Steph, your gardens are blooming beautifully! You and George have added interest to your landscape with all the Japanese maples, and shrubs that anchor all the varieties of perennials.
Oh, what a fantastic video! You made my Saturday morning. I was out watering and weeding early, then took a break on my wrap around porch. I decided to check my phone for a moment and, there you were!! I enjoyed it so much. Thank you ❤ . Now, back to work.
I get so inspired by your videos and learn so much!! I have just started a journal with ideas for next year. Thank you!! How do you keep your flower beds so well weeded? Do you use any preventative applications? Much appreciated.
Steph and George your whole property is so beautiful , you should be so proud of all that you have accomplished ! I so enjoy your informative videos. Blessings to you both !!
I absolutely love your gardens. You have such a gift for pairing color and all the beautiful flowers, shrubs and trees together. Are there any favorite garden books you love and go to? Or, garden channels you watch? Thank you for sharing your garden with us!
I am "hooked " on your wonderful garden videos! Love how you give so many tips and informative comments. Special thanks for sharing info on winter seeds you've planted. Thanks Stephanie!
Your garden looks great. I can't believe you have all the lilies. Rabbits and deer have eaten mine. I use liquid fence too but this year it hasn't helped for lilies.
Your passion for gardening and the vibrant beauty you cultivate are truly awe-inspiring. Your dedication to creating a haven of color and life reflects your nurturing spirit and love for nature's wonders. Your garden is a masterpiece that brings joy to all who see it. And I am Floating Village Life
As always Steph beautiful tour. Cut back the yarrow that you want to save once it’s almost done blooming. Save the stem and stick them wherever you want them to regrow. I have been doing that as yarrow spreads horizontally. So, I have been taking side roots from the mother plant to place all over my garden. Coneflowers are on the dry side. Once fall comes just dig up and move the pant. You can spread the seed of the variety you like in your garden too.
Hi Steph, I started my day off with some personal stress. Started watching your video and felt my stress melt away. Your garden is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much Darcey! I love documenting the changes in my garden throughout the season, and its fun to share. My hope is to document and share inspiration 💚
Gorgeous Steph! I am totally in Love with the “Japanese foliage garden area”! It just looks like it is calling you in to stop and spend time there. I planted Dwarf Joe Pye weed this year ❤. One of my new favorites. I had gomphrena return from seed and they look amazing! Love the Hibiscus and Hydragenas! You and George Winning Combination! ❤
Steph, beautiful July tour your garden has come along way you seemed to be having fun tweaking the plants so they fit in perfectly. I love your front door containers the soft colors are pleasing.
Stunning! I love your garden! I’m in a similar zone in Ontario 🇨🇦 and I’m moving to a new house soon. I have both lots of shade and some full sun and I am taking so many notes - “what would Steph plant here…what has Steph used” as I plan out my new space - your garden is so inspiring and I love how you grow from seed. 🎉🎉❤❤
Hi Steph: Your main walkway is filled with plants of many varieties. I like the way the colors compliment each other and very beautiful to look at are the dasies in your garden next to Japanese Maples. The elephant ears are wonderful potted in containers and you have so many lime light hydrangea which I am growing in a container now in the sun room. An amazing specimen that changes and displays many colors. Your stone borders are a good idea and give the planted areas a tidy look and I am wondering if they are river stone. Thanks for your video and hope you are having a nice weekend..
Very nice! That's a good mix of flowers and space. My bubble gum coneflowers are so-so, but my cantaloupe coneflowers are indestructible for some reason, lol. The throw up tons of flowers and the stems are very strong. Love the new kniphophia! I just saw that at the nursery and have to get a couple. You're gardens are very, very nice! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks to your recommendation last season I bought Zahara Double Raspberry Ripple Zinnia seeds and sowed them in April. They are thriving in clay pots on my patio, even in SoCal 9b heat which reached 109 last weekend. Crazy. What a summer and it’s only July.
Your garden is such an inspiration for me! I love echinacea but the rabbits are really chowing on them. They also have eaten my black eyed Susan’s vines, hyacinth vine and even my lantana. Trying repels all but will switch if it’s not effective. Happy gardening!
Your gardens are looking beautiful this July. Always look forward to your monthly garden tours. Thanks for sharing, Steph. Love all the different varieties of Echinacea💚
Your gardens are beautiful and I love your videos. Your channel is very near the top of my favorite garden channels. So much beauty and you share useful information. I learn something every video.
Your garden beds are gorgeous, especially envious of all the blue evergreens you have! I'm in SC 8a and struggling to find something that will work for me and stay a reasonable size in my small landscape.
Steph your garden looks beautiful, and thank you for the ideas you give on your channel. I have copied some. When it comes to the quick fire hydrangea, I think your husband was right about the hydrangeas growth, they can grow big. Mine are passing my neighbors 8’ tall fence by a foot and they are bout 4’ wide. We might have to move them and it’s going to be a big job 😅 because how big they are. However they are a gorgeous plant and one of my favorites.
Wow! 🏆 You have a keen eye for colors, combinations, layout and execution! It’s just shockingly breathtakingly beautiful! Total perfection ♥️♥️♥️ Also, thank you for sharing your expertise🐝🦋🌸🌼🌺
Hi Steph. What a fun time in the garden! reaping the beauty of all your hard work 🌿 I can’t get over how the Japanese maples are filling in, really pretty. Thanks for the tour.
Steph, you really have an eye for colour combinations. I love your new knifofias, they're so beautiful against your maples and coneflower. Good on you for growing your own seed. A true gardener!!! Your gardens are a show stopper, especially at this time of year.😊 Brightens up our cold and dark winter in New Zealand atm. Jo. Interesting that our tastes in seeds are similar. I too, tried Sahara rudbekia last summer and lavender yarrow which has overtaken my garden. Also coneflowers are my favourites for summer.....love the raspberry and white swan. I'm keen to try astrantia seeds, so they are in cold stratification atm. They are a beautiful small border perenial. Check the white and rose varieties. I think you will love them.
