Toshinegawa I think ever since Super Smash Bros. 4, Bandai Namco has been using the classic design while retiring the Ghostly Adventures design in other games, even in his appearance in Sonic Dash (which is the origin of his Fighter Spirit in SSBU). 😊

Orson might have just wanted to be loved, but he still kinda kidnapped a buncha people and tried to murder Pac-Man multiple times. Pac-Man chomping him is understandable. Besides, Orson will get his body back, the ghosts always do when they're eaten. And Pac-Man knew this, it was basically just giving Orson a slap on the wrist if you think of it like that.
I think it'd be cool if this trilogy got the remaster treatment that the Crash and Spyro trilogies did. Not only would the games look stunning in HD, but it'd finally give me and many others the chance to play these games.

I always liked that Pac-Man didn’t take that ghost’s crap after everything he did. Kidnapped his entire family and trapped them in dangerous places. Especially since this ending is so different from other kids games at the time.

All that's left now is a Banjo-Threeie or Banjo Re-dooie to come out, and for SEGA/Sonic Team to get off their butts and make a series play at a mania moment of a third Sonic Adventure game. I can relate to this feeling with Rayman 2 PSone and Munch's Oddysee GBA. Just because it isn't the definitive version, doesn't mean we can't make great memories of these games.
In retrospective, the Little Ghost deserved that, he kidnapped Pac-man's friends and family and tried to kill him just because he wasn't popular, you get killed in action movies for less than half of that.
This is one hell of a childhood favourite of mine, Pac-Man World is one of my favourite Platformers and games of all time. I loved the gameplay, the inclusion of the original arcade game, the FMVs, the memorable soundtrack. Glad you jumped from Mario, because I know from here, it's gonna get better. Also fuck those World 2 and 4 boss fights, my pain is toxic.

the remake is actually pretty great. also they changed the endgame a bit. you can beat toc-man without saving all the family, and that gets the original (and hilarious) ending. if you did save your family, then the ghost is forgiven and pac-man and co party with their new ghost friends.

I don’t think you mentioned it, but there also was a GBA version of World 1, which is sorta ok I suppose. It goes for more of an isometric viewpoint than the grid-like view of the PS1 original. I can take it or leave it really.
Like five or seven years ago I saw this game in one of my aunts house and asked if I could borrow it as I had a PS1 back a home. I played it for a bit and had somewhat of a fun time with it. Only issue was that I had no memory card so I couldn't complete the game. (Btw, this was when I was becoming a huge fan of Pac-Man, so when I saw this game, I needed to play it.)
And you started the review on what is easily my favourite track of the game: the results screen. It's like Pac-Man Level 1 lounge music, so dang catchy.

9:02 Really Namco, you could've looked to Pac Mania if you wanted to include obstacles in a maze mini game. Ya know, the game where Pac-man was able to jump over the ghosts? I imagine it would be pretty cool if in some mazes there were collapsible floors that you could only walk on once and then were forced to jump over upon revisiting it, falling in would be an insta-death. I think that would've kept the maze mini games quick and fun, and upon getting to later levels, just make some ghosts be able to jump whenever, not exactly always when Pac-man jumps, but having them jump randomly could also throw in some new strategy... Kind of amazing how adding one move to something so simple opens a world of possibilities.
It would be cool to revisit the Pac Man World Series with its remake, Pac Man World Re-Pac, I definitely noticed changes in the games especially Anubis, so seeing a review from you would be interesting to watch!

I've never played Pac-Man World, but I played a TON of Pac-Man World 2 ad a kid. It's a huge improvement from the looks of it.

I do agree that I like the older versions of Mickey and Pac-Man though I don’t necessarily hate the more modern designs.
Dude, I loved Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness, I'm glad your doing this marathon just to see your video on that game. And I have to be honest, your talk on the homing attack from SA2 really makes me hope a Sonic marathon isn't too far off from happening.

Does Nitro Rad not realize that the villains you fight throughout the games are the ones kidnapping Pac's friends.

Really Namco, you could've looked to Pac Mania if you wanted to include obstacles in a maze mini game. Ya know, the game where Pac-man was able to jump over the ghosts? I imagine it would be pretty cool if in some mazes there were collapsible floors that you could only walk on once and then were forced to jump over upon revisiting it, falling in would be an insta-death. I think that would've kept the maze mini games quick and fun, and upon getting to later levels, just make some ghosts be able to jump whenever, not exactly always when Pac-man jumps, but having them jump randomly could also throw in some new strategy... Kind of amazing how adding one move to something so simple opens a world of possibilities.
He was actually able to jump in the beta
I will never forget my battle with anubis rex. He was one of the toughest bosses I have ever faced from any game.
It would be cool to revisit the Pac Man World Series with its remake, Pac Man World Re-Pac, I definitely noticed changes in the games especially Anubis, so seeing a review from you would be interesting to watch!
