. I recently purchased a brietling with its calibre B17 (eta 2428-2) movement. It runs a little fast for my liking at +6. Should I wait a little longer to let it break in? Also if I bring it back to my AD which has their in house watch repairer, could they regulate it on the spot or would they need to keep it for a few weeks? I assume it doesn’t take long to regulate at all. Thanks again

I have the 41mm pictured at 3:37 and can confirm it’s a Citizen/Hamilton killer. If you find it on sale like I did, it’s the best sub $100 field watch you could possibly get. You’d have to go north of $200, even $300, to begin to find a field watch that can match its specs (solar, sapphire, screw down crown). And that’s nothing to say of fit, finish, and feel, which are excellent. Kudos, Timex!

Can you use poliwatch on apple watches , i can feel the scratch with my fingernail tho so i guess not .? I have a glass screen protector coming and some uv glue i know that hides the scratches . I did it with a phone and you can see any of the scratches

The way I do it is by putting the watch on the timegrapher upside down, case-back off, and pushing the lever while watching the timegrapher display. It's a lot easier and quicker.

Is is the same for a hand-winding watch?

One more comment on lume, I have the Hamilton "Cooper" and the Casio lume really holds up next to it(Both very bright) I love how they filled out the entire surface area with that stuff. Just looks crisp!

Shame they don't make them anymore. Casio does this for some reason and it bugs me. They make a good watch and then completely miss an opportunity to make it a classic.

I bought one here in the UK. I do like the design and am pleased with how it looks, I like the simplicity of the dial yet it is handsome and tough. One thing that bothers me is the second hand movement. The watch I recieved has an irregular movement, that is it moves 1 and a half markers sometimes and then half a marker then sometimes it hits the markers. It still keeps good time but I'm worried that there is an issue with the second hand, someone on a forum said it may be loose. Anyway, I have contacted the retailer, I may get a replacement. Looking at yours it seems to hit the markers pretty well. Would you say it does hit the markers and is this consistant?

I think the lettering is part of the charm, but I understand since you can pick these up for cheap they are good for modding

So do we use goo gone on the out layer and the rubbing alcohol inside like you did? Or do u suggest using rubbing alcohol both in and out? And how to avoid removing the outer color like you did? Just rub less? (I'm getting the bronze version if that's any different)

A high Beat error can cause low amplitude because the fork is not pushing the balance wheel at the right moment. Also if you set the lift angle incorrectly the machine will show the amplitude incorrectly.
