I am so glad you are on UA-cam. I am also glad that you changed your traditional farm style setup to a backyard with cutflowers setup for your daughter. I am glad we get to see this everchanging beauty in all its glory anytime we want. Thank You!
I'm in the bedroom watching this and my husband is in the living room. He just yelled, "What's that bird noise!?". I said "My UA-cam.". He thought a bird got stuck in the garage! 🤣😂🤣
I never tire of walking though your garden, along with you explaining things. Any season, any time of day! You've done such a beautiful job with the space. Thank you for always sharing.
I just adore your videos. I lost my Grandma a few years ago and I feel so much sadness about it still. She inspired me to begin a garden, and I very much create it in her memory. Your channel brings me so much peace and joy, I can’t thank you enough foe sharing your beautiful space with us ❤️
Hi friend. Sending you lots of love and understanding hugs. May our grandmother's memories live on eternally through us and our gardens. I always find myself lacking the proper words during these times. It seems no words suffice, and no sympathies can be conveyed strong enough. I am thinking of you.
It was such a soothing guide through your gardens. You are a great part of my day today. I planted Dahlias first time this year from seed (great plants) but only 3 separate flower blooms, total 68 plants. Ugh! Like you say we learn from our mistakes. Looking so forward to a change in planting spots and a success like your blooms next year. Love, Love your channel Thank you for your helpful tips.
Your garden looks so beautiful, and with the birdsong it's truly magical. Please share occasionally the mechanics of what you do, so we can see how you dry celosia or arrange abelia, for instance, or especially how you put your garden to bed for the winter 💚
Love your cottage style gardening... Beautiful plants... My favourite is mexican sage... Job well done... You bring sunshine in my cloudy day... Thank you... Stay safe...
I love your garden 😍 I grew Stolze von Berlin dahlia this year, it got a huge bush and 8 cm flowets in diameter ( 3 inch and a little). We just got our first frosts in eastern Europe, so... no more beautiful dahlias this year
I’m halfway through the tour and commenting ☺️ so I may make more comments. My Stolz Von Berlin blooms are about the same size as yours so that must be the size they get. Diva is on my list for next year! 🤩 The new camera is great!
Absolutely gorgeous and so fun to see the changes! Because of you I have gained the confidence to change things around. Thank you for the beautiful tour! I love your company tagging along!
Lovely, even as it starts to wind down. I live in zone 7b and have left dahlia's in the ground and had them to come back for many years till one year I lost them. If I plant them again I will try deep mulch. Those breakout and diva dahlias are beautiful!
Thank you for investing in the new camera. The pictures are phenomenal. There are so many good ideas in this for next year. I’ll be watching this one several times. Plus, need to take notes for dahlia order.
Oh my goodness!!! I started growing jewels of Opar this Spring. I had never heard of it or seen anyone else growing it before then. It’s so fun to see it in your garden. I have to admit; it’s a bit of a thug here in SE Texas 🤣😳 no seriously, my crop might take over the state!
Lovely tour, as always, I'm thinking the people in the hot air balloon could see your garden from up there. I wanted to suggested the name Autumn Sunset for your Dahlia. Oh and Erin @ The Impatient Gardener had a dinner plate last yr named Watermelon, it was also gorgeous, like Cafe married Breakout.
Beautiful garden!!! It would be nice to se a video of you harvesting some flower and arrange them to dry and show us were you dry them, and what your ''collection'' of dry flower look like at the moment. You seem to have a lot of dry flower project, so cool!
I bought a jewels of opar plant many years ago at it reseeds itself every year somewhere in my garden. They come up in my flower pots randomly also. I'm zone 7b. It's amazing to me to spend a few bucks on a plant and then for years you get so many more in return.
Hello Danielle, thanks for this very inspiring tour through your wonderful garden! Now I have a new to me Dahlia "Diva" on my bucket list for next spring. About this viburnum with the different coloured berries, I´ve heard some people complain that it never bloomed for them. One person indicated that maybe this variety needs another pollinator by it´s side. Yours looks amazing, it is right on my colour sheme, maybe I´ll give it a try! Best wishes, Hanni.
The entrance to your garden looked so amazing today! What a beautiful tour. Struggling with Dahlias that didn't bloom til late September, I will have to try yours. Looking forward to the dried Christmas tree, it was lovely last year.
I really enjoy myself watching all those beautiful flowers, especially the dahlias. I love the dahlias colors that u have in your garden, the plants really high up. I would love to plant dahlias but the weather here are hot and humid, it is not easy to take care. Happy gardening and love ❤️ from Malaysia 🇲🇾.
I love my burlesca, but I agree all the pics online show a fluorescent pink. Mine are also a dark, muted pink, but I love how multidimensional the color is.
Your garden is always lovely, could you please give us an update on your fence sometime on how well it's working out for you. I have been contemplating on purchasing the same fencing for my yard. I'm curious on how well it does through a winter snow.
Yeah I think we can say our summers and flowers have an extra month or two of beautiful growth!!!!! My sunflowers are now blooming because I planted the seeds in August lol.I have a gladeo that bloomed white and omy the color is breathtaking, why, because it's just soo Brite white and full ,the bloom is thick and not one bug has wanted it!! Its just so fluffy lol. I packed away in envelopes all my zinnia seeds! This year I had a few rounds of blooms and I tell ya the more set of blooms they just kept getting prettier and prettier!! Ihope I make sence lol.
Hi your garden is beautiful. Thank you for all your videos! I grew Stolze Von Berlin as well. It's a pretty flower but mine are very small as well with short stems and very short vase life.
Hello from Australia, I have some Mexican bush sage in my cottage garden and so far I've only dry pressed the flowers because I'm not 100% sure how to dry them. Do you just hang them upside-down to dry like lavender to keep their form? I love the Bush sage and it does so well where I live. I love walking through your garden especially on the days when my chronic pain is so bad I can't get outside. Have a lovely Autumn, we are just getting into spring and the tulips have flowers and the fog gloves are just about to fully flower (give it a week). Plus the big oak tree is starting to get some leaves again. We have had so much rain, usually its too dry but it hailed yesterday and rained everyday last week, very unusual for Australia. Anyway, Thank you for sharing your stunning garden, I can't get enough of your hydrangeas xxx Janelle (Melbourne, Australia)
Hi Janelle! I'm so sorry to hear about your pain and the hail. Thinking of you and hoping you will feel healthy soon. Yes, I hang the sage. I just use the same racks that my grow lights hang on.
Your gardens still look so beautiful, even this late in the season! Did you grow Jowey Nina this year? I thought I saw you post a photo on Instagram, but I didn't see it on the dahlia tour.
How your gardens have changed! I just looked back at your June 2019 video. Soon you’ll need a machete to walk down your garden path. Hahaha. I’m afraid I do the same here!
your garden tour was beautiful! I love the dahlias. But mine arent as tall as yours this year. I have the stolze von berlin dahlia. It is a small size ball type. This is its first year so I dont know if they get bigger. I use them in my $5.00 bouquets. Theyre so pretty.
Thank you so much for sharing your garden and your planting journey and knowledge. I was curious if you could please share the type of camera you purchased used on this video. Hugs from Oklahoma. Carolina
Can you please put a link for the bags you put on them to protect them from the bugs. Thank you for sharing, hoping to have a show next year! Hugs and love from Texas!
Hello- thank you so much for your videos! Your not far from me in the same zone (but I don’t get all that snow!☃️) and it is very helpful to see what and how you garden. I do have a question. I just discovered dahlias last year and bought the tubers. When you start dahlias from seed packets do they form tubers or do you have to keep planting the seeds each year? Thank You and enjoy your holiday weekend! Tonia
Hi Lisa! I use organza bags to cover the dahlia buds. This protects from wide range of pests that would chomp or deform the blooms. You can see my bagging process here - ua-cam.com/video/Q6cAeMt0RUo/v-deo.html
I am so glad you are on UA-cam.
I am also glad that you changed your traditional farm style setup to a backyard with cutflowers setup for your daughter.

You have such an inspiring blend of shapes (jewels of opar💜💜), foliage, texture, colors. It's truly magical!

Love your cottage style gardening... Beautiful plants... My favourite is mexican sage... Job well done... You bring sunshine in my cloudy day... Thank you... Stay safe...
So lovely and unpretentious, even a bit wild as I like and nature really likes being. Thank you for sharing.
I love your garden 😍

Danielle it is always such a joy to see your gorgeous gardens! Thank you so much for sharing and I hope you and your family have a great day as well!!
It doesnt even look like the same garden I saw in the spring! So amazing how quickly everything fills back in!
I love how you incorporate your cut garden in with your landscape. Your yard is so beautiful!
Your garden is so beautiful! The balloon flying overhead was a sight to behold. Thanks again for sharing!
Awesome tour. You are such a great inspiration. Love listening to the bird song.

Heartachingly beautiful.💗 Such a wonderful and peaceful way to start my day. Thank you!🌺
Our first year to grow dahlias, and they make us look like we know what we’re doing. This tour/info is delightful and informative. Thank you.
You must be so proud. This combination is simply stunning and noteworthy. The progress you have made, wow. Thank you for sharing before you cut.
Thank you Danielle for the tour. The garden is looking spectacular, great colour and texture. 👏👏👏
Lovely video. Thanks for taking the time to share the names of the plants and the dahlias. You confirmed my thoughts on getting Cornell and Diva!

Glorious tour! Is it just me or did everything just pop with color as soon as the temp went down!! 🌺🌾🍂
Thank you for investing in the new camera. The pictures are phenomenal. There are so many good ideas in this for next year. I’ll be watching this one several times. Plus, need to take notes for dahlia order.

Wow, so beautiful garden you have maintained mam👍👍
I’m sorry to have to inform you, Rue does not help with Japanese beetles but it does help feed Black swallowtail butterfly caterpillars. 😍
thank you for sharing such a beautiful garden

I love your garden so much!
Absolutely gorgeous and inspiring💚
Your videos are so enjoyable!
Wow, so gorgeous dahlias, I am going to try growing some of your favorites, loved seeing Buddy.
Lovely Fall tour.
Such beautiful garden
Lovely tour! Thank you! 💝
My Dahlias from seed are white single petal yellow anemone middle!
Tiny plants! I named the 1st one Dazy Doodle!
Wow! She sounds like a stunner!
Beautiful garden, thank you for sharing!
Wonderful tour! How about Pink Citrus Sorbet for your second Dahlia? So pretty!
What a great name! I love it!
Just gorgeous!
Do you use the “hot water treatment” when cutting dahlias? Refer to videos of Swan Island Dahlia Farm. 40 acres of dahlias. Very informative
Your gardens still look so beautiful, even this late in the season! Did you grow Jowey Nina this year? I thought I saw you post a photo on Instagram, but I didn't see it on the dahlia tour.
I have garden size envy...beautiful. I live in the U.K and my garden is teeny tiny compared to this.

Hahaha Lynn!!! You're right! I'll need to turn sidewise on the flagstone come October!

The dogwood berries would make a great jelly. Not so much jam though🌺💚🙃
Beautiful!
Beautiful garden! A name for the pink dahlia started from seed made me think of Cheekie Girl. A name for the magenta one could be Hawaiian Surprise,
Beautiful! 💜💕😍
You should film those pumpkin bouquets!
Name: Raspberry Dreams!
It so reminds me with slight orange with that raspberry color!
Hi there. I started the main flower walk 6 years ago.
