- The Nissan Pathfinder received a redesign in 2022 and it was quite the redesign! The new rugged and more modern exterior puts the Pathfinder in competition with popular vehicles like the Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade. All in all I am impressed with the new Pathfinder! I think it has potential to be an awesome family car. I am super excited to see how the Pathfinder does in 2022.

I'm so jealous of this car. I have the 2017 and it's just OK in my opinion, but man this one is such a nice upgrade by Nissan which was desperately needed. Honestly they have some major upgrades to do on a lot of their models.

Been waiting for this tour! I have the 2019 Pathfinder and my time for an upgrade is almost here. Super disappointed in the technology on the 2022, I was hoping they’d upgrade it more. Gorgeous screen but why the old computer vibes STILL. Is there Apple play in every model?

I just got the SV and it does have wired apple play. Heated seats, heated side mirrors. When your inside, it doesnt really feel old on the technology. Have you upgraded yet?

Could you show us the car seat tilt in the second row while a car seat is installed? I love the concept of not having to take the car seat out to access the third row, but I'm skeptical that the space to get back there will still be as big as shown if a big bulky car seat is still in the second row
I’ve had car seats mats in my Infiniti with quilted leather and when I traded it the dealer was surprised i had 2 small kids because the seats never looked like they haven’t been sat in and the car sold in a week.

Thanks for your great videos, Kelly! Could you start commenting on the front passenger seats?? I think that would be really helpful for those of us who will either be in both seats or mostly in the passenger. My husband and I test drove the new Pathfinder this weekend and while he was very comfy in the driver's seat (big guy), I was very UNCOMFORTABLE in the passenger seat. At 5'9", I could not move the seat up or down. In the top trim of the car, they don't let you move up or down!! And it was the LOWEST seat I have ever sat in. My knees were above my waist and my shoulder barely even hit the window. It was a deal breaker. So unfortunate. Anywho, as a family car, a mention of your thoughts on the passenger seat I think would be a very helpful addition! Thanks again!
Thay change that in 2023 model it has 10 way adjustment same as driver, in SL trim and up, not sure about the lower trims.

Hi there! We love your videos and information as we are currently in a major vehicle search for our family of five! Do you happen to know what older years of the Pathfinder have the car seat tilt? I’m looking at a 2016 and I’m not sure it does!?
Have you tried the car seat friendly tilt with the Clek forward facing? It's one of the heavier car seats so have been wondering if the mechanism would work.
The SL is not one of the “lower” trim levels. It’s one step from the top of the line. Trims: S, SV, SL, Platinum
If this is second to top and she thinks it’s low.. that should speak volumes about cheap material coupled with poor design.

@@torquer9669 Actually no, you clearly haven't been in a new pathfinder. The inside is nice even on the base model. Leather stitched dash and steering wheel on all models.
Correct the SL is a higher trim model it's just the one she's in doesn't have the premium packages added
I’m confused then if this is the SL which is the second to highest trim level, then why does it have a bench seat?

Ok so between the pathfinder and grand Cherokee L. Which one would you choose? Ive watched you on both reviews, but i do not want to spend 60 000+ lol I too am 6ft and have 5 yr old twins. I prefer the captain seats and love that the center console in the pathfinder is removable. I currently have a Nissan Armada and LOVE IT, but the mileage is horrible!!! Please give me your insight! What’s the comparison to the VW atlas? The seat tilt is a nice looking feature but wondering what sets each apart from each other.
CPSTs are generally free. I do not charge for my seat checks. Cleks are large front to back and an Extend2fit is large side to side. There’s several seats that would work well in this vehicle.
Please review a Tahoe and Yukon. Love the review from a Mom’s perspective.

Can you do a video on a family suv that is good for children and big dogs as well? Most families have dogs and along with children in the backseat we often have to put dogs. Is there a suv where we need all three rows for humans + children and some more room for dogs in the back?

Hello I agree with Toyota Sequoia too as well , they are nice huge SUVs I am a huge Toyota Fan !!! But if you see her Ford Expedition review video you might change your mind .. if you have a huge family or car seats to fit in I think expedition will do the job sequoia might do it as well, but the sequoia takes a lot of gas . Wish you luck for your choice .
The storage bin in the trunk...someone clarify...is there a drainplug so that bin can be used as a cooler? I'm pretty sure I saw that in one video but none other have mentioned it

We have an outback!!! And we love it!!!!
I have one and looooooove it! It’s a great deal- a lot of features for the money!
Another Outback fan! We’ve leased two and they’re great cars, lots of features for the price, and the trunk is amazing! I will say, that when our lease is up next year we’ll likely get a mini van. I wasn’t too impressed with the Ascent and don’t think we’ll be comfortable when we have a second RF kiddo back there.

I have this car and we're having a lot of trouble with the 3rd row access. We have a forward facing carseat and the seat belt to actually secure the care seat blocks the 3rd row access. It seems if you actually install the booster properly and securely with the seat belt it blocks the 3rd row access. Has anyone figured this out? or are they just showing car seats not properly installed in these example videos? We have the britax convertable car seat. Is there a different car seat we're supposed to be using? We are so confused. Right now we are just climbing through the trunk to access the 3rd row 😕

Yes, the Lincoln Aviator has it too. The only problem that the top lid on this compartment doesn’t stay open, you have to hold it while packing or take it out. In this Nissan, the top stays open.

Expedition would be overkill plus MPG is a joke. Put the gas savings in a college fund.

The vehicle seat cannot be reclined while the car seat is installed also.

This has been potential vehicle for my wife and I, but the outdated tech and lack of premium materials is such a buzzkill, especially at that price point. Bummer to hear it’s no fun drive either, especially after they took the CVT way. Thank you for your help, great review.
