I am so happy I found this video. I am planting gardens on a new property. I am 71 and have had gardens for years, but my space lacked something interesting to work with and I worked full time and didn’t have the time needed to create what I was looking for. Now……our new property has provided so much for me to work with, including a ready made rock wall that our contractor did when clearing the property. It was a farmer’s property line that already had a good start. The large boulders the contractor added make it look like a lake shoreline. Your gardens are absolutely lovely and just my style. I hope you continue to share any future progress. You have the perfect voices for listening to and a passion for your creations. Looking forward to seeing more of you both in the future.
Just found you! I am impressed and envious in a good way! Your garden is so beautiful! I am in South Jersey…by Avalon and not far from Cape May. I wish I could do a yard so gorgeous…trying😩
Hello, I enjoyed your garden tour. It looks amazing, and such a great job getting it to that state in such a short time. It looks like what I envisage for my own garden and what I am working towards. I am in year 9 of my garden and it is not as lush as yours yet. I look forward to watching all your next videos. Thanks
You have done a wonderful job with your garden. My favorite is the area around your 3-tiered fountain. Love the mass plantings. Thank you so much for taking the time to video tape and post your garden tour. It looks fabulous!
Loved your garden tour, it was very beautiful and you did a great job identifying your plants. I am in upstate N. Y., in the Finger Lakes region, which affords an opportunity to grow a variety of plants. This past winter I left my Dahlia tubers in the ground, not out of choice, and surprisingly a good number survived and sprouted healthy and strong. I hope to see more videos, keep growing and showing! Thank you, Gail
Thank you for sharing your stunning garden with all of us. I also live in upstate New York in the Corning area so it’s such a joy to see another garden in the same zone. I truly enjoy the thoughtfulness of all of your planting.
Just wonderful all of it. In Upstate New York too. Zone 5A Japanese Beetles are awful right now. Do lots of damage every year. Love the look, texture and color you have created.
That was a consideration actually. Right behind it we have a Lemony Lace elderberry too. I think the potential size of the black lace is what holds us back. When the sand cherry comes out we will need to do a little reworking anyways. Thanks!
I just found your channel today and embarked on my latest binge watch! You both have an amazing sense of color, structure, placement and design. Perfection! I'd have to win the lottery to get all the plants that I have fallen in love with. I slowly add maybe half a dozen every year along with annuals. I'm teaching myself to propagate and not being afraid to ask other gardeners if I can take a snip! Have fiskars, will travel! We all love Garden Answer but it's nice seeing a beautiful garden in a normal residential setting like most of us have. I'm in New England, 6A, so it's enjoyable to see how beautiful everything's working for you in nearby NY state. You guys are amazing!
I really enjoy your videos. So glad I stumbled upon you recently here on youtube while researching something about hydrangeas. ... Also, I think you two treat each other so kindly and that is actually also really nice to watch. Greetings from Germany!
I can’t believe you guys have never gardened before you’re doing an amazing job!! I have been growing flowers for years however I just started in a new garden last year that I plant half vegetable and half flowers…. You guys have inspired me to go buy more flowers ! 🌸 I’m so glad I found this video. I hope you post more updates. You would be Quite surprised how much a garden can change and you not even realize it because you see it every day…..
I’m new subscriber, great garden you guys are maintaining. I know it needs lot of energy, passion, time and money to maintain this kind of beautiful garden.
I’m new to gardening and loved your video! Thank you for giving the names as you walked along. I took notes and pulled out crayons to illustrate. Starting from scratch is a puzzle! Thanks again, Mary
Just beautiful. I have tears in my eyes! You've done a wonderful job creating and caring for your garden. The video showcased it to perfection. Thanks guys!
Your garden oozes elegance and love. Very beautiful - I so enjoyed watching. Now going back to digging large holes for the last 2 of 4 yew shrubs I am planting to create a little screen. Love to you both from England🇬🇧XX
how beautiful!! I cant believe its only a few yrs old and that you have only been gardening a few years.. It reminds me of an English garden with all the plants touching each other (im English living in America so this does my heart good) and the fact that you remember all the names!! beautiful job!
This should be a Better Homes and Gardens “ Garden of the Year”! Absolutely beautiful design …and you guys should be proud of yourselves…..a lot of work and the result is just amazing!! 🪷🌺🌹🎉🎉👏👏👏💕❤️💕
Omg so pretty! I'd love to see you guys putting down new mulch or training the "s" shape for your climbing roses so they have maximum blooms, I could literally watch a video of dead heading. This garden is loveable and I hope my garden looks half as nice
You two have a very beautiful garden and should be proud. My husband and I are too just making new gardens and I am glad I came across your channel. It could not have come at a better time as we are working on a new garden and seeing your garden gives me inspiration for that spot. Thank you and I look forward to seeing further videos. Beautiful.
This is awesome. I had to laugh midway and almost started the video over. You guys are pros at gardening not new at this at all. This is over the top. The spruce tree is to die for. Thanks for sharing your garden. Also thanks for knowing the names of all of this goodness. I can’t wait to see the next video.
OMG…. Thank goodness someone else in 5b & I’m in the capital region of New York with a new garden only 3 years old! We have horrible clay soil so I have to move slow in planting! I’m so glad I found your channel! Just a beautiful garden!
I was 5b in upstate NY 18 years ago. Now I am 8 A in super hot east Texas. OMG. It was so lovely to see your 5b garden. Your gardens are just stunning! I sure do miss peonies.
Hello from California (zone 9b). What a georgous garden!! And beautiful landscape!! So glad I found your channel. I will be converting my lawn to nature friendly garden so name of plants on this video really helps me for selecting plants for my own. Thank you so much!! Looking forward for your next video.
I’m so impressed and in awe of your garden! The varieties of plants and flowers are amazing! I am looking for ideas for my gardens and you guys gave me some great ideas! Thank you for sharing your garden with us . 🌼🌸🌺

That is so sweet. How wonderful that you have a rock wall to work with. We would love to bring in bigger boulders but the cost is a little crazy!!
Just found you! I am impressed and envious in a good way! Your garden is so beautiful! I am in South Jersey…by Avalon and not far from Cape May. I wish I could do a yard so gorgeous…trying😩

It’s amazing how different the winters can be. We’ve had gladiolus come back a second year before. Thanks for watching!
Well done video & beautiful garden! Thanks for adding the plant names on screen.
My pleasure 😊. There’s a learning curve but I’ll get the hang of it. If you ever have a question about a plant name please don’t hesitate to ask.

Wonderful! Possible replacement for ailing sand cherry- try black lace elderberry: great deep purple foliage and early summer blooms.
That was a consideration actually. Right behind it we have a Lemony Lace elderberry too. I think the potential size of the black lace is what holds us back. When the sand cherry comes out we will need to do a little reworking anyways. Thanks!
