I love the thought of him not even knowing anything about the start of his life. Just focusing on his goal without reflecting on his purpose. Maybe he reads the first poems in the book to try to decrypt the history of his youth, or travels back to now ruins of the immortality temples to see if he can remember anything. People who investigates him would probably just assume that he had lived forever, maybe him more than anyone would think that. Other dedicated historians who don't know about his longevity probably wouldn't even make connections between the different stages of his life, one emperor in Andalusia, a different traveler in Asia and Africa, and the hermit king of Paris. Maybe he one day would encounter records of one of his "past lives" not knowing that it was him.
Perhaps that would had been the case if the black death "pest" hadn't killed most of his family while we has far away in the sea (game prolly would had crashed if it werent for the plague)
@ Runs which do show how to (mis)use game mechanics - I loved the combo to switch between ruler/adventurer. An idea out of my head: getting the Many Crowns modifier as fast as possible, while starting in a humble position?

Madlad playing as an elf in vanilla💀 Also eu4 slip in 43:55 😅 Seriously though, your skill with paradox games is on another level. Now I wonder what can you do in other ones such as hoi4 and stellaris
tbh the dynasty tree crashing is unfortunately a big problem for long campaign (especially if polygamy is on) Would've loved to see how crazy it went. but alas, this was overall such a beautiful display of modifier stacking. It's lovely.
I absolutely love your video. I hope to see more. And or just regular game play commentary with episodes or long video. Great video 👍 i enjoy all the details
35:00 An important point is that the title of head of the house is NOT ALWAYS only inherited with the death of a character. When playing as a character with a clan type, there is an event in which you can transfer the chapter title to the character who calls it. Mostly your brothers or cousins or uncles
this is actually pretty cool. Is it possible to get that tome in any other way, meaning not joining that dynasty? I enjoy playing from an even earlier year, start when the world is less developed. Would be cool to obtain it at that point as well.. All I ever manged was to be very very old... meaning about 100.. Even got extra years from when I have that skull icon and then battling it and win a few more years by boosting health
Glassman Nick overstayed his welcome on earth for an extra 50 years and beyond the Fall of Paris after somebody in the Bible voluntarily walked away from a prehistoric precursor of Imperator: Rome innocent immortal playthrough
Most content on ck3 is incredibly dull, but this video was actually interesting and I even learnt few new things(except for cheesing ofc). Well done sir Also hardbeats between chapters is hilarious
I wonder. How many attempts? How many Nicolases dies in alternative timeline to gather all those insane modifiers like the book from the beginning? Hom many centuries you needed to roll back for it?
I was Infirm but it didn't matter because that is actually countered by the "disease resistance" modifiers... anyways I also lost the trait like 10 years before the end by entering a haunted mansion and getting healed by a witch
And using this very exploitive maneuver, we can create multiple unlanded 100 stat immortal advisors and wives/husbands ect... This will make the game unimaginably easy tho, so exploit at your own risks...
no I don't know about that... although I doubt that it is anything different than some save-game exploit to gain cheats in Ironman... at that point I feel like it is no achievement whatsoever isn't it?
@@thestudentYT Create a custom ruler with 100 stats, immortal, etc. Create an ironman character over them. For some reason they are not deleted, simply put as a wanderer. adopt, then play as an immortal 100 stat being upon succession. achievements available.
3:10 does lunatic worth it ? + ur missing on strengthen dynasty thing which gives really good bonuses including health boost plus you could have gotten witch for disase resistance against infirm etc
I couldn't get strenghten bloodline anyways because taking "quick" and "comely" traits would have been WAY to much points anyways... also that is why I let an AI of my Dynasty click that decision later so I actually had all of these Bonuses AND being Lunatic for building the Glass Monument... And also I had way more than enough "disease resistance" modifiers as well so becoming a witch wouldn't have changed anything at all (literally)
It is sadly only a "disease resistance" boost that doesn't counter health loss from aging, so it doesn't matter really (Except you get cancer or something)
I saw a few other videos over the last few months and then when I saw the Landless Adventurer Update came out I just thought, man now something like that might actually be possible :) After all Ck3 maybe has lost track of all the modifier they kept adding in the last few patches XD
@thestudentYT hang on does that mean if I download the game now without the DLCs I can have the immortality trait and play for fun? Or do I need the DLCs for that?
@@yanirfp7472 honestly I really don't know if the immortality trait itself is part of a DLC but I would guess it's not... but I am only like 70% sure so...
This is crazy! If this man was real, trying to understand his actions would drive many people insane in their quest for immortality lmao. Also, any reason you made same-sex relations criminal when creating the religion?
I always try to make as many things criminal as possible so that there are more possible hooks and secrets to use when needed (also for money) I think in most religions it would have been the default but aparantly in Taoist it was set to allowed by default So no ideologic reason here, anyone who thinks like that in real life nowdays is not more than a moron honestly so no worries :)
No, there is no fertility cap for men in ck3 exxept the reducing fertility from aging that can be countered completly by the "disease resistance" modifier so this character had 100% fertility at the end without any mods
@@thestudentYT Oh. I thought there was a cap since multiple of my fertile male rulers were seemingly made infertile after 18-21 kids even with 4-6 active partners. It didnt matter how much fertility I stacked witth artifacts and modifiers... disease resistance never crossed my mind. I'll try it out, thanks for the info. :O
There is a cap, but it is on the limit of living children. At least there was last time I looked at the files. Increasing that value leads to rabbit outcomes

Classic CK3 stuff am I right XD
I mean, this one is literally quite common. Higher than great granddaughter, now that’s dedication
EU5 team - Our next game will not be about stacking modifiers.
Players transcending mortality by tinkering with modifiers - Let's see...

man you should have wrote that video script xD
That would be the perfect RP for this story haha
He is probably ancestor of half of npcs in the game
I mean at least of all the 1000 Members of the Umayyad Dynasty

that is the strategy: There are no succession problem if you never die :)
400 years sounds the ideal retirement age for most economies.
I've seen your Reddit post yesterday, didn't expect to come across this video naturally.
Sometimes YT actually works as intended :)
"It's my life

any idea on what topic I should do a video on the next time?
If only you could get Immortal legitimately thru event like in CK2
Yeah I guess the devs wanted to really make you work for it in ck3 ;)
Devs saw the fun people had in CK2 and said "No! No longer shall you have fun in our game!". Thus CK3 was born.

No sadly the only way to get AND to use the Tome is to inherit it with the Violet Poet Trait (so as a direct heir of Wallada)
Doing this in Ironman is wild💀💀💀
Truly amazing
Crazy video, would have loved to see the diffrent map modes in the end!

It's a pity that books that used to be able to be taken into inventory as much as you want now have a limit

happy to see that ck3 has reached eu4 standards of stacking modifiers
