- This week we tried 4 new foods from Aldi, including a grilled cheese and tomato soup, Arby's curly fries, southwest harvest grain bowl and Snyder's hot buffalo wing pretzel pieces.

I didn’t think the Arby’s were flavorful. The bag is still in my freezer. 😮. The pretzel honey mustard ones are amazing!!! The cheesy jalapeno tots and the bacon ones are AMAZING. I ate the whole box in one sitting!!

Katie, I'm not surprised you were expecting more tomat flavor in the soup. I make tomato and basil soup over the summer, using my garden tomatoes. I freeze the soup, amd in tje fall, it tastes like I just made it. I'm a snob about only two things in life : tomatoes and any soup!
I bet your soup is Devine! If I get lots of tomatoes this year I may have to do the same as you. Such a great idea!
I love Arby's fries! I've found them at other grocery stores too (like Stater Brothers in California)! 🙂 They also sell the bottled Arby's sauce (which is like a BBQ sauce).

The hot buffalo wing 🥨 pieces are my fave! I only buy them when I find them on sale though. Big lots used to be where I’d find them on sale a lot. Such a good snack!

We don't have an air fryer, only oven--but bought these Arby's Curly Fries. Can't wait to try them. Also LOVED their Cheesy Jalapeno Tots. Those were delicious!

If u like tomato soup u should try sopa/fideo soup it's really easy to make, it's a Mexican style tomato soup. Enjoyed the video

Happy Friday Katie and Tim!😊 The Harvest Grain Bowls look good. It kind of reminds me of a dip I make that I am glad to share. It is full of fiber. Recipe is: 1-2 can of organic black beans, 1-2 can of Green Giant Shoe peg Corn, 1 container grape tomatoes cut in half, scallions cut up, feta cheese, use reduced fat or full fat your choice. Drain cans of organic black beans and corn. Poor into bowl. Are grape tomatoes cut in half and scallions. Add feta cheese. Poor red wine vinegar and a good olive oil into it. You have to decide how much you want of the vinegar and olive oil. Refrigerate and use Tostitos Scoops. It is addictive but good. Love the taste test. Have a good day!😊❤
The way I like in Arby’s curly fried is different and horseradish dip, and it will clean out your side like nobody’s business

The word Tim was looking for when referring to the soup additions is accoutrements it is a French word used in the culinary world that means additional items to elevate a dish , great video!
We have a small Aldi store which I visit twice a week. Sadly, we don't have any of the dishes you showed,.

Did you guys ever review the US caught frozen raw shrimp from ALDIs you picked up a couple hauls ago? I was really intrested in those but I haven’t seen a review for them.
Hey Marc. This is Tim. We did not review the shrimp on the channel, but I actually finished them with dinner last night. I would grade them a 8/10 because they are wild caught (not farm raised), they have a decent size and were clean. I would pick them up again, but my only critique is that they were rather mild in flavor compared to wild caught red Argentinian shrimp (my fave).
