I get so excited for all your garden tours. This is just beyond gorgeous. Words truly cannot explain how happy it makes me to see a garden like this. Lilies remind me of my grandma, and seeing how you have so many is just wonderful! I hope everything continues to flourish through the year!
I think the purple Gladiola in is called Pessos and the pink gladiola is called Gronzy, this is based here in Canada. The garden is so lush and beautiful
Beautiful, you clearly have worked tirelessly. Gardening has been a challenge this year as I’m caring full-time for my almost 3 year old granddaughter, and part time for my almost 2 year old grandson. Many things have returned to the garden without even needing my assistance & looks beautiful- praise God! I did some late season, seating of zinnias and hoping for the best. Please say a prayer for me Danielle, & all flower friends- my landlord is threatening to make us move, she does this every year and it’s most alarming. I know God will see me through- life is incredibly challenging right now. Thank you for bringing a slice of peace to my day.!!!!
Danielle, lovely tour! Thank you. I really appreciate your mix of flowers. Planting your gladiolus interspersed among other plants is genius. I feel foolish not thinking of trying that before. You can be certain I will! ❤
Ahhh!! I just want to roll around on that lamb’s ear. I love growing flowers and vegetables… but there’s something about that SOFT fluffy texture that makes my heart flutter.
I’m so happy you shared Ted’s choice Gladiola… I was going to purchase it but like you, I was kind of unsure of how it would look in person..but now I’m definitely going to order it next season! Same here- I left my diva dahlias in the ground and they survived!
Amazing!!! Here in southern Brazil (subtropical/moderate), I’m gearing up for spring. While I can plant seeds outside almost year round, I prefer the temperature control of doing it inside. Every horizontal surface in the house has a tray of seedlings on it! 😅 So inspiring to see the inspiration and abundance of your garden! Thank you 🌿
Hi Danielle, that was such an enjoyable tour of your garden, I think the deep purple gladiolus is called purple flora and if it is you can plant the bulbs every 7 to 10 days for an extended season. The other darker pink gladiolus might be called Gronzy. I love your rink rose lily the best it's just so beautiful! I had a double pink oriental lily pop up in my garden that I forgot I had planted because it was taken over by tall phlox. I was so happy to see it again! I'd love to see the lily you mentioned in your parent's planter! I think your garden looks amazing and the bouquets you put together for the stand are just perfect!! 😍
Ted's favorite gladiolus is absolutely stunning. I have a hibiscus which has mutated flowers of pink and apricot....its awesome too. Your hydrangeas are massive! I don't usually like lillies but the Rose lillies are very pretty. I think both of the Rose lillies look good and would be very nice planted together. Lovely walk❤Jo.
Love the saving grace, they are beautiful!! The gladiolus, teds favorite is stunning! I would be in heaven if I had your garden. Thank you for the lovely video.
Beautiful garden! I just love lilies and gladiolus! I planted Jewel of Opar (thanks to you) last year and have them in random places around my garden. No complaints!
Wow! So beautiful! You made me want to grow gladiolus again! So beautiful! I loved both rose lilies but I think the double pink is my favorite. Those lilies!!! Casa Blanca is a show stopper!!! They are all so lovely Danielle! I get so excited when I see a new video from you! You made my day!
Everything so beautiful! Great advancements have been made in your garden since I first started watching your channel - well done! Ur Lilies oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo soooooooooooooo beeeeautiful!!!!!! Thank you.
Love love the purple glads. I wish I had more sun in my garden! All the lilies are amazing but really love the ones in your final shot showing the bouquets in your flower stand.
What a beautiful garden tour! I live in PA also. I watch your videos and didn’t know you lived in PA, too. I live in Central PA. Thank you for sharing!🌺🌸🌼
Your garden is absolutely stunning! July is a tough month here in Raleigh zone 7b. Heat & humidity really take its toll but at least the Japanese beetles are finally gone.
You garden looks beautiful, Danielle!! I am so glad you mentioned deadheading of sweet william, I grew some from seed last year and they had amazing blooms on it bit now it all went to seed. I'm glad there is a way to prolong those beautiful blooms 😀
Hi Danielle, Thank you for your wonderful videos and recommendations. I've found your gardening journey to be so informative and I love your gentle spirit. I too really needed to be reminded to look at what's going well in the garden rather than to only notice all that still needs to get done. Thank you. In this video you named so many plants and varieties. I thought that there might be a list in the notes though that would be a lot of work for you. Do you have any plant lists in any other videos that I could reference? I'm new to your station and have probably missed a lot of information.
Hi, I think it would be really nice to replace your grass pathway fine stone/gravel. It would make an amazing contrast with your beautifully planted beds. I’ve seen gardeners in the UK lately switch to gravel as the weather warms. Probably with a lot of effort, you could eventually get the grass to work; but the gravel would be so much easier, beautiful against the bed edges, functional, & you vould put your attention to the beautiful planted beds…. Maybe transition to a stone walkway, and then grass in the areas where it grows more freely 😉
Your garden just keeps getting more and more spectacular. I don’t have enough lilies and am putting them on my wish list for next year. In my experience, Black Beauty is less upright (even in sun) and likes to lean on other plants.
Lovely tour of your beautiful garden it really is looking amazing with all the lovely lillies ,stargazer and casa blanch a lovely combination . Just a thought a thought on the walkway into garden, how about a flagstone path interplaneted with creeping thyme. It is your entrance into the garden and sounds that it is heavily used ,perhaps pick up the stone used elsewhere in the garden. My daughter and I watch all your videos and enjoy mix of garden tours ,how to, and outings to botanical gardens. Thankyou for all the time you put into your videos so enjoyable. Happy Gardening.
Rabbits are eating my lilies down. They often “cut” them down and just leave them on the ground without eating them. Do you ever deal with rabbit pressure on your lilies? I am having to move all my lilies to the backyard which is fenced. Thanks for the beautiful tour.
I'd love to see a video just showing all your flower stand bouquets and arrangements. Even if you're just showing pictures like you did at the end here. "A year in bouquets", how awesome would that be?? 😊
Your garden is so beautiful Danielle💖 Those Lilies and Gladiolas are amazing! I wish I could grow Lilies here in 10a I assume that they need a frost. All I get from them is a small green stock. Best wishes to you😘🤗
Your lilies are so beautiful! Well, your whole garden is spectacular! I was wondering about the red lily beetle, has it been in your area? I’m in Michigan, Detroit burb, and the beetle has been really bad for a couple of years, which has had me really discouraged. This year is not so bad? Really interested in what’s going on with this bug! Thanks! Bev
Danielle I love the Jewels of Opar sprinkled in with the Lambs Ear. I have it popping up everywhere. I think it's such a lovely plant. I have a question. Do you trim your Lemony Lace Elderberry? I planted one in my garden for some structure and it has gotten huge taking over a big portion of my garden.
I love your garden, I just found you this spring and so happy I did! Say, do you dig up your gladiolus in the fall and replant or do you just let them go?
The gladiolus i have the same ones , well they look similar I love them so vibrant. And can we talk about the saving grace seed babies I love how they are all similar but like u said different
You always inspire me. Do you succession plant gladiolas? How do you cut the lillies to put in bouquets? The main stem has so many flowers, but the side stems with a flower seem too short.
I had a bad experience w/tiger lilies years ago and swore off all lilies. Then your video inspired me to try again, the white and maroon ones to me were so beautiful in your garden. This year they bloomed for the first time. I especially loved the white ones. I had a lot of issues with aphids and bunnies. Do you spray them, if so what brand and how often?
Please help if you can. I noticed your agastache. My Anise hyssop has started falling over and looking worn out and like it needs to be cut back. It resembles salvia that needs to be cut back. I have an important guest arriving mid-September and want the yard to look good. I can't find anything about cutting back this plant and getting a second flush of blooms. Have you had any experience with this?
I love your gardens. Can you help me please. I live in Maine zone 5a and am moving the end of July just to the next town over. I have lived in my home for many years and have some plants that I'm not leaving especially my catming. What is the best way to move them? Should I fertilize them? What do you think I should put them in? Thank you for any advice. Have a wonderful day.
I would get as much as the roots as you can and place them in a good garden mix with potting mix in pots. Once you plant in your new space then fertilize.
@@jeanniecollier6763 Thank you so much. I have lived in one spot for so long and never had to move plants except from one spot to another. I have so many plants that were gifts from my husband or just my favorites that I'm not leaving them. Of course I will buy new after we get settled. Thanks again.
Everything is absolutely beautiful. All of the hard work you have put in really shows. Thanks for sharing all of the beautiful flowers with us. ❤
Thank you for the tour.
Your garden is so beautiful!

Beautiful job and hard work comes with flowers.
Your garden is beautiful! Thanks for the tour!
Stunning!

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻so gorgeous!!! I both white and pink rose lilies.❤
Beautiful tour! Could you please share on your next video the depth of your beds along the main flower walk?
I’m so thankful that you posted this. It really brightened an otherwise not-so-bright day. ❤
Summer Sunset. Perfect.
It might be Lumiere glad from Jung seed. I ordered this one this year so we will see. Love the color.
I think Editha is gorgeous!! 💐👏🏻🥰
Love these tours . Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!

That Gladiolus looks like "Anouck", I used to have a few in my yard...Beautiful tour!
How about red and white clover instead of grass?
How is the new hedge doing since being planted. Any struggle id love to try that hedge in my sisters new home . Would love any tips .
Beautiful!
I really love the fresh green of the hydrangeas. For some reason I went off hydrangeas for a while but now they are capturing my interest again.
Love it very inspiring garden, thanks for sharing
I always love your garden tours! Absolutely beautiful and love the variety of plants you have.
Thank you for a beautiful garden tour, I love the hydrangeas and Dhalia

Im trying to focus on the positive in my garden too right now- between the japanese beetles, the deer & the heat, my garden is looking rough!
Loved seeing some of your bouquets at the end. Would love to see more as well as how you put them together.
Everything so beautiful! Great advancements have been made in your garden since I first started watching your channel - well done! Ur Lilies oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo soooooooooooooo beeeeautiful!!!!!! Thank you.
Lovely, thanks for sharing.
Don't worry about the traffic. Doesnt't bother me at all, because it is realistic and natural. It's better than cheesy background music.
Love love the purple glads. I wish I had more sun in my garden! All the lilies are amazing but really love the ones in your final shot showing the bouquets in your flower stand.
Your garden is so beautiful! We've had a lot of rain this month and my garden is looking tattered. Have a wonderful day!
Beautiful flowers all around! Another good reason to grow crocosmia is that hummingbirds love it!
agree -total magnet for hummingbirds
Sonia from Atlanta Georgia, love watching your beautiful garden, both rose Lillys are beautiful
Amazing garden, scectacular 😍 Best regards from Poland

Danielle, Such a pretty garden. Especially like the purple glads![
Such a lovely tour! I am definitely going to try those Ted's Favorite!! What a show-stopper!
Very beautiful!
Just breathtaking! While going through your original dahlia , you mentioned to add soap. Why? What is the ingredient to make?
i LOVE all your lilies! Ramona is my favorite of your rose-lilies. I have Samantha, so far. They're almost ready to bloom.

My Black Beauty do well in morning shade.

Your jewels of opar would look beautiful mixed with your double lilies
Your gardens look beautifully arranged! How are you keeping your lilies free from the red lily beetle?

Ah....Danielle - your are an angel 😊
I love that gladiola 'Ted's Favourite'. Looks like rhubarb and custard to me.
I'd love to see a video just showing all your flower stand bouquets and arrangements. Even if you're just showing pictures like you did at the end here. "A year in bouquets", how awesome would that be?? 😊
Beautiful garden. Want to grow gladiolus. Any advice. Thank you

The lily beetles have won. I’ve pulled out my Lillies. Miss them horribly. Zone 6b Connecticut.
How are you with planting lillies with having cats?
Daniele your garden is amazing..and i love edetha.i need to get that type.❤
Danielle I love the Jewels of Opar sprinkled in with the Lambs Ear. I have it popping up everywhere. I think it's such a lovely plant. I have a question. Do you trim your Lemony Lace Elderberry? It will take well to trimming. You can prune it to be smaller or limb it up to look like a multi-trunked tree.
@@ritasicari7518 thank you! It's very pretty .....but very large. :)
So beautiful
Beautiful! What is the best source for gladioli?
Sooo beautiful
❤❤❤
How do you keep your lilies from being eaten by deer? Do deer eat gladiolus
Did you have an issue with grubs this year? That’s why all my grass is gone.
Love these 'Ted' Gladioli ❤️
How are your phlox not eaten by deer? I drench mine with liquid fence and they still get devoured.
We have those tarnished bugs here as well. What treatment do you use on them? They don’t appear to have a natural predator.
you are doing good👍
You always inspire me. Do you succession plant gladiolas? How do you cut the lillies to put in bouquets? The main stem has so many flowers, but the side stems with a flower seem too short.

Don t you guys have fences ?
