I had a friend of mine install a new Seiko 6R15 movement in my Seiko Sumo. I have a time graph like you show in the video. I tried to regulate it using the regulator switch. I wasn’t having any luck so I fiddled around with the beat error switch (bad idea), and everything became worse. At this point I think I’ll just take it to a watch repairman and have him fix my screw up & get it running just right. Great info! Now I understand my time graph better!

I got the 36mm blue dial field post solar a couple months ago. Upon receiving it, it looked very nice for the price. The lume is pretty bad, but it’s fine for the price. Overall I was very happy with it, until I noticed something. Whenever I would wear it I would get an itchy rash on that hand where the side of the case would rub against my hand. The bottom doesn’t touch my wrist because of the nato strap. This has never happened to me before with any watch. I can only conclude that it’s not made from 316l stainless steel. I wanna love Timex. I grew up with my mom wearing one. Such a long history to the brand. But my God, are they really using some kind of pot metal for the cases? A $50 seiko 5 doesn’t give me a rash…..

If there is no reason not to buy it, there are still 99 reasons to buy the F91W.

Also if anyone is interested there is a reason why the crown wobbles like that. Its not due to quality. Comparing a cheap quartz Duro though a great watch to a Russian military watch with history and soul is apples to oranges. Those who are interested should look up other channels for history. The mere mention of the wobbly crown says you don't know the history. You also didn't mention a very most important aspects of this watch and makes it a enthusiasts choice. The unique case back and the crystal and how they are designed to function. Your taking about cklor?

I have this watch, bought new. the bloody thing stopped working had it serviced still the same issue. work for a little while then totally stops. so definitely i would not recommend it.

Beat errors can also be from magnetic balance spring betfore getting all squirrelly.

For me, honestly, the terrible light is part of the F91's charm. It's a classic, and it wouldn't be itself with a good light.

Why on earth would anyone bother making counterfeit F9Ws? It's readily available almost everywhere, usually for less than $15. You're supposed to counterfeit stuff that's harder to get or more expensive. Duh.

You can use acetone on plastic but you have to use alcohol to wipe it off almost immediately. The alcohol will get rid of the smearing from the paint and also neutralize the acetone. Then if you want, if it dulls the plastic, use a dab of car polish rub into the plastic and with a clean cloth wipe and slightly buff the polish off without the polish drying. Ive done this with the lettering on resin cases and worked great . Give it a try on a cheap crap watch till you get it down then do your favorite watches like Casio sports watches.
