      You can tell that they are nervous running the interview themselves.
      Marc's leg is shaking, he's sticking to his beer (which is something I can relate with), and talking out of the corner of his mouth.
      Misha is obviously less nervous but watch his hands.

    I went to see this tour they are talking about in detroit, first time I had ever heard Revocation or Veil of Maya... VOM is def one of my favorite bands since that.

    You can kind of see Marc getting a little annoyed at Misha interrupting him every now and then haha, love Veil Of Maya though, Marc is definitely my favorite of the two.

    It's cool how Marc, and Misha like Telefon Tel Aviv. I discovered Telefon Tel Aviv from Jake Bowen when I had a little chat with him when Periphery was playing in Amityville, NY.

    All the things Bulb said about Karnivool are my exact thoughts. While they aren't my absolute favourite band they are easily the most mind blowing live act I've seen. And Sound Awake needs to be played all in one go!

    @lilchile123 oh yeah, that sux, right?! sometimes i barely get any sleep so i just record ideas really quick and try to do something out of it on weekends. but than i can´t write anything good over the day and i´m forced to continue through the night. i worked bloody two months on my latest song cause i either had no ideas to add or i couldn´t get to it. it´s just painful.

    Definitely familiar with the ideas coming in the shower. Sometimes I wonder if there's something sort of naturally meditative about being in the shower. My dad also tells me that if he needs to relax and meditate on something he will do it in the shower.

    Yeah, a click track is basically a met that is set to the tempos throughout the song, as opposed to just feeling it out which probably leads to more fluctuation in tempo.

    @maskproduced it's a track you'll use in studio recordings to keep everyone in time basically, its just the beats per minute like 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 etc, but..not counting, just clicking haha. thats a basic example anyway

    @zac91earthlink A metronome that plays in the drummers ear usually so hes always on time. If the drummer is always on time, the band is always on time. It's common that bands play their songs too fast from nerves and adrenaline on stage.

    @77377Forestorm21103 veil of maya plays in drop b. you dont even get a djent sound out of an open b note. veil of maya plays aggressive complicating rythms and thats what it is, not djent. and if you go listen to their first album, all things set aside you'll notice it is nothing like meshuggah from a composing perspective, its more prog inspired than anything. soooo yaO.o
