I'm so glad I found someone who not only has hooded eyes, but also that little dip in the middle where it hoods a bit more. I can't wait to try these! I have spent years trying tutorials from many different "hooded eye" videos. Thank you, Smitha!
I love how authentic it is! You don't put filters on your face and show the actual results instead sugar coating it. Wow! It's super inspiring. And you do the makeup so well! 🌺
I never knew why winged eyeliner looked bad on me. Just realised it's cuz I have hooded eyes. I never knew because my eyes are big and I have enough lid space. You encouraged me to try smoking out using black eyeshadow and honestly, my eyes have never looked better! So thankful!
Can we take a minute to appreciate the fact that she didn't have to stretch her skin and the liner still turned out perfectly? Cuz I have to stretch my skin in all sorts of ways to get it to look good and its still messy
if you stretch your skin, when it comes back in its position, the line will always be a weird shape. You just just press one finger near the end of your brow to avoid the skin from moving too much instead. Yes, that is much easier said than done
I stretch mine too. Otherwise I get the liner all over my lashes and then the mascara won't go on and clogs up. Mine are too baggy in the outer corners. Far more than hers. Don't know how to fix it 😔
As much as I love precision eyeliner looks, I've never liked this look on myself since I have hooded eyes. However, thank you so much showing the smokey corner. It's soooo simply and this look definitely works for me 😍👍
Thank you! I've tried for years to do my eyeliner right and never knew my problem was hooded eyes! Thank you for all these amazing tips to enhance my beautiful eyes?
same here - and when I first started doing my eyeliner I kept wondering why my eyeliner never looks the same on both side XD and why I can never see the wing XDD (because it was all hidden under the hood which I didn't know back then)
Ugh, thank you so much for this, I feel like every other tutorial makes it out to be this HUGE deal, which eyeliner shouldn't be and I shouldn't have to feel bad about my hooded eyes. This was so quick, easy, and relatable to what I need.
I have hooded eyes and once I went to shop to buy eyeliner, the sales girl was saying you have such a wrinkle eyelid when I was only 28. That time I didn't knew that I have hooded eyes. Now, with ur help I can work with my wrinkle eyelid 😊
This really helped out alot. I didn't even realize that my eyes were hooded. I would try to do eyeliner as thin as possible and it would look so thick and these tips really helped to make it look better for my eye look 💛

Not only are my eyes very, very hooded, I also have super curly lashes that almost curl back to touch my lids.. It's always a struggle for me to get a liquid liner to glide easily across my upper lashline. SOme of these tips will be lifesavers as I can work with my lower lid. You are a magician, Smitha! Finally someone who actually has hooded eyes!! Very beautiful liners but sadly my eyes are even more hooded than hers and even adding a super thin line makes my eyes look small and tired :(
Stick with the tightline....it's what I have to do with my small, hooded eyes. A very nice, natural look I wear everyday. I get to have fun with a variety of colors like plum, deep teal, bronze, topaz, charcoal, taupe, dark brown, but avoid inky shades like black and navy bec they're too harsh on me.
Literally one of the best eyeliner tutorials yet. I have very downturned upper corners with a pronounced, long crease. I'm going to try that reverse smokey eyeliner, for sure
I love the way you filled this and that it doesn’t last unnecessary long ! Does anyone else also have even more hooded eyes / bigger hoods (no idea how to call this haha) - like when she says to draw the line under the edge of the hood, for me that doesn’t work because the edge is so low the wing would be horizontal
I've been discovering most of these by experiment ever since I started doing makeup, the reverse smokey is by far the best one for me! My lower eyelashes are thin, short and pale and are barely visible even with mascara on, so the reverse smokey gives my eyes a more pronounced shape ✨ I also started doing a double wing, one goes up and the other goes down, it creates a more dramatic look Love the video! I'll try some of the previously unknown to me options you mentioned
I've subscribed to her because of her other hooded eyes eyeliner technique and, maaaan... I wished I knew this channel before. This kind of eyes is really tricky, so I usually only curl my eyelashes & tightline. My eyes are even more hooded than Smitha but her tricks really helps me to diversify my techniques.
