- Welcome to A Song of Ice and Fire Battle Report 25! In this video, Zach and I face off again, this time playing the Game of Thrones game mode at The Forge, in Houston Texas. I have brought a Baratheon army the one and only Stannis Baratheon, The One True King versus Zach's very interesting Stark list led by Rickard Karstark. Enjoy!

I am a simple man, I see a well contructed battle report. I click like button :)
It's clear you put heaps of effort into editing and recording these, even after the game. I appreciate that man, these are the best examples of asoiaf in English I can find.
Thanks a lot for the compliment! Yes, these do take a lot of work, so I appreciate that the effort comes across in the final product. As a rough estimate, I think these take between 12-18 hours to produce, but I’ve never kept close track of the time, especially since I space it out an hour here, and hour there, over the course of weeks. Thanks for the supportive feedback!
These are great reports! Here is another channel you might like: @underthehedgegaming
Congratulations on 25 battle reports!
You do an outstanding job on every facet.
I enjoy watching how everything unfolds during the game play.
Thanks for the kind words and long-time support Woody!
Hey, I just want to say that these are fantastic. Editing is great, commentary is spot on, it’s an awesome fix for when I can’t get a game on the table. Thank you!
Thanks for the kind words! I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the video. There are plenty of other videos on the channel to get caught up on!
Congrats on 25 reports, these get better every time! You seem to be the only one with non-cursed Baratheon dice lol.
Thanks Brent! Well, everyone needs one set of lucky dice. 😄
just bought asoiaf mini’s for the first time with the stark starter box and this was super entertaining to watch and follow along
That’s awesome! Welcome to ASOIAF! There’s a backlog of more battle reports waiting for you to watch, if you feel so inclined. They’ll be from the previous game version, but the differences will be very slight, and there may not even be any substantial differences, depending on the faction . I hope you enjoy this channel’s content and the content of the other stellar content creators in the Song community. Stay tuned to this channel for a new battle report in a week or two. 👀
Best ASOIF battle reports I've seen. Thank you for your content.
Thanks a lot, I appreciate the kind words and support. There’s more to come, so stay tuned!
Buenos Videos, se aprende mucho de los errores o Faqs que comentan! Esperando mas Reportes de Batalla!!
Great BR Randall. I thought it was over turn 2 but it shows just how much thing games swings back and forth.
Thanks Tony. That’s one of my favorite aspects of this match, and a good lesson for the game in general: how a game can start to look hopeless, but then the cavalry arrives, literally and figuratively!
Thank you for very good AUDIO.
It certainly helps the video & our enjoyment level.
Great batrep!
Just a small observation: when using Test of Faith, passing the moral test removes the condition tokens from the R'hllor unit. However, if the test is failed, the second effect of the defense for 1 attack remains on the unit. The optimal scenario is to remove the tokens and add +1 to the defense, but if the test is failed, the unit still receives +1 to the defense without removing the tokens. Great Video 🦌😄
Good call-out, thanks!
great video!
Great battle report
Having both Oath of duty so early, i never get so lucky lol
Definitely felt nice to get them early! I don’t recall ever having them both that early before.
@@imperialminis857 Great report as always, if you're ever visiting the UK I'd love a game
Thanks, I’d love to visit the UK. I’ve never been!
See I love digesting these, but it pains me to see you guys losing track of which token was where, theres room on the tray, pile it on. Same with where you take just one unit off before the panic test? Spread out your fingers, lift all 3 models, no room to forget if that was indicating from the left of the right.
Sorry you found some of these things irritating. I don’t recall which of us, if not both of us, were doing the things you mentioned, but we are all imperfect beings with our own ways of doing things. For my part, I’ve never liked putting tokens in my trays since they might scuff the paint or basing of my trays or minis. Similarly, I always carefully remove each individual model to preserve the integrity of the paint job. My models are also firmly magnetized to the trays so, if I were to attempt to snatch up a fistful of minis in one grab, I might just take the whole tray with me. I hope you’re able to enjoy these videos despite our differences in on-table token management and miniature removal. ;)
Its ashame that these amazing minis are stuck in movement trays in this rank and file game
The minis can be removed from trays and then they’re pretty much traditional fantasy minis that could be used for any number of other game systems of similar scale. I magnetize my minis to the trays so they don’t get tossed out of the trays when moving them around the table. But they’re still easily removed.
