I learned that in prison. Being comfortable being uncomfortable. I took this skill and applied to bein an elevator mechanic. The heights and work conditions are rough. This expression got me through some of my best repairs and construction jobs that most men were too scared to do.
No better way of explaining that mental place some of us can go. And the funny thing is, we all have that place, we just don't all know we have that place mentally and we don't know how to access it at will. The human mind is a very strong place. And yes it's a place.
