Ha ha! I had to laugh at your comment regarding your 1990 shirt because I can relate. Flowers and art supplies over clothes any day. My family doesn’t appreciate thin bare clothes... although I have one good outfit to go to town in. 😂😂 Your garden is absolutely gorgeous. 💕🇨🇦
Your videos are literally sheer pleasure! Your beautiful garden is so natural and yet ethereal. I think it must reflect your soul. The hydrangeas are beautiful.
Danielle, I have to say, because of this video, I bought about 6 more Limelight Hydrangeas. I already had 2, but I love them so much and think they give your garden an ethereal feeling. You have a GREAT eye for color. Look forward to seeing more. ❤️
I love your gardens with all the hydrangeas. Just gorgeous. This is the 3rd year for my Bobos - and now I just want to plant hydrangeas everywhere! Your comment about having 1 old jean shirt and more hydrangeas 🤣 made me chuckle. I totally agree - I skip lunch to have more plant money😊
We only have three! They are Endless Summer big leaf hydrangeas ; The Original, PopStar, and Summer Crush. I bought them all on clearance, and though they’re alive I am not sure they are thriving in my Zone 4b 🇨🇦 garden. You’ve encouraged me to try harder to find them the perfect spot so they can do their best! 🌱
You’ve inspired me to plant more varieties of Hydrangea! I have started some babies from my one Hydrangea, from a video you demonstrated the process, that I’m excited about.
Hello Danielle, around minute 4:30 you asked whether the hydrangea was a ‘Little Quick fire’ and it is. I have 3 in my own yard. Your yard is gorgeous as always.
Last year in the fall, I planted 8 hydrangeas. Your hydrangeas inspired me. I have Quickfire Fab, Strawberry Sundae, Vanilla Strawberry, and Jetstream oak leaf. I love them all. I enjoyed your furry friends, but missed Grace.
a tip from a carpenter who was working on my deck, he said to burn the cardboard trays that coffee shops give out when you buy multiples. Same as egg cartons. I put a skewer through it, light it, then blow out the flame so that it just smolders. I stick the skewer in a glass jar to suspend the tray. And it burns for half an hour or so, and the mosquitoes stay away. Probably noxious smoke, but it gives you some reprieve from the bugs.
Gorgeous! Love the tour! Not sure if you are allowed but when we got chickens our bug problem was greatly reduced. We mainly keep them in a run too. Not to mention they are super entertaining and we get fresh eggs! ❤
I planted 4 varieties of hydrangeas last fall for the fist time. Always thought they needed acidic soil, here in Utah it’s neutral to alkaline. I put in 3 Gatsby Gal Oakleafs, 2 Little Lime Punches, (my favorite so far), 1 Quick Fire Fab (2nd favorite) and 1 Bobo. Our extreme dry humidity and hot temps is stressing the oakleaf type, it’s in a bit more sun than I think it can handle, blooms are browning. Sure adds interest in my redone front yard.
What a beautiful tour! I love hydrangeas, you can never have enough! Your descriptions of the blooms was so helpful. Sometimes its hard to keep them all straight. My favorite hydrangea that i left behind at our last house when we moved was Strawberry Vanilla. It was a beautiful panicle that would have blooms of shades of pink in an ombre effect upbto white at the tips. Absolutely stunning!
I have 130 some hydrangeas...my favorite are the invincibelle ruby, fire light and pinky winky. Yours are just gorgeous thank you for sharing your beautiful gardens.I am in south central pa..
Get a thermacel. It's a small butane powered mosquito repelling gadget. You can get small ones that you can hook to your belt, or stationary ones to set on a table. It takes about 15 minutes and no mosquitoes within 12-15 feet. We live in east Texas where it's hot and humid, and we've used them for years. They work!
We have a small garden in zone 5 Iowa. About 1/4 acre. We have 11 hydrangeas and a lot of shade. Smaller hydrangeas seem to be working into the garden well. Firelight tidbit, three Bobo, three tiny tough stuff, one little quick fire. Then I have two hydrangeas that are my anchor hydrangeas, which I may be changing out for limelight prime. One incrediball that anchors in the corner of our property.
Your garden is so beautiful and inspiring. I have a garden that may be half the size of yours and it is quite a lot work. So I can only imagine the hard work you put into your garden. ❤️
Hydrangeas are my favourite too. I just love them. One of my fave’s is a Phantom Hydrangea. It blooms a little earlier than the Limelight and the bloom heads are more rounded, not quite so cone shaped.
Yes hydrangeas are my fave too! I love your collection. I live in the south now for two years and from NE Ohio. I have Little Quick Fire, Little Lime Punch, and Little Hottie planted around my house. I have taken cuttings and hopefully I can be successful and grow more. I am using your water method for my cuttings. I also have some pink macrophyllas in containers. Your garden is just stunningly beautiful! ❤😊😍
Hi Danielle I love hydrangeas too, definitely can’t have too many. I happy that you love the Hydrangea 'Incrediball' as I have bought some which were tiny and I’ve been growing them on and plan to plant out in autumn. Your garden is looking great Best wishes Jenny
I only have 9 hydrangeas. Mine don’t seem to grow as big as yours or have as many flowers. Can you talk about what kind of fertilizer and or compost you use on your plants? How often you fertilize?
I absolutely adore your garden, that is my dream space. I have 4 hydrangeas altogether, a blue/purple lace cap which is my favourite. I have bought an Annabelle this year and after a big bout of rain I am noticing how floppy it is. Last I have one called switch which is only a foot tall at the moment. I hope you have a great day 😊
Love all your hydrangeas. I have two Limelights that the deer usually prune for me but this year they’ve grown almost as tall as yours. Also have two oak leaf hydrangeas - love their fall color. Thanks for the tour.
I love everything you do, Danielle! Your garden design, flower arrangements, your teaching, and even your cooking/baking. I wish you could help me design my garden!
How beautiful! Thank you for taking us on a wonderful tour of your garden. I agree, I would rather have one denim shirt and multiple hydrangreas as well.
Absolutely beautiful ❤❤❤ I have 2 firelight,2 lime light,2 little lime, candy c., phantom, limelight lemon yellow, grandiflora, aspera hot chocolate I ❤ them all
They're all amazing.. I really miss seeing the blue and purple ones you used to feature in your magical garden. Thank you for another informative and inspiring video
I really needed this today. I purchased a Pinky Winky yesterday & haven't placed it yet. Today I've been putting a closet organizer together. So you came to my rescue while taking a break.
I never liked hydrangeas, but you are changing my mind. I especially like the ones that go pink. As for bugs, I have a Dyna Trap...it helps, especially if you use the mosquito lure...it looks like a tea bag, very stinky (wear gloves), put it down in the trap...seems to dramatically increase the number of bugs you catch. The Dyna Trap is electric, so, cord! I got it from QVC.
I love hydrengas, too. I live in zone 8b. I am limited to other hydrengas I would love to have in my garden. I love, love the hydrenga room. I love the humming bird arbors. Your garden is so beautiful!
Love your videos! I have learned so much from you. I currently have 23 hydrangeas. Many different varieties, but 6 of those are my favorite hydrangea, Bobo by Proven Winners. Love that hydrangea so much, and I plan to add more. Thank you for sharing your garden and knowledge!
Thank you Danielle! I love seeing your hydrangeas and of course, the kitties. I planted Proven Winners Tuff Stuff Ah-Ha last fall and it came back in my 5b/6a Northeast Ohio garden. It's a really sweet little hydrangea.
I love, love all your hydrangeas! I like that you talked about each one also and told what you liked and disliked about them. I am so envious! Wish I had more sun. I have nine hydrangeas and want to get more. I agree….never enough. Your garden is SO BEAUTIFUL! I agree that Incrediball is much better than Annabelle. I have both. I just bought a BOBO panicle hydrangea. I also love Ruby Slippers. It’s a dwarf oak leaf hydrangea. The flowers smell great and are so pretty and it has great fall color. ( I am in zone 5 Illinois) Japanese beetles have never bothered my hydrangeas probably because they are so focused on my cannas.😩 I have a huge open bloomed hydrangea….like Hoss halo….but I can’t remember it’s name. It must be 10 feet tall and is covered in bees when it’s in bloom and it has a lovely fragrance. I have several Endless summer hydrangeas….which I want to replace with a smooth or panicle hydrangea. We call Endless Summer Endless Bummer in my garden club because it blooms so poorly in Illinois. Thank you for the hydrangea tour. It was awesome!
I've lost count of my hydrangea! Yours are gorgeous and I love the way you made rooms. I'm having an issue with black spots on my leaves for the past two years and was hoping you could give some advice in a future walk. Special fertilizer maybe? Thanks for sharing your lovely garden❤
Hi Danielle, oh I just love all those big beautiful hydrangeas in your garden. I've just discovered little quick fire and I love it!! I have I have six blue hydrangeas and two pink ones, sorry I don't know the names of them. Great tour! Great job filming! Did you say your putting in a train? I saw the video of the one you put in already and I love it!! Thanks for this beautiful video 😍

I am relocating them to a sunnier space this fall. I notice you have a fair amount of shade .I would love to know how you found their "happy place". Should a panicle bloom first year? Thank you again for sharing your beautiful garden.
I just love touring through your garden!!!! My hydrangea obsession has been growing and I am most excited about my Incrediball Blush hydrangea. It's SO tiny right now but I'm sure will be worth the wait when it's mature and full of blush pink blooms. Can't wait to see what hydrangea you plant next :) !
Your garden is beautiful! I love all the hydrangeas. I want to add more to my garden. I currently have 2 little lime. I have 2 little Hattie and 2 vanilla strawberry to add when it cools off a bit
I have an old hydrangea that I planted years ago but I don't know what it is. I have Incrediball, Fire light, Candelabra, Bobo's, Endless Summer the Original and just added Wee Bit Giddy. I wish I could add more but I don't have any space left. Bonny
So incredibly beautiful - as per usual!!! Have you ever considered replacing that pathway in the driveway garden? Stone would look so lovely and align with your more natural aesthetic elsewhere in the garden.
OMG! You are toooo funny! My friend, and I go to the nursery and joke about it being porn for us! I have a huge hedge of Oakleaf hydrangea that is absolutely gorgeous! I have another set of little limes. And a corner filled with Annabella’s but they flop! It is very hard for me to take them out though because blooms are gorgeous and big. You have inspired me to make another head of fire light hydrangea will see how it turns out.
Danielle, your garden is absolutely beautiful! Never feel the need to apologize for weeds or being real. Your garden is amazing.🌼🐝
Ha ha! I had to laugh at your comment regarding your 1990 shirt because I can relate. Flowers and art supplies over clothes any day. My family doesn’t appreciate thin bare clothes... although I have one good outfit to go to town in. 😂😂 Your garden is absolutely gorgeous. 💕🇨🇦
Amen to the 1 jeanshirt and MORE hydrangea. Love the garden…and the kitties.
Those hydrangeas are beautiful beyond description.
What an INCREDIBLE garden. I cannot stop marveling at it. That is one lucky cat! Your garden is every thing I wish mine was.
Your videos are literally sheer pleasure! Your beautiful garden is so natural and yet ethereal. I think it must reflect your soul. The hydrangeas are beautiful.

You have the most beautiful garden and I take so much inspiration from it. Yours is my favorite garden on UA-cam

I have 60 hydrangeas in my yard 32 are a hedge of incredibles.. I don’t think I have a favorite because they are all beautiful. 😄
Your garden is absolutely beautiful. I’m a hydrangea addict too. I have over 45 hydrangeas in my collection.
You have a way with hydrangeas! They look so beautiful along Hummingbird Way!
Beautiful Danielle, thank you for showing the blooms on each. Your garden room is gorgeous!! Keep up the great work😊🌺💕
Oh your garden is so so beautiful
I've lost count of my hydrangea! Yours are gorgeous and I love the way you made rooms. I'm having an issue with black spots on my leaves for the past two years and was hoping you could give some advice in a future walk. Special fertilizer maybe? Thanks for sharing your lovely garden❤
You can never have too many hydrangeas 😂. I love my Tiny Tuff Stuff and Blue Billow. I’m in Zone 5b and they always bloom no matter what!
Your hydrangeas are beautiful! Love hydrangeas. "Rocky stays the same size!" 😂😂😂
Gorgeous garden Danielle! I have 23 hydrangeas in total with 13 different varieties 💕 I can't seem to say no either lol
All my clothes are from the 90's 😄😆😉 love your garden 😁
Hi Danielle, oh I just love all those big beautiful hydrangeas in your garden. I've just discovered little quick fire and I love it!! I have I have six blue hydrangeas and two pink ones, sorry I don't know the names of them. Great tour! Great job filming! Did you say your putting in a train? I saw the video of the one you put in already and I love it!! Thanks for this beautiful video 😍
Hi Danielle, greetings from Canada zone 6 B.
I was laughing... hearing your arguments for MORE hydrangeas.
I have bought 30 hydrangeas this year LoL ... inspired by your channel and other influencial gardeners. It is thanks to you I am sitting surrounded by their magical blooms.
I would suggest to give Zinfin Doll and Limelight Tidbit a try. Their color starts chartreuse, then cream, then into "purple pink". I love how compact and dense the panicles are. I have planted these in my front yard and everyone is commenting how tidy and elegant they look. Proven winners of course.
Thank you for doing such a wonderful job educating us on flower growing. Keep up the good work. Take care ❤
I have twelve hydrangeas. I can only have macrophylas because I live in zone 10a. But still I love them. They are beautiful.
I love hydrangeas too! I have about 34in my garden , 17 different varieties. I don’t really have a favorite, they’re all so beautiful! I’m interested in trying the Sublime hydrangea by Proven Winners but haven’t found it yet.
Have you tried any of the mountain hydrangeas?
Thanks for a beautiful tour!!
Yes!!! I forgot to show Grace’s garden! Her garden has a few mountain hydrangeas. I really like Tuff Stuff and Tuff Stuff Aha. I do have some issues with brown spots on the leaves.
PICTURE PERFECT 👍ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
My cat and I watch your videos to relax and be inspired! Can you do a video on how to prune the different types of hydrangeas. I too am addicted but I’m so confused as to which to cut back to a couple feet tall and which to just trim. The Annabelle seems to flop less if I don’t prune as much. I have approx 15 now with quite a variety. Such a wonderful , easy-care, prolific blooming plant.
Beautiful as always! Skyfall, moon rock and little Hottie are new additions in my garden this year!
Beautiful I have 54 in my yard!!!!
Woohoo!!!!
Not sure if you get Bloom n Easy hydrangeas in your area but you may want to try growing candelabra and Flare Hydrangea, both are beautiful plants. Love your hydrangea room❤ and videos.
Hi Danielle, your garden is breathtaking. Thank you for all your information and inspiration. ❤from Texas
I think I have almost all of the ones you have. Plus a few more and about 19 varieties of macrophylas...unfortunately, the macro hydrangeas aren't that great in my zone 5b. The only ones that reliably bloom are those that I overwinter in my garage...LOL And I cut my panicle hydrangeas way back and never really let them get to full size. Beautiful garden! 😍
Thank you for the validation. I adore hydrangeas and want to cram them into every open - and filled - space. My latest purchase was Ayesha. I saw pictures of it several years ago and finally found it online this year. Hopefully it will bloom next year as it is supposed to be fragrant!
I always enjoy your garden. Hydrangeas burn to a crisp in my hot Aussie garden.
Snow Queen oakleaf hydrangea is probably the best of all of oakleaf hydrangeas that I have. It’s taller, probably 6-8’ in height in 5 years or so. It turns really pink after the white blooms fade and stays pink for a month or so. The flowers are bigger/longer than the smaller cultivars like Pee Wee.
Plant-buying really is an addiction. I have to make sure I plant everything in the ground before I allow myself to buy anything new!
Beautiful!! I only have 7 hydrangeas so far....lol. you inspire me. ❤😊
I love limettas too. They are underrated. I also put in some little lime punch last year and am eager to see how they turn colour. My favourite has to be Bobo, though!
Absolutely beautiful! I have 6 hydrangeas so far… possibly my new obsession!! ❤
Olá minha nova amiga que lugar bacana Parabéns meu Deus até tomate tem no meio da floresta uma lindeza sem tamanho❤❤❤
Beautiful! Incrediball is perhaps the best smooth hydrangea. Also wee white sorta burns out even in part shade in zone 5b
I really enjoy your garden tours! Please speak to what you've learned about light requirement for different hydrangea varieties. I have two limelights, two years old that don't bloom. I am relocating them to a sunnier space this fall. I notice you have a fair amount of shade .I would love to know how you found their "happy place". Should a panicle bloom first year? Thank you again for sharing your beautiful garden.
Always so inspiring!!! Time to start adding more arborescens!!!!
Lovely... thank you
I just love touring through your garden!!!! My hydrangea obsession has been growing and I am most excited about my Incrediball Blush hydrangea. It's SO tiny right now but I'm sure will be worth the wait when it's mature and full of blush pink blooms. Can't wait to see what hydrangea you plant next :) !
Beautiful!!
I have 16 hydrangeas and I just love them.
Your garden is beautiful! I love all the hydrangeas. I want to add more to my garden. I currently have 2 little lime. I have 2 little Hattie and 2 vanilla strawberry to add when it cools off a bit
Beautiful garden
I think you should call your farm the Hydrangea Flower Farm--it is your signature flower!
I have an old hydrangea that I planted years ago but I don't know what it is. I have Incrediball, Fire light, Candelabra, Bobo's, Endless Summer the Original and just added Wee Bit Giddy. I wish I could add more but I don't have any space left. Bonny
My favorite hydreangea in your garden is the sunday strawberry..i do have a few hydreangea by new like 3nor 4 years old.❤

I think I'm going to try another hydrangea! Just need to find ones that are the most shade tolerant
