you get less intef mounting it that ? The other way I'm thinking it can hit the motor. it comes close the way HB tells you to mount it. Your way might be better more view for the mega live then maybe hitting side of motor What's your thought on it ???
Mounted on barrel but i cant get forward mode to work any ideas on this thanks. When i put the ML in postion its showing the bottom i assume up and down the screen.
It can work on a Ulterra, but it is not ideal. I did it for 2 years. Essentially instead of wrapping the cable around the shaft. You just have it loose and electrical tape up by the control head to the trolling motor cable. You give enough slack in the cable to not hit the propeller. It was never an issue when deploying but when stowing you do have to go up front and help the cable stow or it can get pinched.

Are all rod sleeves pretty much universal in length or is there others? Also, did you run your mega live power to trolling batteries, separate battery or cranking? Thanks again!!
Hey Matt, Thank you for the order, will get it shipped out right away. Most rod sleeves are 6-7'6, We ended up using 3 on the install for my brother. Not a good idea a lot of interference with motor on. When chasing school of fish have to have it on and almost impossible to see your lure and fish get a pole have seen good reviews!.
You can spot lock no problem. There will be some interference with the down imagine signal, but that will happen regardless of where it’s mounted. There is not interference form the trolling motor barrel.
How can I purchase one ?and will it work on an advantage trolling motor on a tiller in the back?.. I would think it would be the same concept it's on the barrel... Let me know what you think and I'd like to purchase one if that would work for me.
@@joeycampbell17 it will but the power drive doesn’t have a lot of room to wrap the cables like the terrova. There is some videos out there using a coiled bike lock if you search Livescope Ulterra. I’d do the cable management that way using this mount.

Are you able to use spot lock still with that installed? Also, any interference when using the built in MDI on the Terrova? I have the same one
