This is what Kenyan leaders should focus not politics and corruptions that have no sense

the transition from chaotic state in public transport (where Kenya is currently) will be the biggest challenge. i hope the laws and the enforcers will be aggressive enough.

Tanzania's BRT is diong well, I feel sorry for our overcrowded Nairobi with some unlawful pedestrians, motorists, matatus and motorbikes within the cbd. Sacrifices must be made for us to succeed.

Rules have to be followed for a system to work. If people fail to do so, like in our beloved country, the system breaks down and fails.

As a Korean living in Kenya, I think it's very good that Nairobi's public transport system refers to the Korean public transport system.
Seoul, the capital of Korea, is one of the largest cities with a population of 10 million with very low public transportation costs in the world, and it is also very efficient and convenient.
Since Nairobi is also a city that is experiencing concentration and is growing rapidly, I hope that the Kenyan government will not be obsessed with short-term results, but rather plan an efficient public transport system in the long term.

BRT does not wholly replace other public transport buses . The BRT buses use dedicated road passage and stations, normally centrally located, whereas other public buses(matatu) will still use the crowded outer road lines. Since the BRT uses the dedicated road passage they are free to move fast and they don't overstay in station waiting for passengers like matatu wasting time. People are free to choose between matatu and BRT(BRT rates could be slightly higher than Matatu). They are normally faster and comfortable than Matatu.

the question is where will that strong leadership come from, from my point of view, there are very few people with strong leadership qualities in Kenya,to get them out of 50 million and get them in position of power is another fantasy...lesson or without lessons, nothing will change in kenya.

Why Kenya can not learn to their neibourgh tanzania because tanzania imperimented before kenya for brt and not from far away, why africans prefer to copy for whites and not to them selves as africans, so kenya let it learn from Africans nations who hav already imperimented for BRT

Our country has failed from implementing huge tax importing everything why can't they make our own BRT is it that Kenyans don't have skills that's why China dumped old trains and we still owe them hii government ndio iko na mchezo ya ajabu wacha vile prezo hucheka na kusema wakenya wako na upuzi he should lead
