When they say “You’ll appreciate it when you get older,” it never makes it better because looking younger when you’re 40 means you took care of your skin. Being told you look younger when you’re 20 is because you have s baby face and acne, not at all a compliment. I’m almost 21 and will soon be going into my career and fear not being taken seriously because I keep getting told I look 13 and it’s beyond discouraging!

Oh my god thank you for posting this video been searching for a video like this every year for the past 4 years since I always wanted to look older because of having a baby face. I am now 21 but people still think I am 16 and if I’m lucky 18 without makeup. I notice just this year there is more video on it compare to the same videos in the past year; love this people with baby face are coming forward to this taboo issue. No more how to look younger videos for a while now.
From when I was 16 to 18, I was going out with a guy the same age as me and he would always make comments in front of others saying that I look like I’m 12. It was so embarrassing for me. Until one time a friend of mine clapped back at him and said, “you should stop saying that because what does that say about you when you’re dating her?” He deffo shut up after that. I broke up with him after 2.5 years because not only was he abusive for most of our relationship, I also found out that he had been looking at pictures of little kids. He was a pedo. He’s now dating another girl that looks really young and is like 4’ something. I’m 23 now and married, but that whole thing really knocked my confidence.
You definetly look older in the end of the video. I'm 25 and naturally look 17-18. After make up and all getting dressed I look 20-23, not my age, but still AT LEAST 20 ;) So I totally understand your problem and people who say I should be happy because of this are just freaking me out.
I was 25 and 6 month pregnant at work.. someone asked me what high school I was in and if I was a senior 🤦. I'm 31 now and people think I'm 22. I hope by the time I'm 40 people think I'm at least 30 until then I'm going to try these tricks
I googled how to look older and here is why. Today, I was with my aunt and she asked if I wanted tea or coffee. When I answered coffee someone said "Oh, are you old enough to like coffee?"..... guys I'm 20.....
I never cared that I looked much younger until I was waiting outside a store and this high school boy hit on me- god I was so appalled and mortified! especially as I saw his friends watching on the street corner. 😂 I can look about 18 or 19 with makeup at best.
Girl I definitely feel ur pain! I'm 14 and people think I'm like 10/11 people are like "let me guess your in 5th or 6th grade?" And it is super disrespectful and rude!
I'm super excited to announce that I am working on opening an online clothing store for petite women and will be documenting the process of doing so on UA-cam. Stay tuned

It's frustrating, but it has its perks! When I was 18, I got movie tickets at a children's price. The guy just looked at my mom and me and went "1 child and 1 adult?" I just went "Yep!" and didn't even give him time to rethink and question it.
I teach gymnastic to 6 year old children and a few of them didn't believe I was the teacher because I look thirteen. I can feel everybody who relates to this video.
I got rejected from my fire fighting job because I was perceived as immature by the psychologist evaluating me. But in the beginning he even mentioned that I look younger. I did some research and his evaluation of me difinetly had something to do with the way I look. My baby face literally kept me from getting a good job. I'm so pissed!
This has also happened to me as a designer in the tech design industry- no one saw value in me because of my youthful appearance so I took everything I learned and started an e-commerce brand for short women, I currently design my packing, website and branding ! Moral of the story- bet on yourself when no one else will!!!
I am probably one of the older people watching this video. I am 35 and look 18. I find that when people find out my age (I don't tell people anymore, because it is actually rude to ask someone you just met their age), they go nuts. Like I am some kind of freak of nature or something. Many people my age lived a harder lifestyle drinking, smoking, not sleeping enough, so they look way older. Makeup does help, but ultimately I have had to except that people are just going to assume I am younger.
me too, I know it's been a while since you posted but I was so relieved to see another person in their 30s. I feel a bit ridiculous watching all of these MUAs in their early 20s trying to learn how to make myself look like an adult! People always say "you'll be grateful when you're older" but so far that hasn't happened and it's hard to be taken seriously when people think you're a teenager.
Like I hate when people say ur too young to wear makeup cause I dont always wear it to look older, I wear it cause I genuinely like it and think it's fun and I love experimenting with color.
Karly Koch girl same and at the end of the day it’s your life. You make the calls. Do what is going to make you happy. Makeup can be very artsy and a form of expression
I always look younger than I am, even today while being 26 when I am not wearing makeup people still think I am a teenager or in my early 20s. To be honest, I think it will only get better, when I look at my parents they hardly age now that they are in their 50s. They still look great.
This girl has not even a tenth of the subs she should have for the effort that goes into her video. Like that whole intro for only one thousand she deserves way more
#Gabaween Time Thank you for the support girl! I haven’t posted for a while but I’m working on some more content, currently editing a travel video to Italy !! So excited to create more videos 💕
Its great to look younger than your real age. You will look younger when you'll have "granny" age. When I was about to hit 30 people thought I was max 20. I'm happy for that. Its blessing also I've heard that people who look younger than in reality live longer
The way that i always try to look ar this is that if someone says that i look like "14" or even younger, it's probably about them being insecure of themselves. And if i rly do look that much younger I mean, great for me, then I have great genes so that i look like 20 when i'm 30😎 it is better this way than being 20 and told I look like 30/40🙄
All women in my family just are like this. Like my Mother is 45 and looks like max 32. And as for me, I can still look older with the way I dress up or how I put make up on.
First of all I know I’m young, I’m 13 but my aunt treats my like a 7 year old because I’m really short! My “older” cousins are like 14 15 years old and can walk off alone but no not me because “I’m a seven year old”. I’m not actually gonna follow this tutorial around them but I would love to try it!❤️❤️❤️
I know this video's old and you haven't made videos in a while, but it would probably be a good idea to post the makeup you use in your description. It would be helpful, especially for those of us who aren't great with makeup and have no idea what to get. I've steered clear of eyeliner for a long time because I never got the hang of it and it was a pain to use. But it looks so good on you. I'm almost 31 and it gets very depressing when people make comments about how young I look. Some people are very sweet in their comments. When I told someone my age, they said something like, "You wear it well." I don't mind comments like that too much. But just last week I needed to get on the base with my dad, I don't have a military ID, just a driver's license, and they don't usually ask for my ID anyway. But this time the guy asked my dad how old I was, dad said 30... then another guy that wasn't even checking our IDs said very loudly, "She doesn't look 30!" It made me feel like they probably thought I was 11 or 12, because when you're that young they don't need your ID. Gets frustrating. I've tried to let it go, but the older I get the more depressing it is. Thank you for your video, and showing how to apply the makeup, I really appreciate it. I've been trying to get more into makeup so that I could look older, just never knew how to apply it that well.
Does anyone have any other tips to boost self confidence? I’m 20 and I also have a baby face, in addition I’m on the shorter side so people think I’m younger than I am (it’s not fun)
I'm just here after a bouncer at a club didn't believe my REAL driver's license.. I'm 18 and people think I'm 15-16.. Like what, should I bring my passport next?
With my eyes being rounded and my mouth being small on my already round face it makes me look like I’m 14 at most even though I’m 21. I hate it cause I want to be seen as a woman in her 20’s just like you said. Not a kid. If only I had almond eyes and a wider mouth 🙄 Edit: it’s funny cause I have pretty low eyebrows which are considered a “low trust feature” and they can make me look older sometimes, but because my eyes are hooded I have to purposely lift my eyebrows up a bit because otherwise they’ll start to affect my eyesight a bit. And me making my eyebrows go up higher on my face only makes me look more babyfaced because my round eyes look even more open. So it’s a mess tbh 🤦🏻♀️. But what I feel really contributes to my babyfaceness the most is my small mouth. If it were bigger (wider) I’d look at least 17.
When I was 18, I wore a light blue maxi skirt and an orange shirt with a bike on it, and I got a discount at the movies because they thought I was a kid. Looking young has its benefits! 😂 I also had a baby face at the time, but I don’t anymore; I look my age now.😅
Oh my gosh thank you for this video I'm 17 and you dont know how many times I get asked were my parents are when I try and get a free sample at Costco 😣😅
I am 34 years old and people keep asking me if l am 20 or less and l hate that, I think l will try a makeup like maybe that could be a big change. Thank you for this video
My issue is I seriously don't know how to do makeup, despite the numerous tutorials I just never got into it. And now I really want to use it even if it's just to seem more professional. But every time I try, it just looks wrong you know? Ahhhh I wish someone could just find a look for me and teach me how to do it. T_T
I'm 18 and still get kids menus handed to me at restaurants. Also when I was enrolling for college classes, the woman thought my mom was the one there for classes and told me I looked too young for college. 😕
ok where the babyface squad gang at?!! it does get annoying when ppl mistaken me younger than my age & i'm in my mid 20s 😭

when you look 19 but you're actually 30 and have to find videos like this to help haha...
I am 26 years old and people think I'm like 14 to 15 and let me tell you ._. it makes dating super difficult T_T
I feel that! 21 trying not to look 13
Yup
Dating isn’t even a thing for me because of how young I look
Same.. I'm almost 23 and I look 13.
😢 I feel you, I have to proof I am not a minor, and get approached teens makes me pissed, I just want to look as ugly and uninteresting as I can because sometimes i just can't take it ☠️
Oh my god thank you for posting this video been searching for a video like this every year for the past 4 years since I always wanted to look older because of having a baby face. I am now 21 but people still think I am 16 and if I’m lucky 18 without makeup. I notice just this year there is more video on it compare to the same videos in the past year; love this people with baby face are coming forward to this taboo issue. No more how to look younger videos for a while now.
Jeyoo Hardaway yesss girl this video is for all my true 90’s kids haha
I’m 17 and I’m tired of people saying I look 12. I’ve actually had people tell me I look exactly the same as I did 5 years ago…😫
I’m 15 people think I’m 10😂
Andria Charalambous same :(
same
Same
Andria Charalambous saame 😞
Sameee 😢
You definetly look older in the end of the video.
I'm 25 and naturally look 17-18. After make up and all getting dressed I look 20-23, not my age, but still AT LEAST 20 ;)
So I totally understand your problem and people who say I should be happy because of this are just freaking me out.
I’m 22 and people think I look 16. It’s so embarrassing!! You’re really pretty! Thanks for the tips!!! :)
I was 25 and 6 month pregnant at work.. someone asked me what high school I was in and if I was a senior 🤦. I'm 31 now and people think I'm 22. I hope by the time I'm 40 people think I'm at least 30 until then I'm going to try these tricks
yess babyface gang!! it’s really irritating when I hang out with my friends and people ask us if I’m a younger sister/if my friend is babysitting me
I googled how to look older and here is why. Today, I was with my aunt and she asked if I wanted tea or coffee. When I answered coffee someone said "Oh, are you old enough to like coffee?"..... guys I'm 20.....
There isn't even like a minimum age to drink coffee
@@bvgs1388 yeah...but you usually dont like it as a kid
I’m 20 and ppl always think I’m 12. Even when i see myself in the mirror I think I look 14. I need to get better at doing makeup so I can do this 😂
I never cared that I looked much younger until I was waiting outside a store and this high school boy hit on me- god I was so appalled and mortified! especially as I saw his friends watching on the street corner. 😂 I can look about 18 or 19 with makeup at best.
I'm 23 people think I'm 15...
Same same
Girl I definitely feel ur pain! I'm 14 and people think I'm like 10/11 people are like "let me guess your in 5th or 6th grade?" And it is super disrespectful and rude!
I know this is three years ago but this makes me feel better. I get told that I look 15 and I’m 23!

Omg your natural face is so freaking sweet! I agree the make up makes you look older, but your bare face is uniquely gorgeous 😍
I teach gymnastic to 6 year old children and a few of them didn't believe I was the teacher because I look thirteen. I can feel everybody who relates to this video.
Same. I just turned 21 and yes people tell me I'm 15 lol
@@SaviiSmiles Thanks Savy. I really needed to hear that. I was feeling discouraged.
I'm nearing 30 and still need to show my ID D:
Thank you for this video, you are gorgeous!
I’m 22 and I get told I look 12. I’m also 4,11 so it makes it worse!
@@SaviiSmiles exactly, love you, and stay safe!
I always look younger than I am, even today while being 26 when I am not wearing makeup people still think I am a teenager or in my early 20s. To be honest, I think it will only get better, when I look at my parents they hardly age now that they are in their 50s. They still look great.
I'm 30 and people still think I'm a teenager even with loads of makeup. 😔
Me too... As I get older though I dont mind as much
CIci_02 Lay That's actually a good thing
@@poisoningthemselvesnowbegg8108 not always
I'm 19 and people often say I look 15. it's actually funny the look in their eyes when I tell them my age
I feel you, i’m 23 and 4’10 😂 so annoying !!!
I'm 14 and people think I'm 30 after this video. Thank you very much!
You are so pretty! People think I'm 12 all the time. Thanks!!
You strike me as the kind of person that has at least 500k subs. I think you so deserve more than 2k!
Great job! I would for sure try it
Omg i feel you girlll.... thats my everyday life.
Thank you for sharing this!! I’m 23 and people still ask me what high school I go to.
UR. SO. PRETTY. I'm shaking
great video! i'm interested in knowing what brushes you use though, thanks!
I stg she has the most beautiful smile, omg 🤩
omg, you're so sweet lol !!! Thanks girl :)
Thank you I’m 4”9 and people always tell me I look like a 12 year old .It’s kinda annoying but now know some really good tips thanks to you .
OMG YOU’RE SOOOO PRETTY
Thanks for this video! I’m 21 years old and a personal trainer and I feel like no one take me serious because I look 15
Kayla's Journey you are so welcome girl ! I definitely understand!!! I hope it helps!
Its great to look younger than your real age. You will look younger when you'll have "granny" age. When I was about to hit 30 people thought I was max 20. I'm happy for that. Its blessing also I've heard that people who look younger than in reality live longer
I'm 21 and the workers who card me when I buy alcohol always seem so shocked because I look 15-16. I just wanna look my age for once lol.
i'm 23 and could pass for 16 lol u savin my life
The way that i always try to look ar this is that if someone says that i look like "14" or even younger, it's probably about them being insecure of themselves.
I’m not actually gonna follow this tutorial around them but I would love to try it!❤️❤️❤️
I'm 18 and look like 13, people still dont take me seriously
i’m a junior and my neighbors thought i was entering 6th grade 🧍🏻♀️
God Bless everyone and God loves everyone Amen ❤️🙏🏽
Omgg your soo pretty
I’m 25 and people ask me if I like my “summer job” because they think i’m 13-16 😭😭
I am 20, one time I went to the store to get a DVD(FSK12) and they asked for my ID! Luckily I had the ID with me 😂
This really helps during job interviews lol
This is perfect for me, thanks! Great tutorial.
I've been trying to get more into makeup so that I could look older, just never knew how to apply it that well.
you are amazinggg
Does anyone have any other tips to boost self confidence? I’m 20 and I also have a baby face, in addition I’m on the shorter side so people think I’m younger than I am (it’s not fun)
Lmao everyone commenting the age they get mistaken for and their actual age, I’m just here to get into clubs lol
I'm just here after a bouncer at a club didn't believe my REAL driver's license.. I'm 18 and people think I'm 15-16.. Like what, should I bring my passport next?
iUniqueOrn no girl just a full face of makeup lol !! I feel you!
With my eyes being rounded and my mouth being small on my already round face it makes me look like I’m 14 at most even though I’m 21. I hate it cause I want to be seen as a woman in her 20’s just like you said. Not a kid. If only I had almond eyes and a wider mouth 🙄
Edit: it’s funny cause I have pretty low eyebrows which are considered a “low trust feature” and they can make me look older sometimes, but because my eyes are hooded I have to purposely lift my eyebrows up a bit because otherwise they’ll start to affect my eyesight a bit.
V L girllll !!!! I feel you. You can always get a good lip liner and just make your mouth look a bit wider with it!
Wow, she is gorgeous
When I was 18, I wore a light blue maxi skirt and an orange shirt with a bike on it, and I got a discount at the movies because they thought I was a kid. Looking young has its benefits! 😂 I also had a baby face at the time, but I don’t anymore; I look my age now.😅
I’m 25! I’m starting to look more like I’m in my 20s finally! I got asked if I was in high school all through college !!
Oh my gosh thank you for this video I'm 17 and you dont know how many times I get asked were my parents are when I try and get a free sample at Costco 😣😅
Some girls in my year (13) look so much older than me so I’m defo going to start using some of you tips.
Finally someone understands me...
Thank you! You're awesome!
I'm 18 and still get kids menus handed to me at restaurants. Also when I was enrolling for college classes, the woman thought my mom was the one there for classes and told me I looked too young for college. 😕
Here because I am tired of being called 12 when i am actually 18
I’m 20 and the other day I got asked if I was old enough to get a target rewards card 😅 oof
