Same here - 2017 CB500X - getting on and off in public is mortifying. Agree with you the best way to go is the "cowboy mount". But do you think we have just bought the wrong bike ? I am slowly coming to that conclusion. Shame the Himalayan is a great bike.
I really needed something that could handle crappy dirt trails so I could ride with my wife. Some days I feel like I’ve got the hang of it; it’s no problem. Other times, like when there’s a low spot on the side I’m trying to plant a foot, I wonder if I’ve made a mistake
you can get a lowering link, have an upholstery shop trim the seat AND wear thicker sole boots. this is my plan to conquer the himalayan. 😊
