I answered a bunch of your questions + more thermals ua-cam.com/video/ZidLIaK5eSE/v-deo.html
Hey Nick! Can you confirm if they installed the V2 of the 850w PSU with Japanese capacitors? There's a possibility they might have put the old one which had issues
The “Nick” NR200P’orn Edition 🥰🏆👍. Great review and the only channel to note the Gen4 PCI-E Riser 🥳🎉. I personally have the original NR200 (non-TG panel) and it’s an awesome case and I’m about to dual-rad mod it with my R9 5900X and RTX3080Ti…Tie Edition 👔.
NO PROBLEM WITH THE BACK PANEL!!! nr200p needs to be turned upside down and swap the lower and upper panels + expand the front panels 180. You only need to make 1 rectangular hole to hang the power supply (corner of the power supply bracket). THAT'S IT!
it remains only to fix the radiator from above (240) or figure out how to fix it (280).
I have almost the exact same build and had to get rid of the GPU due to ridiculous thermals/noise.
Turns out Turbo cards are strictly for data centres/mining operations. That lesson cost me €1500
Does it come with thermal paste?
Haven't seen one of your videos in my recommended feed in months. So glad to watch again!
I’ve been considering an SFF build in the original NR200 for months now and this has made me rethink my whole plan!
Great video as always Nick! Keep up the good work 💪
Your video review of the NR200P was originally what got me interested in this case, with the 280mm Arctic, which fits beautifully.
Thank you and keep up the good work!
I'm glad I found this video. I was prepared to buy a NR200, but now I'm going to hold off a few weeks and get this MAX case instead.
Thanks so VERY MUCH! Nick! this video sold me on the decision to build my very first ITX gaming rig. Very well explained details. You have no idea how much hassle you have saved me from the chaos of choosing a robust yet compact chassis for something so ambitious like an RTX4090 maxed out setup. Cheers!
just the right video to watch at 11pm at night 😂 thanks for the upload 👍
👊
Good to see such a well thought out case. For what it is, it seems perfect.
Awesome video fams, loving the NR200 range
Thanks! You are the best. No one on UA-cam compared the non-Max vs Max versions. I like horizontal GPU mount. I will get the non-Max version. Thanks again for the helpful review!
Had me sold at the included AIO and PSU. THANK YOU COOLER MASTER.
oo that teal color is sick, well done cooler master
Thumbs up just for cinematic mode alone. That was great!
Sheesh! And I finally know the price, great review. Might actually pull the trigger on an ITX build 💯
I have absolutely no regrets with my current NR200, I've built it to the way I wanted.
But I can see this being appealing to those new to the ITX build, especially since the AIO and PSU is already fitted in for you; plus along with a great price with it as well!
I just bought mine less than a month ago and I regret it a little since I bought a new cooler and psu with it :/
I’m obsessed with SFF lol, I had the NR200p, now I have my system in a Meshlicious, & shortly it’ll probably be in this beauty.
They lowered GPU to a position that completely ruling out the possibility for a second 240mm radiator? Why??
@@cloudytech2297 why you need that second rad?
@@cloudytech2297 How much crap do you want to put in a mini itx case? Buy an atx case if you want all that garbage.
I just built in the regular NR200! I kind of wish the Max was an option when i was shopping for cases. But really the Max doesn't add on quite enough to give me buyers remorse. The updates are awesome though, and i'm glad CM are commited to listening to consumers about this case line.
Great Video with awesome music👍🏻👍🏻
Literally can’t wait for this to be available!!!
excellent deep reviews, love it.
I am certainly excited for this case. I have been looking for a nice small form factor pc . This will be my first pc build I cant wait!!
I saw Jayz review late last night, and was really hoping you would get yours up too. Love the videos.
His was not a review. He broke the embargo by 2 weeks.
@@GearSeekers I didn’t know anything about the embargo on this case until your intro. Jayz, let’s agree to call it not a review but rather an overview, had me really intrigued, but left a couple of questions, namely pricing/availability. Your review answered questions I didn’t know I had. I’ve been wanting to build a SFF system for a while, and at $350 for all they are offering here, this is a no brainer.
This case is seriously making me consider a SFF for my next build.
Do it. I own the original and love it.
Do it.
I own the original and if you don't need 3.5" drives, it's a great little 4 SSD case with ridiculous thermals.
Did you do it? I am tempted to get an NR200P and do my first ITX build!😂
Hey Nick! I really hope coolermaster listens and makes a V2 version of the original nr200 which I bought.....I think the new layout is amazing, one other thing I wish they did was offer a tension bracket or something for really heavy cards. Also the song at the end SLAPS
They definitely need to refresh and please add M-ATX support >__
I agree about the song at the end.
@@ZioComposite u can use Micro ATX Form Factor: 7.76-in x 7.4-in, 19.7 cm x 18.8 cm (asrock h410m HDV,h470m HDV)
Mini DTX, Mini ITX, Max MB size: 244 x 226mm (L x H)
@@raviprasad6396 have looked into it but it’s super limited for stock use or if you want specific mobo. Ended up getting a Sama im01 for Matx support though
@@ZioComposite u can 3d print brackets and use it but there's some sacrifices like using riser cable for GPU
I have the NR200P and love it! That being said, I'll be buying one of these too.
The 011 Dynamic does such a great job with the back of the case, where it can be set in different positions depending on the motherboard and config you wanna build. Would be great to see Cooler Master implement something similar. Give the user the option to move the motherboard lower to put their own AIO at the top. Keep the power cord at the bottom
Love that little block on the front panel connections. Cooler Master, if you're reading this... sell that damn thing individually!
First time watching ur video, so perfectly explained dude,I ordered the same one ,orange case is sold out every website ,NYC.
Your Cinematic modes are freaking awesomes and the song is really cool :D thanks for your videos :D
Was planning on the classic NR200 for a new build in a few months, but seeing this, definitely interested in a V2 of the original without the included PSU and AIO so I can bring some of my own parts in.
Cooler Master did it again!
I love this man, awesome video!
Still needs a USB type C port at the front. Otherwise looks flawless.
Why is this a thing where laptops are ahead of desktops? So stupid.
@@Mad5cout Many new cases have it. It's just Cooler Master that seems to be lagging behind...
I disagree, prefer the clean look.
Just out of curiosity, What are you plugging into the desktop USB-C ?
What are you using the type C port for? I have one on my case, but no use for it right now. Everything I have that uses type C, uses type A on the other end.
Love this case and the video!! Great job! Where in Portugal they just sell the case without any AIO and Power supply, its sad
wonderful vid. wonderful content . thanks !! subbed
I love this case and Hell yeah, Nr200P V2!
Great review, thank you
This case is ROCK!!
I am using Louqe Ghost S1 now, this is just even much much better on value and functional in every way!
If they sold an official NR200/P Hat to convert old cases for top mounted AIO, would buy it. Otherwise, this case is an amazing value!! I'm sold. Thank you for making this vid!
The thing I loved about the NR200 was the normal layout with space for aircoolers so this is not for me but still very cool!
Ya, I'll stick to the Scythe Fuma 2.
I quite liked the original NR200, so I'm glad CoolerMaster was listening and made a more interesting variant on the original!
Saw you comment on Dan Corrigans channel great content you got a new sub!
Thanks mate! Appreciate that!
Thank you for raising the question!! I sold my NR200 P because it couldn't fit my GPU and AIO nicely, now they only sell it bundled... which is a pitty because I wont pay 360 euros to replace new parts that I bought recently
Thanks Nick
Hope it will come in that blue too
If it does it would be GAME OVER! It would look so sick!
OMG thanks for this video. Was going to get the Lian Li Q58 but this case have what I need for my all AMD build.
This is a steal man. Great product cooler master
Great vid NIck! Slightly disappointed it no longer has the option for horizonal gpu, but still not gonna lie I´m just waiting I can get my hands on one of those so I can finally make my way into the SFF gang!
Nice review
This case and components, Sick ,Love it ,should really do something with the front panel though, Like some sort of Sick airflow design ,just on the front ,USB socket ,,That would be Sick ,love it seriously thinking of this case as a contender, great work as always Nick /Wife
I originally had a NR200 as soon as they hit the NA market and loved it but eventually decided I wanted to build in to a Lian Li 011 Mini to show off my hardware. Two of the largest gripes I had with the NR200 was not being able to use the top mount for a rad without some janky solution and cable routing with stiff cables made me feel a deep pain in the pit of my stomach. This solves both along with vertical mounting to boot.
I might have to go back with my next build...
That's it, I'm selling my mobo, case, fans and psu lol. I've been on the fence about downsizing forever(got an 011 atm) and your vid on the original nr200 has had me looking at it and sfx psus for ages.
Everything about this case has sold me, especially having an 850 watt psu, only reason I never dropped stupid money on the H1. Thanks for the awesome video, don't know what you mean about standards, loaded with plenty of info like always 👌
I just did this last week. I also have the 011. I didn’t go with NR200 tho. I went with the NCASE M1. A little bit smaller and more expensive, but that’s what I wanted. Love my new SFF build. Light and easy to work in “the NCASE M1 weighs 4.4lbs” easy to upgrade parts. The 011 is really heavy to move around. I highly recommend going SFF
I have to warned you, you are about to fall into a rabbit hole of the size of the grand canyon. I started with the NR200p and now I'm on my 3rd build going Sub 10L volume case.
We in the same boat at the moment, my 011 is such a monstrosity I don't know why I got it to begin with. can't wait to downsize.
nice music as always !
I took a PROPER look at this video!
There is a mod to get a radiator on the top of an NR200P - basically, it involves flipping the case upside down, and requires a bit of drilling, but it is apparently fairly simple to accomplish if you're willing to drill out the rivets.
I am really looking forward to the vid with the bottom fans. It would be interesting to comprare the results ...
It's already up
Love the build regardless of the embargo! I wish this case was available when I was building my nr200p ! (cry)
Great video! Just bought 1 week ago a CM NR200P :))) .. guess what I am buying next ?! :D
Yeah if they make a V.2 id definitely pick one up, I wanna do a custom loop in one of these !
absolute loving the upgrades here, now got more options for my upcoming build, was wondering tho if you can fit 2 slim 120mm fans below for better airflow
They should fit. I did mention that in the video. I didn't get time to test yet because this video was pushed out WAY faster than it should have been.
@@GearSeekers thanks for the fast reply, keep up with the great content, also maybe if you could test down the line with some aftermarket gpu coolers, if having two intakes in the bottom and the TG panel would improve thermals since it forces airflow from bottom to exhaust in the top ?
@@BelliSenior I've got a few more videos planned with the MAX ;)
@@GearSeekers you absolute legend
@@BelliSenior Official website says bottom fan support is 2 x 120mm, 15mm slim fans.
Love the channel cooler master fan here!
Switch front usb and pwr button location to the front side of the case and bottom and top panels to be matching parts -> Flipping the case to right side orientation would be great. Then add possibility to add feet on the rear panel so people can set this case in vertical position also.
Great video Nick!
i'm sorta concerned that it has a weird radiator tube length, how well does it take other 280mm aios? will it take the arctic 280mm for example? are there any complications?
the nr200p max is nice but it has the same problem as the nzxt h1 for me. it's a big upfront cost for a "case" although it comes with a cooler and psu
Beautiful case
Finally got mine home today
Can confirm... NR200 exterior panels work on NR200P Max. Got rid of my gray panels for NR200 base model black ones. TG side panel is the same too. Chassis is different, less the panel attachment points. Real price is currently $459 for the Max, which isn't a good value anymore. But the Max really is that much better that I ate the cost.
Also you have a couple options for a 3.5" drive which isn't widely known. Bottom panel has cutouts for 3.5" pattern grommets. You lose a fan down there but it won't interfere with GPU.
Consider setting lower fan(s) to exhaust and the case will remain a negative pressure case, drawing air in the from the sides. If you absolutely must use TG side panel, probably set the bottom fan(s) to intake and use lower power components to make less heat. I opted for mesh side panel.
I need this backpanel for my NR200P. Anyway, CM's SFF series is amazing
I'd honestly love to see them make an air cooler focused revision, but this is a nice idea for a lot of people. Very simple, very clean, nice value for money.
I'd really love to see a version that is possibly slightly wider for the largest air coolers, along with some sort of sliding floor that could accommodate GPU deshroud mods.
Waiting for the crazy mods people will do with putting a rad on the bottom as well or even on the side panel with an external pump.
Hell an empty version of this would be sick, i would probably rebuild my set up to change it over to this.
Was hoping for the same. The grey colour is so much better than white or black imo
Lol - Jayz early "review" was terrible - thanks for taking the time to get a review out so quick!
You mean his blatant disregard for an embargo that was 2 weeks away
@@GearSeekers as a content creator, what fines are you facing if you break the embargo? I think that's one of the q and a question you can answer sometime later
@@chronicle_4 There’s no fines, companies just put you on a blacklist and stop sending you products early. Same for video game reviewers, movie reviewers, etc.
One thing I would change to the case is raising the PCIe slots enough to be able to fit 25mm thick fans at the bottom. Though that could make plugging the PCIe power cable to a very wide GPU very tricky. That's unless it turns out that 25mm thick fans can actually fit if that's been tried.
Damn and I just swapped my NR200 build into my Meshlicious case last week. NR200 is a good case. They should consider making an all mesh NR200 case and I'll switch back to that case in a heartbeat
Everything you said at 19:49 makes sense.
Wow this case is superb!!!!! Please add a usb c it would be really helpful. But wow they nailed this case for real!
lmao we could have aussie socket do a video for us !! more color choices Cooler Master !! we need that pc p orn on the channel !!
First thing, this gray color looks so creamy and way more premium feeling than the OG one.
and I'd like to see the performance of putting two more fans at the bottom on the Max vs the OG one with water cooling on the side with top and bottom fans.
The lack of bottom fans had be bewildered too. Those thermals weren't special. I get similar or better thermals from my heatbox Evolv Shift 2 using only a 120mm AIO and mixture of TG and Mesh side panels. You would have to experiment on the orientation of the fans. Do you run them as exhaust or intake?
Could be wrong, but I don't think there's room for rad/fans on the side panel on the max version. Given the gpu only mounts vertically.
Always annoying when some loser breaks street date early. That's a PROPER good quality case. Awesome video fams. Keep up the hard work.
really good video. you just have to watch it to get most of your questions answered lol
That's the point of the video right? lol
@@GearSeekers lol
My max is still going strong. Used this vid to help build it since it’s my first time. Hehe. Wondering how to water cool it though and what are the best boards to use when upgrading.
my rig is on the Ncase M1 v6, will get this if CM sells it without aio & psu.
I'm fine with the PSU, just what to choose my own coming. I want to be able to add my own choice of AIO or air cooler. The beauty of the NR200 is it can fit decent sized air coolers.
more nr200? yes pls!
Thanks J2C!
Thanks for disregarding an embargo and ruining countless other UA-camrs content scheduling.
If I was building something small for gaming only this would be a GREAT case. I wish it had a type c port, but for gaming it's not required.
I wish I could get a hold of the MAX version for that hassle free build. Might have to just go for the standard case on its own.
I already have an ITX build in the NZXT H210 but the case is not really that small, if Cooler Master ever releases a NR200p V2 I'm literally gonna buy that on the spot
If you end up doing the thermal video please try different GPU cooler heatsinks. Thanks!
I hope the power supply that's included is a the new revision. The original V850 SFX had insanely high fan noise.
Love you videos! I'll be upgrading my pc, I cant decide either to get the NR200 and switch to ITX or retain my mobo and get a SAMA IM01 MATX/ITX case. Can you review the SAMA IM01 / TEcware Fusion MATX/ITX Case. Thanks!
For $350.... You get the case, PSU, 280mm AIO, AND the gen4 riser cable. Those can be expensive as well. Seems like a decent price considering the included components.
Hey, loved your video, can you tell me how many pcie cable were included ? I only received 1 daisy chained and I would need at least 2 to run a 4080 ...
Hey, are you going to release the end track you used on any streaming services like Spotify? I love that track!!
Very nice case. Is it possible to build 2 case fans under the videocard so it would blow air upwards?
If this had a platinum PSU in it, it would already be in my cart. As is, I want a bare case so I can install my own PSU and an AIO of my choice. One of the reasons for this case may be that they had overstock on the PSU and the CM AIO got panned in reviews because it was too easier to install incorrectly and bust the rad open. This may be their solution to get rid of overstock that they can't sell otherwise.
Will you try fitting the 25 mm fan on the bottom? :) They said it's max 15 mm, but it seems like i can fit ( maybe with some strugle... )
Case of the year, this case is like a new puppy. Who doesn't like puppies?👏🏾
Puppy killers. Evil people!
Puppies galore!!
@@GearSeekers Keep up the great work 🥳👏🏾
Can you sneak asus dtx in the bottom? I think you have one from before. Great overview
It's great that it isn't much bigger. I prefer the original because I'm air cooling but the MAX is an amazing option for anyone willing to use the AIO
2:27 Minus the firey part 🔥🔥🔥
GS: No more NR200P content.
CM: Hold my MAX
HAHAHAHAHA! Just when you think you're out, THEY PULL YOU RIGHT BACK IN!
Looks better than the NZXT H1 imo
