Probably the best step by step guide for a noob trying to get his dead battery fixed on his own. After watching this video i literally got my battery out in 10 minutes. Thank you Sir for this accurately explained lesson🙏🙏🙏
Thank you! This video was very helpful. I just wanted to connect a battery tender cable to the terminals, and was clueless how to gain access to the negative terminal, this video came to my rescue!
Loved the introduction - thanks for the fact snippet! The rest of the video was equally informative and helpful. I just replaced the battery on my interceptor after watching your video. Cheers!
Thank you! This video is useful for recharging my drained battery.. A step by step detailed explanation. Also, using only the tool kit provided in the bike itself helped me alot as i dont have any special toolkits.. Thank you so much
I had a hectic and not so productive day at office. Reading your comment just made my day as I realized that I was able to be of some help to someone. Something productive happened finally. Thank you Krishnakumar ... cheers!
Nice, informative video. Also, just listing the specs of the battery for others: Exide 12V 12AH VRLA battery. (It's different from what most other bikes use)
@@WanderingSom Just that the size & AH isn't a common one. For instance, the Himalayan uses an 8AH, which is fairly common across other bikes like the KTM Duke or Dominar. The Classic uses an even rarer 14AH battery.
How long battery normally last? In my case nothing is coming like battery totally dead , its been 3.5 years. Should i change the battery or get it charged?
Hey, I am planning to go away for 3 months period. Is it ok if i just disconnect negtive side and leave the Battery on the bike itself?? So it dont rundown the power ! Please guide me.Thanks
Hello Speed of Light ... it will be good that you disconnect the Positive terminal, and better if you disconnect both the terminals. Happy and safe journey. Thank you.
I just ordered my Interceptor, and the only reason i was watching this video was to figure whether i will have enough space to put a GPS device somewhere. I don't want to cut any wire so i am planning to put a OneLab Go which is a battery operated GPS, its bit chunky i have them in our car, don't know how will i fit it here.
Hello there. I should have done a video on GPS tracker as well. I have LetsTrack installed. Its the small one, looks a pen drive. While installing, not a single wire was cut. However, to get power the engineer had to put a wire alongwith one of the fuse. That's it. It goes under the cover where the air filter is. Hope the above is of some help. Congrats for your new bike. Cheers!
@@WanderingSom thanks for your prompt reply, i have seen few video but my only concern with these small gps is regarding its installation, i don't know any good machanic( i live in small town) whom i can trust to play with my brand new bikes wireing. Another concern is regarding longevity of such makeshift wire connections in monsoon or otherwise. A gps with inbuilt battery can be lot simpler stealthy solution, only downside will be to charge them once a month . I am eagerly waiting for bike's delivery, then i will see if my oneLab Go fits somewhere, if not then i will buy these small GPS.
You're so right.
There's so many obstacles around that battery it's ridiculous.
Hello Loki,
Things could have been made simpler; I believe the designer knew better.

What battery model amps using in twins ?
Technically it is supposed to be 12V and 14Ah battery ... it's a rare item. Not so easily available.
Can you please share me link to buy ?
@@kishoredava170497 no link available. Get it from a battery shop or from RE Service centre.
What's the warrenty period of the battery?
Usually its 12 months.
