I'm 45 and used to roller skate several times a week when I was a kid into my teens. About 3 months ago, I decided to get back into it but go with inline skates (Marsblade) this time! Your tutorials have been so helpful - I feel a improved and more comfortable every time I skate - thank you!
Just found your channel and it's been a huge help, not only for myself who hasn't skated in over 20 years hah but also for my son who is getting in to inline and ice hockey!
Been learning to play hockey for less than a week. Haven’t touched blades in 16 years. But watching your videos has been challenging me to learn when I hit the rink. Thank you!
I was really struggling with understanding backwards skating the last few days I had been practising even though I had skating forwards conquered quite well. This video really helped me understand and today on my 4th day of practising I feel way more confident and understand the process a lot more. Thank you so much for the great video that's very well explained ❤
Nice residential area. Good video. I’ve bought some True roller hockey skates last week, I hadn’t roller skated for years as my Bauer skates are painful. It’s much harder than ice, but fun.
@@StillAliveAndKicking_ yeah a good place to live. Very quiet. Thanks, I actually find the basics easier on rollerblades because of the slightly wider base compared to an ice blade. But yeah the more advanced stuff is harder.
Hell Marcel. I have been enjoying your content for many months now and I have made so much improvement in my inline skating. You have really helped me, all the way here in Japan. I was wondering if, should you have the time, could you make a video on the turn you did between 1.30-1.14 in the video? It looks like a backwards crossover and I think it's the coolest thing. I have watched other videos but nobody has your clarity of explanation. I think the online skating community would be so grateful! Thankl you so much from Japan!

Hi Joe, Thanks a lot! I'm not quite sure about the Time Stamp: you mean when I change direction 180 degrees and do a backward crossover at the end?
Thanks man really helped
