Relationship is all about benefits and lust is all about biological attractions.. relationships are man made concepts while lust is natural.. actually now we are most honest with ourselves and with others then in the past ..
@@Suj599Lust is not the same thing as Biological attraction (that's infatuation) and relationships are not man made concepts, the first greatest command is to love God and the second greatest command is to love others, God created us to be in a relationship with him and others (not just in a romantic sense either but for example family and friends)

This is so true, I'd jump way too fast into physical an then feelings an then when we both realized we were both miserable an couldn't be fixed then only thing we did besides letting go of each other which we didn't want to do for a while was go back into the bed bedroom. On secular dating apps my intro message something like “are you a practicing Christian? …” and on Christian dating apps “what do they enjoy about church” they both help me filter out if this woman is lukewarm Christian or values the teachings of the Bible.

Prayer was the only thing that helped me move away from him. Even then he still did witchcraft against me and continually lied about it.
I ignored the Red flags and paid for it dearly. Now l pray 🙏 for him and any other evil people to be removed from my life as l know i don't deserve to live in misery. I pray others like me are able to get out of these awful situations Amen

Yeah, I've been struggling with this.
I know what the wrong way to date is but I don't understand what the alternative is.
I need the grace of God to keep me away from temptation and to guide me towards a lasting relationship.
The alternative is just to abstain and keep intimacy for marriage. Start knowing a person for who they are and get to know them the way you do with a friend. Have the conversations about your faith and find the middle ground. Learn to love them for who they are and strengthen each others faith. Start building up that relationship and spend more time together and figure out whether marrying that person is right.
See the world the process in this order: meet, sex, seriously date, marriage.
Whereas you should meet, seriously date and get to know them, get married, and then have sex. The pastor in the message is just trying to say that.

I need prayer for a Godly sign as to whether to stay in my relationship. We have one child and one older who isn't his. We live together and he has become my eldest child's father as her biological father is not around.
We love each other of course, I am Christian he is not. God has told me to stop having sex out of marriage. My partner is often nearly at breaking point because of this. Lack of intimacy is breaking everything for him. I feel like God has given me an insight in His plans which is to persevere until this man is ready to marry. But it's so hard as we're having constant problems and my partner says the route of these problems is the lack of intimacy. I need a clear sign - I need to know God wants me to continue in this because I'm ready to throw it away. I would be so so sad and our family would be torn apart.

That's a tough one, wish l could give you definitive advice, the Christian part of me would say preservere & try and explain thus to him. He's not going to die if he doesn't have sex with you. Plus what's with the lack of commitment when you have a child together? Are one or both wanting to "keep your options open" or is it doing the "modern" thing. Actually being married isn't that much more complicated than living together , plus you have God's blessings wgen you marry , God Bless
To be honest, I think you know the answer to your own question. He doesn't agree with your beliefs. There needs to be a leap of faith and walk with God, even if it's unknown. He does not want you to fail, but only to succeed and prosper.
God isn't the one telling you to stay and wait until he wants to marry you, God won't have you stay in sin where he cannot dwell. Deep down, I think you know this. I know it's hard, but as your boyfriend is pushing for sex, can you honestly say you won't eventually give in? Your salvation is more imporant than hoping for a man to marry you as you have a kid together. Sometimes walking away is just what's needed to save your salvation, and your inheritance in Christ.

I’m not sure if he means physical meaning sex first or just being attracted. But being attracted to someone is typically what happens because you see the person before you hear them. We can’t demonize attraction BUT you absolutely have to have the wisdom to go deeper. Many people have sex WAY too soon.

No thats not what he is saying. Physical attraction is part of the relationship but it should never be the only thing you think about in women. For example you got a really pretty girls phone number, send her a bible verse or smth see how she responds and if that response is smth that proves shes a Christian then thats a good start to figuring out her faith.

As a man being "friendzoned" on more than one occasion all through my late teens and 20s has made me completely bitter because it's nothing more than a sad reminder that I've never been able to succeed in having a successful relationship with a woman - I'm now in my 30s - Being single and in your 30s in the church is just depressing, part of the reason I've been watching online sermons at home for years now. The church has also failed to help people meet their future spouse so is it any wonder that more Christians have resorted to online dating apps :/ and then we can't forget men can't even safely ask a woman out anymore all thanks to the feminism / metoo movements
The church is failing singles atm, yes, but also people who are in a season(s) of singleness, needs to focus more on the relationship that they have with God, rather believing the lie of the enemy, that you're nobody or unsuccessful because you are single.
You still have a purpose/calling even in your singleness. You are not alone, and the Lord is always with you, but also its give you the time to find out what True Love is from the Father, than from the world or a human relationship. Its important to learn from him first, before anything.

I was praying he'd change but things never did. He's just saying you'll be able to get to know someone better when you're not founding your relationship in sexual attraction. That doesn't mean Christian couples who are dating for marriage won't determine they're not compatable, but the couples that do get married will have stringer marriages (which statistics reflect)
