hi, i did tue classic mob spawner (the tower) on bedrock edition and no mob is spawning. to be Afk at what high i have to be by counting the 31 blocks of the mob spawner?
@@stuartng08 so basically you want to be as far away as possible without causing the mobs to unload. So you want to be within 128 blocks of any place where the mobs will be, and be at least 24 blocks away from any spawning spaces. In the farm featured in this video the tutorial linked provides the detail on all the dimensions
Hi , i built shulkercraft's 11 layer creeper farm, sometimes it gives 64 gunpowders (which it should) in 10 mins and sometimes it gives 12 gunpowder in 10 mins.please give me a solution.
Thanks for making this video. I hadn't played in a while and forgotten that the afk platform needs to be 24 blocks way from the spawning floors. This saved me alot troubles.
Moving back 7 or 8ish blocks from the standard mob farm worked perfectly. I to rebuild and relocate my farm twice today, and you just saved me from having to do so a third time. You're a lifesaver.
This helped me out so much, I made like 12 layers and they said to go up like 100 blocks from the top but they only did 5 layers and I was so confused but you explained it so well
thanks to you, my mob farm is fixed! turns out I really was just too far away, but some basic math proved that the mobs were depsawning before dying, but that's fixed now Thank you again
hi everyone! im having trouble with a spawner that isn't covered in any one of the videos i've seen so far. the spawner is about 160 blocks above ground, with an afk room about 50 blocks above that. even with no light, i get absolutely no spawns in the room. before i lit the top i would have spawns up there, but never in the room. the floor is made of cobblestone, and the room is 3 blocks tall if anyone wants a good challenge, this should suffice. some misc info that may be affecting this: i am in a tundra biome, bedrock version 1.21.0. thank you to anyone who entertains this.
I’ve tried following Cjays observers and Dispensers type with the repeater clock and wattles and pixlriffs note block clock idea but for some reason I can’t get my dispensers to dispense the water on each level. I don’t know what’s wrong as I’ve followed all the steps. The clock works fine but as I said before. The water doesn’t com out.
Same here! We’re you ever able to figure out what was missing? I’ve been over the videos a half dozen times. The observers are in the correct position (face up, arrow down). The dispensers are filled. The first observer even flashes but water is not released.
@@triggerfish0589 this is a very common problem i also used to face it, theres a simple fix to this, actually your repeater clock moves so fast that obsergers go slow as compared to its speed, this is because of ur flick time of lever, basically like as u switch on the clock from lever, just let it move like 8 repeaters on 4 tick (the observer triggering should be on 8th repeater)before u switch the lever off , this will make sure to provide enough delay for the observers to catch up
Late message but helpful to new players. Mob farm spawning or spawning in general functions like this. On 4 chunks simulation. Mob spawn like this, from center of player. Mobs spawn 64 blocks away from player in every direction. That is 64 blocks to the left, to the right. Up, and down. On 6 and 8 chunk and above its 128 blocks in every direction, up, down, left right from center. No mob spawns 24 blocks away from player in similar fashion of the up, down, left, right rule.
Then there are chunks. Chunks are grid squares of the world. In this chunks is where things happen. Or what minecraft uses to make data calculations changes in the game such as crop growth or mob spawning. Way to find where chunks start is to divide the coordinates of your location by 16. If your x and z coordinates can be divided equally with no decimals then that's the start of a grid chunk. It's best to build things starting from a chunk as this maximize where minecraft updates and spawns mobs. On PC this trick is not needed as their are plug-ins and mods you can use.
put a water bucket inside dispenser make sure that the redstone cycle is working then put a temporary block on dispenser, put a observer on temporary block and make sure its facing up, then remove the temperory block
i don't understand, tried this in single player and a lot of mobs are spawning but when i did it in my aternos server not a single mobs are spawning ( i both did it in the ocean)
my farm like the one in your video is over a deep ocean, with no blocks around where mobs can spawn, I used the mod you used and tried all the tips in this video but am still not getting much (like maybe 12 bones, 20 rotton flesh, and 8 arrows in a span of 4 hours of afking). is there anything else I need to check?
Man idk my farm still wont work idk why.. im 80 blocks away from farm like tutorial said and not just this one, every farm I make that includes mobs isnt working..
Ok so i have a question now, my farm was working pretty well, i had an afk room that i never moved or anything, for a week it worked good but then one day i was farming and suddenly no mobs anymore, and it's been a week since that moment that my farm doesn't work anymore at all. Juste yesterday evening it worked perfectly for an hour then nothing. I play with my friend in a realm on bedrock but it never was a problem
But nothing on why my Redstone repeaters are refusing to set off a timer or anything ? There is no way to just make it work without having to redo something ?
I'm having an issue with the waterflow not going where it should on the platforms :( - I put the water in the center but it doesn't do the waterflow properly idk why smh
Yea, so I did passive mob farm - simple but large. You know, water canal design where you are close enough to the mobs so they can step into water by themselves, on accident. I figure building up water-flushing active design upon it was huge mistake, eh? I gotta remove old compartment to remove old passive spawn points. Damn I'm going to spend so much time and effort, while I could save most of it if I would just do it properly from the very start. Starting out with lazy design and upgrading it later, I've should be smarter than this.
@@EasyGoingMC Welp, I went and removed passive spawn compartment. It's just the spawn pads with water now. 4 towers of spawn pads with 6 pads per tower. It's humongous. And it doesn't really work that much faster than before. While being high in the sky at the sea, around 170 is the "pick-up" level, and pads are starting at 200. Right now, I'm looking at both towers and get 16/24, 24/32, 19/29, 13/21 etc. As far as I know that means that there are 8 more entities I don't have in the direction of my view. But turning the view away from the towers, in any direction, I get 0/8 entities, so I can't locate the problem. And - just as I wrote that - the number of entitiwes changed to 12/13 etc., so that there's only one more entity I can't locate; I don't know what happened. Using: /kill @e[type=!minecraft:player] more than one time to eliminate eventual drops I now get 1/4, 7/10 etc., so there are 3 entties I don't find. And the mob farm still doesn't work as fast as I see in so many videos. I'm confused.

The next thing is the total number of entities.
Using:
/kill @e[type=!minecraft:player]
more than one time to eliminate eventual drops
I now get 1/4, 7/10 etc., so there are 3 entties I don't find. And the mob farm still doesn't work as fast as I see in so many videos.
I'm confused.
@@Ist_Geheim the campfires are probably why it’s too slow. Assuming you are filling up the mob cap.
