@@raezor6941in Verity, there is a fake death sequence where inside team guardians "die,". Its a lot complicated and theres no way I can truly describe the encounter in a rely. Id recommend watching a guide (like Fallout's) to have a better explanation
@@msdsander1 Short answer YES. Its a really hard encounter similar to the vault in last wish. But just like the vault in some time when everyone learns it will get a lot easier but even then it will still be harder than vault is now.
A TLDR of Verity. Do you like shapes? Do you like following orders on what shapes you are collecting? Yes? Good…now toss it in the trash can and do everything the opposite

i genuinely experience unfathomable joy from these videos. thank you. the voices, characters, and deep destiny memes and lore HOLY SHIT ITS GOT A FUCKING RAID GUIDE TOO! SUCH A BLESSING!!!!
DUDE, your raid guides are by far the ~smoothest~ and most digestible guides I have ever seen. The animation, the dialogue, it's like some high budget PBS program with how well this is presented. And the format is amazing. You're just a...fucking beautiful human being. God damn. I can't geek any harder, just good shit man 😆
A bit more info to make first encounter smoother: Attendants and Hobgoblins will spawn on opposite paths. The Path with the Attendants will receive an Overload Minotaur in their 3rd room, while if they elect not to progress or kill this Minotaur, the Path with the Hobgoblins will receive an Overload Minotaur in their 4th room. The Hydras required to open the doors will only spawn in rooms you have visited, so by knowing this, if you're on the team that won't be killing the OL minotaur, identified by your enemy type in room 1 or 2, and don't have plates to worry about, you can just stop, stay there and kill the hydras as they spawn. Hydras spawn to open a room's exit when that room's minotaur dies. Equally, if you are on the team killing the OL minotaur, you can ignore Hydras *if you are running challenge, as in challenge only the Hobgoblin side's doors must be opened,* or are getting the first tormentor to spawn. Speaking of Challenge, the easy way to do challenge is to simply stop moving if you see Attendants, as that's the side that has the room 3 OL and thus will fail challenge by clearing it. You can potentially go even faster by sending people on the side that sees them back to join with Hobgoblin side and leaving only 1 or 2 people to kill hydras as they spawn. As for plates... During the second round, the side that has Hobgoblins will have a Plate and a Conductor, located in their second and third room of the path. Which one is which doesn't *really* matter, just that that is where you will find those parts of the circuit and should place your mechanics players after the second tormentor kill. Once the second tormentor is killed, the second circuit's position is also already fixed and doesn't need to be hunted for. Half of the second circuit will spawn in the room where the OL Minotaur that was killed to spawn the tormentor died, while the other half will be in the next room on from that path. In practice, this means in normal play Hobgoblin rooms 2-3 will be a circuit and Attendant rooms 3-4 will be a circuit, while in challenge mode Hobgoblin rooms 2-3 and 4-5 will contain the circuits. To briefly summarise the point of all of this, the only rng factor that matters regarding what actions you need to take can be identified, solved and accounted for as early as the first add room in each cycle, which can massively speed up your play, especially in the even more time sensitive challenge. Every other "rng" factor is either that first coin toss expressed in a different way, in which you already know the result before you arrive, or is not rng at all and is less known information.
@@ChemistyStudent it's mostly stuff that's real good for at least one person to know going into challenge so they can coordinate the teams for faster speed, but also just knowing the plate rooms being 2-3 hobgoblin and Overload kill room + 1 really makes getting mechanics done easier. The latter is something I picked up on 15-20 tries into day 1. You don't need to know all of it immediately, but a few, simpler things can be an easy takeaway to make normal no challenge easier: After killing the first tormentor in a phase, search the second room. If you see the plate glow or a conductor open, you have mechanics first in that room and the next. If you don't, you have the OL in your next room. Once you return from killing the second tormentor, if you killed the OL, the circuit will be in the room you killed it and the next one. Those 2 things are a lot simpler and easier to grasp - a couple of attempts and they'll sink in. From there you can start worrying about the more complex stuff from my original comment
