I love when he forgets the disc inside the console before recording. At first I thought it was a joke, but he got really mad at himself in a video for doing that so constantly, lol.
The Dreamcast version also has the most crisp sounding audio. It sounds studio quality. PS1 sounds decent, and N64 is very compressed sounding butchered to other versions. Another interesting note, N64 don't play the full songs but Dreamcast does. The PS1 and N64 versions are also missing songs. Ms. PacMan: Maze Madness also had a planned PS2 sequel which was quietly announced and quickly cancelled.
Typical N64 audio workaround. I remember playing Tony Hawk on N64 and all the songs were like 10-15 second loops. The worst was Jerry Was A Racecar Driver; I love Primus, but the developers cut the audio in the wrong spot, so it doesn't even loop properly!

Funny enough I've played this game quite alot. On the GBA. Never knew that there was a home console version until you mentioned it in the last review. (Also, my mom was a big fan of the GBA, this game being one of her favorite games on the console. She even was "addicted" to Pokémon Sapphire version. Only time in my life I saw my mom playing video games that weren't on her phone.)
Emmanuel Esparza i remembered the Ms Pacman GBA game when I saw Ms Pacman push boxes here. I remember that was an element of it, and I remember having the game, but I can't for the life of me remember anything substantial about it
Reminds me of my mom. Nowadays she just plays Candy Crush endlessly and barely knows who Mario is, but she had this weird phase many years ago where she would play Hot Shots Golf 3 on our PS2 like... every day. For hours. I remember one of the few times she got a hole-in-one and she absolutely lost her shit haha.
Wow... I have never heard of that trick with the dreamcast vga cable before. Good to know! I can't believe that actually works, that's so hilarious! xD
one of my favorite games of all time, I love the soundtrack and just the overall atmosphere so much. Combined with the simple gameplay, the soundtrack causes this game to just be relaxing and really enjoyable for me
"This game's soundtrack is really good!" And that is is an understatement. This soundtrack started my love for videogame soundtrack. Finding out as an 8 year old kid that this also has actual CD audio tracks playable on any CD Player felt magical at the time. Aahh, those were the times.
Actually, there is a removed soundtrack played in the Temple of Dots (3rd level) called "Cleopactra 2". I think it was meant to be played in those levels because it suits the scenery in Temple of Dots and it also is a perfect "void" to fill in the gap when almost every world had 2 songs. (Yet the desert world only had 1)
I loved this game as a kid, and playing the multiplayer mode with my family was probably the most fun I had playing a game as a kid. I never knew what the witch blocks were until now, because I never had a memory card for my PS1 so I would have to start over every time, so I got pretty good at the early levels, but the later levels always scared me, and my older sister was really good at the game so she would get to the final boss, I don't know if she went back and went through the witch blocks
aha i know i was just a kid,but i really enjoyed playing the multiplayer games with my sisters when i was younger. in hindsight i may never be able to have that exact magic back, but the whole game was such a good time as a kid. always happy to revisit it.
I've only recently found your channel and my god do you pump out quality videos like it's nothing! The fact that you're able to produce this many awesome videos within the span of less than a month is baffling, and I look forward to seeing what you put out in the future.
Hi! I’m a new viewer, and I love that you set yourself apart from all of the other video game reviewers by putting something small from your childhood-like the goblin thing in this video. It makes them more real and it’s so sweet to listen to you be nostalgic over little bits of your life! It really puts “you” in your video! (Almost said puts the “you” in “UA-cam”. Almost.)
Hey man I just discovered your reviews from the pac man world review! I've instantly become a fan and hope to see you play Pac man world 2 which is the one I grew up with
This brings back memories.. I remember used to play the hell outta this game when I was a kid. The music is really memorable and the multiplayer was fun as well!
This game was really solid both gameplay and music wise (the graphics wheren't bad either, the lack f fog was great), it was also the only game that got my mom to play a video game ever, and got her hooked for 6+ hours I also could play it with a dancing mat without needing a chiropractor afterwards (looking at you Tomb Raider) so that was a fun bonus
Thank you for covering this gem I loved this back in the day and never felt it got the attention it deserved. I'm still waiting for Ms.Pacman to make a major comeback in a sequel.
its so nice to see someone covering this game, its one of my all time favorites and in my opinion criminally underrated. also, having grown up with the ps1 version, that 60fps footage makes me NUT
You play/finish, and go super in depth with reviews VERY quick, geez usually it takes people 2-3 weeks for a review like this, AND it’s their full time job lol

Only recently started watching your vids and I gotta say I really enjoy your style of review. They are pretty chill and you are not trying to force any humor or stuff like that, keep it up.
This makes me wonder if you'd be interested in checking out the Frogger Beyond game. It's an interesting attempt at trying to modernize Frogger, with some rather difficult level design.

Nice video as always Nitro Rad! You sound genuinely excited to play these games because you have an interest in them, rather than picking titles "because of the views". Never knew anything about these 3D pacman or Ms pacman games, but they look like fun!
The multiplayer mode was definitely not great, but playing them with my dad is one of my fondest memories. The game's soundtrack though, man it was so good!
Yuri Perillo tbh I have a horrible memory, I thought it was PC and I’ve never really touched a DC, maybe it was 64 I’m not too sure, all I remember was like a computer like screen so I have no clue

Probably because putting a game in a console irl is super satisfying (for me at least)
I love when he forgets the disc inside the console before recording.

Iverson64 yeah honestly that one shot does a lot. While also being a nice shot it tells the viewers that he plays actual games and doesn’t emulate

Good continuity. Takes us along for the ride.

We'd watch my mom play this game too lol the only game she'd actually play
HOLY Crap!! That's A Good Mom.😊😉😆
Okay but like did everyone's parents suddenly get obsessed with this game? My mom literally stayed up till midnight to beat it
I used to own the GBA version of this game along with Pac Man World. It's not as good, but I still beat both of them.
Minus Bros. Sounds interesting I might review the Gba version!
Exoparadigmgamer made a video about pacman world on ps1 vs GBA. It is really in depth, so I recommend you watch it :)
