Great reaction. The lead singer (Ian Astbury) of this band was born in England , but his family moved to my hometown of Hamilton, Ontario when he was about 11. Ian Astbury almost won the role of Morrison in Oliver Stone's The Doors film that eventually went to Val Kilmer as I recall. One of the best songs ever recorded! Love this track!! Glad you liked it Jayvee! Man you got dropped! 🤣🤣🤣
Hey Jay! Love this song so much. Haven’t watched the reaction yet, just wanted to be first! 🤣
I can't listen to this song without cranking it UP!
Ian always gave off a Jim Morrison vibe to me
Ian Astbury almost won the role of Morrison in Oliver Stone's The Doors film that eventually went to Val Kilmer as I recall. Well, even The Doors (at least half of them) felt that way since they hired him to be the lead singer for The Doors of the 21st Century.
Now that I think of it I recall hearing rumors long ago that Astbury was Jim Morrison's lovechild from a UK tour... I never really believed them even they do sound and look a like quite a bit!. Would be cool though....
@@darquemode1165 - Jim Morrison only ever did two UK shows with The Doors: two nights at The Roundhouse, London in September 1968. Ian Astbury was born in May 1962.
@@L0stJ0hnny Good to know! I never believed it it enough to check into it honestly...
This takes me back to the days in the 80's swimming with my cousins. Unfortunately my youngest cousin would drown in that same pool in 2011
Omg, so sorry
⚘😔
one of many songs that the volume needs to be set at 11
The Cult is a great underrated rock band!!! Just Excellent!!! Seen them in concert once!!!! Excellent concert!!!!
Um. How about billy squier
"In the Dark" is a good Billy Squier tune.
@@fredhall6525 Second this suggestion.
Fire Woman please. That song was my introduction to them when I was 14. Loved them ever since, went and saw them 5 years ago. They still rocked it.
Check out "Love Removal Machine"
Love Removal Machine by The Cult is one of my all-time favourite songs.
you should check out, The Sisters of Mercy This Corrosion
Yes, and also Temple of Love, Lucretia My Reflection, and Dominion/Mother Russia. Or pretty much anything off the Floodland album.
Check out their album "Electric". My favourite track is "love removal machine". Ian Astbury's voice is incredible. Bonus fact: Billy Duffy (Guitars) was in Morrisey's first band and is a lifelong friend of Johnny Marr from The Smiths. Manchester strikes again.
Great channel, if you would react to Sweet soul sister or little devil-Cult. Regards from Iceland
The guitarist, Billy Duffy, was voted one of the most influential guitar players of the 80s.
I've got The Southern Death Cult, and Death Cult, and The Cult Live at the Lyceum, Love and Electric on vinyl. I am a fan.
React to The Cult’s “Love Removal Machine”..
That Cult. One of my favorite, just straight Rock bands. Please check out "Painted on my Heart".
Oh damn my inner stripper just emerged! 😆🤣
I've seen them many many times live in London. Billy Duffy did a guitar solo about 4 feet from me and stuck his tongue out at me 🤩...it made my night. Excellent band and very loud live....those were the days
