If you strip down ronin 4d to bare minimum weight are you able to use on rs4pro for the track function for waypoints on the ronin app? If not why doesn’t ronin 4d have this function and rs4pro does and is there anyway to track for repeatable shots?
Can I use this ronin 4D to use as a TV studio camera to transmit live and direct or to transmit live and direct as an outdoor cameraman for TV programs?
Great video and it is an amazing platform and definitely the future. Using the Sony and Sigma lenses with the 4D also adds allot to the look of the 4D. keep up the great content and some video with the tilta hydra and car mounts will also be great.
at 6:47, a correction!, you are not completely taking the electrics out, the 'manual focus' is technically a fly-by-wire system, the manual part is just an encoder which takes your motion and gives electrical commands to the motors on the lens elements.
Here in the UK I took delivery of the 8K Ronin 4D combo which includes pror-res raw and the native 17-28mm DJI zoom lens - looking forward to trying some shots you demo'd here with mine! thanks for the video! What backback did you use with the Flex?
Really cool except for that 4D focus. It is rough. Even when dribbling the DOF wasn't shallow and it was off. Slow stuff the image is nice. How often do you need a gimbal camera for slow stuff though. Kinda the point.
The DJI Ronin 4D is a technological marvel. I am very impressed. However, I can’t help but wonder; how practical is it really for a solo amateur filmmaker like myself. It seems rather complicated and time consuming to set up (this ain’t no run and gun camera). It looks heavy, bulky and fragile. The accessories are all expensive and add quite a bit to the already high level of complexity of the camera. It seems like it is better suited for filmmakers with some level assistance and not really for someone who has to do everything himself. The day DJI produces a similarly specced camera, but smaller and lighter, as well as easier to use, I probably will buy it. For the time being, I shall pass.

On my 4D screen there is no Shutter Angle option. I've updated all the newest firmware. How did you guys get Shutter Angle on your 4D?
