- This is an old video when my bike was just 3 months old & i started getting very annoying Battery problem, & finally i clamed warranty after days of frustration, finally my problem was resolved. And today my bike is 1year & 4 months old this problem never came back..... Plz LIKE & Subscribe my Channel for more videos like this.......
Just faced the same issue 1 week back while returning from a short ride to UK. No previous sign of battery issue since last 3 years. It was a original AMARON battery. My luck was really good that this issue happened just 3km away from RE center at around 5.30PM. Before taking bike to them i checked all fuses and alternators but in vein. Finally i tried to pull bike in 2nd gear and tried to make it start by our old schools ways but again no sign of life. Finally i drag it to RE showroom and after 40-50 mins of troubleshooting they diagnose its battery issue. As i am middle of nowhere, i ve to reach delhi and technician is in hurry so i have to take quick decision so i simply said changed the battery. We go to EXIDE dealer 10km away and after checking my battery with his machine once he said battery report is good just minor voltage drop but i said how come its possible i have ridden around 300Km from morning so i asked to checked it again and this time CCA dropped from 173 to 17 only. I replaced it with 12 v 14 amp exide xplore battery of around 3k. I still can’t believe it is a battery issue but as i am away from city so i have no options otherwise i will scrutinise every aspects. By the way what is the warranty replacement time in RE ?

Thank you for the video it saved a lot of time and hastle . Had the same problem with my 2.8 year old bike . Removed the battery and checked it at 3 local battery shops and all 3 of them said that the battery had full charge and the volt meter reading was 12 v, only one of them told me that this is though it has full charge the battery is malfunctioning some how it made sense as the head light and horn were working but the starter motor would make the tik sound and not start the engine .. After watching your video i decided to get a new battery which was a 12V 14 Amp one .. and it worked like a charm .

@@Top1-dg5cn Went for a amaron battery 12 v 14 amp one . the battery is working fine no issues so far.
I would suggest to get it directly from royal enfield service center

Despite batteries being expensive I hope that this is my problem too. This bike is driving me mad.
if u r facing this problem in a regular basis then u should also have to check the RR Unit, the Alternator Coil & then the battery
I've recently installed new amron battery. and it was working fine. yesterday i ride in rain for more than 7 hrs. and today bike is giving same issue.

Thankyou for your video ,I have had my battery on a Deltran battery optimiser but they 4 year old battery looks like it requires changing and the cold weather has probably effected battery too.

Yes bro, I have faced similar issues for my Interceptor too...my battery was also gone...RE have replaced the same...after that problem never arrived... By the way, nice video...keep making more... but suggesting for a separate Moto blogging channel...👍👍👍

I have changed the battery thrice and rr unit once in the past 1 year ..Today yet again battery gave up overnight..What could be issue here .
Change the Magneto Coil & check if u even installed something that is draining the battery 🔋 or not 🚫
The bike is stock , haven't installed any accessories.. The service guys say the alternator and coil is fine. Wiring harness can draw currents when parked ?

I had the same issue, they changed the battery twice, but still the issue persisted… finally they traced the issue. It was the rectifier that was faulty. Price was only 800₹. But since I changed the battery twice… I had to pay for the second time 2700₹. So anybody with this issue… just replace the rectifier.

In my int I tried ur solution , but how do I travel in the dark. My rr unit was replaced under warranty but again it has started to give the problems
dude u should check the battery charging unit, replace all OEM bulbs to LED, & if u have installed Aux lights make a separate wiring for that these (check how i installed Aux lights on my bike) r the ways how u get rid of this problems

All cheap components...they replaced by battery twice within warranty period. RE make cheap bikes. Bikes below Rs. 1.4 lac are more reliable.

Even I just changed my battrey after 3 years 15,000 km bro... But I still have issues with headlight low beam and speedometer light even after changing the battery, I will have to get the charging coil

ya dude this is mainly dude to battery problem change the battery, now it is available in my market, just few days ago i change my battery too ll upload the video fast..

You could probably save the health of the battery by not running and especially not starting the bike with the headlight on high beam everytime 🙄
dude its Bs6 terms here in India Headlight on every time, & these batteries r dry cell batteries they can go bad just anytime

Check the RR unit.... that can be the main culprit... battery not getting adequate charge voltage....possible cause

My battery was fully charged and after 3 days while riding my continental GT i stopped in front of a shop to buy something,
Again when i press the self button its not starting,
The fuses are good,
And i have shifted to iridium spark plugs,
I can’t understand what is the problem,
