A competition that involves almost EVERY SINGLE FTFM Personnel(Parker, Landon, Jake, Josh etc..... and everyone has to shoot the same product commercial and WE get to decide out favorite via UA-cam voting poll 🤩
Dude I would love this!!!
@@TheAnnihilationInc a test to see who deserves the ultimate film maker title lol
Great idea!
NotSoFast
YESS! That would be awesome!
Wow guys did Parker really not notice that the snow was a VFX, I am blown away
I know right. I was like, i think the snow was VFX. Lol😆😆
I definitely didn’t notice either!
I didn’t notice it either
@@dominickwok8163 fa
I know, I noticed it right away
I was actually surprised Parker didn't notice the snowflakes were going at a regular speed and the couple were in slow-mo. It was the first thing I noticed.
is a low key ad
in Parker's defense - he didn't see the BTS of my shooting the video with no snow haha I showed it to a lot of people and they didn't notice the snow. The first shot of the road is real snow, so that's what threw everyone off
@@JakeWeisler ahhh so that’s why you used that shot first 😂
Why not have a new guy for every competition. Josh is becoming a veteran now.
wow
@@FeltActs wait a minute. You're a walker as well. I've never met a walker in the full-time filmmaker community
Bahahah 😂😂
I can't wait for the time when Josh shows up as professional vs some beginner dude and kicks him with cheap gears.
nice one
wowwwww
Yea, can't wait for that
Was looking for this comment 😂👍
It would be next to impossible.
Next Challenge: Shoot Beer Commercial and let's see who really nails it 🔥
Extra challenge, shoot while they’re drunk
They’re all Mormon. I don’t think they would shoot alcohol stuff
I agree, especially corona beer to reflect the time.
wow cool
@@THEMATT222 Lol, let's see where their creativity leads them!!
Great job to both involved! Josh has progressed so much it’s insane.
Always pumping out quality content! I love the "Beginner vs Pro" series :) Keep up the great work!
Loved Jake's setting, but Josh's video made me feel more emotion. Ya'll are rockstars.
I'd love a contest on sound design! That's something I'm still trying to get better at, so I'd love to see what Josh can do. :)
You become who you hang out with. As Josh is working with great people I'm not surprised he got so good.
The newbie show so much more feeling in my opinion. Congratulations.
I felt the same
I always love watching these; even the "beginner" side is always pretty freaking good, which shows how much room for improvement there is in everyone :P
First scene and you know who is who.
Watching the beginning sequence, I can see that the more experienced shooters try to show confidence and make their clients feel good. That was one of the things I have learned that really helps.
Thanks for this series! I'm learning a lot from seeing the side-by-side comparisons and your comments. A great and educational series overall!
Sometimes people don't care about beginner' or pro's shot. In the next future, this kind of moment capture will be so valuable.
You've done a great job to inspire. Just keep up the good work
Always excited to watch this kind of contents 🙌
After first frame, I know who is who :D
The experience cannot be missed!
I seriously love this series. It’s really helpful seeing the comparison. Please keep the series going!
I've never done any video work at all at all in my life but i instantly knew the second video was a pro for one reason alone. The timing of the shot transitions synced to the beat of the music. Being a musician, the first thing i notice on screen is the music over anything else. Dead Dead give away to me.
The snawflakes was a great effect in the video by the way!! Love it!!
Love this series so much! Good job to the whole FTF Team!👍💯
this is a dope series, love it
Great video! And great job Josh, love seeing you progress man!
Great job to Both, I like Josh B/C of color and Brightness control.
HOLY COW, Jake's was absolutely breath taking!!! Loved every second of it!
😂😂😂 “start with the girl, women are prettier” thought that was funny even tho I know what he means. Women draw more attention lol
it sounded the sexist the way he said it
So good to see another another episode...
love to see behind the scenes and bloopers during videos...
Found this video so useful. The honest critique on both videos is a greta learning tool.
Whatever might be the result, Josh's progress is faster than me leaving the maths class
Great job guys! Always something more to learn! Marvellous!
The difference between both is way more huge than Parker says it. In every aspect. Mainly the story, the shooting, the editing, the selection of music. But the beginner is showing nice promise compared to the previous videos.
I would like to see some challenge where a neutral editor is going to gather their footage on the same task. As I think the editing skills are making also huge difference. For example Parker to edit the footage of both. I am sure he will guess very fast who did the shooting, but it will be interesting to see if he will trying to give some help to his cousin.
Huge thanks for such videos. They are showing how important is the learning step-by-step.
I watched this as someone who is just starting out, and self taught by experimenting and watching free videos, so obviously I don't have the experience or subtlety that pros have.
I really liked the first one, but the second one really made me feel something. I got a sense of the emotions felt by people in love. I rewatched them again to see if it was a fluke, or because we knew who's is who's. In fact, the second time, the second video was interrupted by my phone, and still, it gave me the same reaction. Was it the music, the acting, composition? No idea, but I suppose that was the difference for me.
Well done for both of the guys, I enjoyed both videos very much.
I love these competition videos, entertaining and informative :) Great content !
Hey guys your talents are amazing thanks for being on UA-cam and sharing your skills love you you guys keep it up
I knew straight away! Good job guys!
I love your beginner vs pro series 😍😍
I need more videos like this for learning filmmaking
Thank you for your lovely content💝
I'm really impressed with Josh's progress. I learned from both videos. Thanks for the great content.
Your videos help Me a lot especially that one hour free training course
“Cinamaticness” 🤣🤣🤣
I noticed because of the pacing and ending (Josh's did not end w/ music, and all shots were a few seconds each; it was slow). I really liked Jake's diversity of shots, both closeup and far away, held for different amounts of time, w/ intermingling and continuity of scenes. I also *loved* the flare and snow.
Of course the composition, colours, scenery, and stabilization were great for both!
And these videos are sooo educational for us to see the differences in skill and experience-please keep them coming! 🙏🏼
I'm blown away with the look Jake gives. great video. Im also looking at my Eos R wondering if that prime 50 Jake used makes that big of a difference. I cant get mine look that clear. Great Job guys
I learn so much from these guys! Thank you so much!
Josh tells a story and it creates feelings.
I loved the edits. I love the shot of the road!
A sport team hype video would be sick. Although that might be a little tough rn😬
Just a fantastic video, I'd put myself much closer to Josh in this one but to be able to see what a true pro can do with the same gear and setting is so motivating to improve! Cheers!
Epic video, guys! Loved both versions 👊🏻
Amazing video! Love this series!
I say the only thing for Jake I saw was the added white flare, I would have ran that once but it’s also added on the clip after but both great videos. Can’t wait for the next!
Just when I was wondering what an engagement video looked like, what do you know. Perfect timing as always guys👊🏻
I love this video!
I think about pro uses various angles and focal lengths.
I learn many things from the video!
Thank you!
Personally, I preferred Josh's video because it has feelings and showing a love story. Jake's video is more professional and beautiful but it is looking like an advertising for a go-pro or a camera lance. at 6:15 when the girl is looking at the camera, it looks like she wants to go out with the cameraman next and for me Jake lost lots of points because of that. Anyway, very nice video! first time on your channel and I really like it!
I loved that shot of the girl looking into the camera, but you’re right. It was really flirty and suggestive.
Exactly what I thought
Josh! love the song selection. Inspiring work from everyone. Cheers
These videos are such a great learning tool! 👏👏👏
I really learned lot of things from this awesome beginner vs pro series. Keep going and making quality content 👏❤️
Always love this series 😍
**To me, I think they both nailed it, but the difference is purely clear...well done to you guys you are doing a great job**
Both nailed it. Well done!
As soon as I saw the long establishing shots I knew it wasn't Jake's
Yooo it's keyboard king 🥵😂
Love your work man ❤️
@@athul323 appreciate you man!
Me too! I just knew at that point. 😅
Yoooo Joseph in here too!
I knew right off the bat with sound design who’s was who’s. Love learning from this channel and yours too Joseph 🙌🏽
Josh's is 10/10 and Jake's is 8/10 imo; Josh's just hit me in the feels more, whereas Jake's felt more scripted
Backlight from the sun is the best!
Gosh... the color grading on the BTS is amazing!!
Please do more and more of these , im lovin em
I knew that's wasn't a real snow, great job both of you 👏💪
Dope video as always. Keep it going!
Just wow, we want more videos like this ♥️
this makes me so happy to watch
Very, well done guys!👏🎥🚀
Josh did very well on the technical side. However story wise... Jake's crafted a deeper story, which to me is the most important thing
Thank you! These are my favorite!
Well done! I think they both did a great job, but as you said Parker I would like the end shot in Jake´s video to be a little different because it was kind of abrupt. It would have been more satisfying with a shot where you really feel that this is the end, like a pan + tilt up towards the mountains or something and then maybe a gaussian blur fade out.
I wish this video also cross 10 Million. You guys deserve more views.
I thought Jake’s video was too repetitive! But it looked cinematic though.
Thanks guys, these are great and I love the concept! What about an ad? I know it sounds basic, but as you guys know, there's a lot that goes into it. Each of you pick a product and sell it to Parker via a 30 sec. ad? Oh and gear budget can't exceed $500. I'd love to see that! Thanks for sharing!
This is amazing info! I'm super inspired
Great video! Fun and educational.
PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE VS VIDEOS
I learn so much.
Do working with a NEW model/influencer how to teach them to pose and such
Lovely work once again boys
lets goo keep up these video they are great
Currently editing an engagement film for my friend and this definitely helped thanks for the tips!!
editing breakdown. GO!
The snow in jake's take was a nice touch although i thought it was a bit more in your face, like it was more on the screen rather than on the scene. That's why i noticed right away that it was an fx
This is great with amazing results thanks for this
Josh is killin' it! (Could tell it was Jake's because of the depth, foreground, background, etc)
Damn, Josh has improved so much with the experience, soon he'll be as professional as Parker
I love this series
awesome video!! you guys really inspire me, thankyou.
👍
i soooooo love this channel!! Very interesting content, so goddamn professional, very informative - I'm having a BLAST with every single video! KEEP IT UP 🤟❤
I love that series
The beginner video looks sooo calm and beautiful.
Photography is all about talent and creativity.
Parker im trying really hard to learn from this video but i cant get over how fly that hat is bro!!🙌💪🤙
Nice video! And nice headset Parker, would you recommend it? Ps; immediately saw the difference! Second video is a lot better! Great job 👏🏽
Loved it!
AWESOME!!
Great filming techniques here!
a lot of tips here i learned, thank you so much sir.
a lot of learnings I've learned, I will try it on my UA-cam Channel
Congrats ,Both!👏🏻
