I had mine since launch. I knew this camera was the future. I run it on the ready rig and can't wait till the flex is actually available. My only issue so far is an advanced feature. If I'm using any zoom lens like the Zeiss 24-70 and zoom, the lidar trips out and the auto focus stops focusing. It is something they can probably fix with a firmware.
I thought about this as well the other day. The Ronin 4D serves well for me. I really don't have any complaints about it at all. If I wanted anything to be better, it would be a smoother autofocus with Sony lenses when compared to DJI lenses (this can be fixed with a firmware update). But I only noticed that because I do a lot of movement with live concerts. I love the top handle, but like u said, I wish there was a record button on it. As far as the DJI Pro SSD, I love it, it's just a bit pricey. Other than that, I think everything about the camera is great.
I watched your video - valid points but regarding the weight issue - I've held heavier cameras but they were a bit more comfortable to hold because I wasn't forced to hold it in a certain way. To use the 4D the way its meant to be used while taking advantage of all features users are forced to hold it in a way where weight is an issue. A sony fx3 on the RS3 is easier to hold since I can adjust my hand / arm position while still utilizing all its features. That is the issue and I hope that makes sense. Regarding LIDAR - it has issues - sometimes the nose of a person would be in focus while the face isn't. I've had that happen to me multiple times. You shouldn't have to make a video explaining why certain things are happening with lidar - real world use versus their marketing campaign tells a totally different story. Dont get me wrong I love this camera and want it to succeed but DJI need a list of issues so that they can be fixed. If users ares using the camera wrong then thats a DJI issue know?

Great camera! I do agree! I currently use the Sony 24 FE G and its been solid
@@Tfive_Productions I'm going to have to try it. I use the Sony 35mm 1.4, but been using the DJI lenses because they work a bit better.

Lidar can be better for sure. I have issues with it too.
