  • Looking for a budget-friendly sprayer to use while painting your house?
Well, look no further, my friends! This £60 sprayer is as good as any expensive one out there...well, at least we think so. We didn't actually compare it to any expensive ones, but let's just assume it is, okay?
Now, let me tell you, this sprayer is a real steal. It's like finding a diamond in a pile of rocks, except it's a sprayer in a pile of painting equipment. You get the picture.
Setting up this bad boy is a piece of cake. It's so easy, even your pet goldfish could do it.
Okay, maybe not your goldfish, but you get what I mean. Just follow the instructions, and voila!
    You're ready to start spraying.
Spraying with it is a breeze too. It's like magic, but better because it's real. You just point and spray, and watch as your walls transform into a masterpiece. It's like a symphony of paint spraying, and you're the conductor.
And let's talk about the results. They speak for themselves. Your walls will look so good, your neighbors will be knocking on your door, asking if you're a professional painter. You'll have to tell them that it's just you and your trusty £60 sprayer.
So, is this the best paint sprayer for house painting? Maybe not the very best, but it's definitely up there. And for the price, you really can't go wrong. So go ahead, buy it, and start painting your way to a more beautiful home. Trust us, you won't regret it

Nice one Phil. I’ve got a Wagner 3500 . I couldn’t get the wall spray attachment at short notice. It’s Friday and I needed one for Saturday. Coming back in from Slough Screwfix, with this sitting next to me on the train. Watched this video even though I’ve got quite a bit of experience with my Wagner. The EPS800 cost me £80 plus cab and train of about £25 to complete a job over a couple of afternoons for 600 quid. Really appreciate your breakdown in this video. Always happy to learn from someone in the know.👍🏽. All the best to you going forward with your channel and your business!

Good to see that Ricky Gervais is thinking ahead and getting a trade. He must have been secretly doing it for years as he's an expert and knows what he's doing and gives plenty of tips for us who have never used a spray gun. Didn't realise it was Gervais to begin with until I saw the cheek lift smile and the eyebrow lift he does when he finishes a scene. Hope he decides to do more of these as it's made me decide what paint sprayer to buy. Thank you Phil (wink, wink......Ricky!)

is worth mentioning if youre new to spraying that even if you start out with a fairly cheap HVLP you need one where the motor is always spinning and the trigger just releases the paint into the airflow. wagner do some that the trigger actually starts the motor up at the same time as releasing the paint so you get splatter every time and you wont know why.

    Hi Phil
as an amateur HVLP (not used one yet) sprayer I’m really interested in the final finish , wet and dry of many of your demos that you have put on. Back in the day when I sprayed cars there was never enough light and
found that if you shine a light from below (a lead lamp) close to whatever your spraying it illuminates the work
piece well. A few shots of your work under those conditions would really let others know what they are trying to achieve, or not achieve 😂 as just a close up in most cases doesn’t really show up the finish in standard light.
Just an idea to guide interested parties. 👍

I’ ve been in the trade 39 yrs and I see a lot of similarities between us. Keep up the good work, we’re always learning new things, and your vids certainly help.
I bought one of these in April to paint bedroom furniture.! And t actually left a cracking job. On my 2nd time of using it I had real problems. The little suction pipe would continuously fall off, and I even got a ton of paint backing up into the air hose, I’ve no idea why that happened, but what a mess it made. I took it back to Screwfix and swapped it for the Energer model. With that I sprayed some sliding wardrobe doors and it also left a reasonably good finish. Had no problems with it since so happy days. Tomorrow I’ve some stair spindles to do, so gonna give it another outing. Great work Phi, hope Santa brings you that Porsche 😊

Brilliant video and tutorial Phil. Love your channel and your detailed but light hearted presenting style. You've got me very tempted by this machine. Do you think there would be any benefit to adding a conditioner to the paint (Flowtrol or similar) when spraying with this or is there no need? My go to paint is Leyland acrylic undercoat and gloss (Zinsser B123 for any ropey surfaces). Only other WB paint I've tried is No Nonsense primer/undercoat which I didn't get on with and Dulux Weathershield exterior satin, which I found nice to apply but had a bit of a blueish tinge to it and looked a bit translucent/laquerish (if that's a really word?). Not sure if that was normal or I had a dodgy tin. Up for trying something different though if you have any recommendations. Thanks again for a great informative video.

The more power a sprayer has the better ..
The £40 one is only 100w lower in power than the. Other one.. which was £65 when I bought it.
Both good... Size may be a the only thing that may make you go for the smaller one over the bit bigger on.

    • @ProfessionalPainterDecorator
      @ProfessionalPainterDecorator  Рік тому

Hi. Tnx. Ideally you want a small air cap hole for varnish as it's so thin. If you're thinking waterbase . Try it, just turn down the paint flow and see how it goes.
Outside wall spraying, you'd normally go with an airless machine.
You'll spray emulsion with this, but it may be a bit slow for large areas... That may suit you as you have a bit more control.
Use the larger air cap for emulsion.
You still may need to thin the paint.. trial and error on that.
Test on some card board first.

I've watched a few of your UA-cam videos closely and I must say, they have been incredibly helpful and enjoyable to watch, so thank you!
Recently, I hired a professional UPVC sprayer to work on an MDF wall unit but the final touch-ups went wrong (different colours in patches) and he has abandoned the job, so I’m considering respraying the top of the unit myself. I was looking at the airless Erbauer 600W, but now I’m edging towards this sprayer if it’s better for woodwork. In your expert option do you think this sprayer would be a better fit than the airless? The unit has already had two coats of paint and I don’t know what paint he used but the colour match was Wimborne White in a satin finish. Do you know what paint would spray well that I could colour match and deliver a satin finish? Thank you and keep up the fantastic work!

    • @ProfessionalPainterDecorator
      @ProfessionalPainterDecorator  Рік тому +1

This one would be good... More power.
Airless.... If you have lots of paint to use on a large area.
For finer finish work, you may need a bit more practice with it, getting the tip, filters, paint and pressure right.
Paint... Why not buy farrow and ball modern eggshell... It sprays lovely.. thin as required to get best spray results.
      It's about £50ish for 2.5ltrs
In the bigger scheme of things not a fortune to get the right colour.

@@ProfessionalPainterDecorator Thank you very much for your quick response and your advice. Really appreciate it!
I think the wall unit may have been painted with cellulose (he mentioned automotive paint) or similar oil-based paint. Would the Farrow and Ball stick to it ok with it being water based? Or do you think I’m better off using an oil based paint? I watched your video showing Frenchic, AllCoat, Bedec and Tikkurila/Otex Akva and saw the suggestion of Everal Aqua 40 in the comments too. Do you reckon Otex Akva on oil based surface? I would need to colour match to F&B Wimborne White satin but a bit lost as to what to use.

Normally that's due to needing thinning more and turn up the air pressure.
But as said before.. some paintw don't spray well.
Does it say on the can it can be sprayed?

@@ProfessionalPainterDecoratorthanks for replying Phil! I will try thinning down more today, as cant adjust pressure. Was worried about thinning too much? Can I thin too much?
