Had someone at the weekend ask why Bungie has never added the option to have pre-built loadouts you can quickly switch between when we asked why they were taking so long at each encounter. We pointed out that they do and it's to the left of the build screen. Prolonged silence and then they just left. 😂

I've had someone do that as well but since he was in the Discord chat on his phone he brought everyone with him.
Nothing beats the guy saying “I’ll be right back, gotta eat dinner,” then the whole fireteam gives them 20-30 minutes out of courtesy and the same person leaves after we wipe a few times afterwards (usually through fault of their own).
If he can do the "chill out" guy that would be great😂Like after the 8th wipe you start asking what went wrong and who fucked up and that guy's like "yo chill out shit happens"

The worst one is when he's a runner after multiple wipes he say's i still didn't understand the raid what do i do

I remember one time we had a person say "I'll be right back". We wait like 20 minutes and he just leaves without saying anything. Like bruh if you were just gonna leave then say that we could've found a new person by now
It's for reasons like this I make myself bankrupt by preparing completely different armor sets and weapons for all of my builds. Came in handy during crota day 1 period when loadouts were disabled.

Thats why i have a raid boss loadout for all 3 classes specifically for dps, its good to not be that guy
I felt very called out until I watched the video and realised it was about actually changing up builds and not having 3 loadout that you switch between during encounters.
I am def guilty of the “oh hold on lemme transfer my weapons” and forget to rally

I spend most of my time on destiny doing Sherpa runs. If someone asks too many questions about loadouts, you just gotta tell them to put on the build that’s the most fun to them and don’t swap. Normal mode raids are stupid easy and don’t require any ultimate build lol. Honestly can work around most boss fight without a Well even.
I hear that. Sherpa'd quite a few raids too and I typically just tell noobs to put in whatever is comfortable to them. Unless they need something specific and even then I try to keep requirements as general as possible. Worst case scenario, I would swap builds to compensate for whatever the team lacked.
Not that this isn’t funny, because it still is, but it would’ve been much funnier if loadouts weren’t a thing lol. Newer Lights will never experience the pain of that ONE guy who needed to change their ENTIRE build, mods included. The forgetting to rally is the icing on the cake! 😂

My build is built on hopes, prayers, and karnstein armlets.
You don’t need a build for a raid. A burst damage super/well and a decent heavy weapon for dps…… that’s all you need.
I know I can be that guy so I have a simple DPS loadout when I start wasting people's time. Cause even I dont like dealing with me.

This is painfully accurate. There's always that annoying super nerd who is constantly asking everyone to wait just to browse through their plethora of builds. And if it's not that, it's the asshole type of nerd constantly yelling at other players telling them to either uninstall or that raiding is beyond them.
Nah but fr some people start trying to change up the strategy in a big way when we did well we just got unlucky and need to tweak our performance a little to get it done. Ive seen it where we chnaged the strategy and pregressively got worse and worse after a few mkre attempts. I just dipped after that.
I can save builds in d2 all day long but they won’t load it’s why I use dim but what that guy did is unacceptable and rude

Sometimes I think the choice of going Strand is just for that niche convenience in clearing an encounter!
But I know for a fact that you can clear a raid with any class!
After my experience with those LFGers, my conclusion is pretty much believe Strand users have skill issues!🤣
