Fantastic…great information for a novice like myself. Thanks 🙏
Your supportive, positives , all help too and that’s a great 👍 tonic Dr.
Nice work. Good to see more than just an oval plan. Keep it up!
Thanks Greg. 👍🙏
See it's not so grim up north after all... I keep telling people that but they don't listen! Great videos and love your warmth and sense of humour, it's brilliant! Keep up the good work, hugely enjoyable stuff! 👍😂💯
Awwww Blessings & Gratitude. That's definitely very warming & very much appreciated!!
I'm really enjoying your videos. I'm just starting back in modelling after nearly 50 years as TT:120 has rekindled my interest, And you have given me some great tips as I'm pondering my layout and baseboard build up in the dorma room. Magic 👍
That’s music to my soul Ray. To actually do something I love and help you rediscover the same is simply a beautiful honour
@@modeloco Thank you
Nice and simple.
Good to see the Tri-ang TT still running well.
I have the same 1958 Windsor Castle set as my base Tri-ang TT layout on my channel if you're interested.
Happy Modelling.

I’m enjoying this new TT revival in 120 scale and yes I’ll have a look at your original TT scale 👍
Wow! Great planning and construction.
Cheers George. Itching to get Phase Two underway but, the promise to pass on some track laying tips is next on the timetable
Excellent video! Like your enthusiasm. I have limited space so TT:120 is the way to go for me.
Would have loved this scale as a kid and especially, with todays running quality and sound. Thank you for the heads up about my enthusiasm too 🎉
Interessting Video. Good job. Have a nice weekend.
Thank You! Certainly looking forward to building the scenery
Nice job
Enjoyed the real world approach to your layout build

Very kind and yes, the only way is to get stuck in and let the things we imagine, begin to unfold. There has to be a little chaos lol 👍🙏
Now then Andy. Glad to see you’ve not been in Hornby jail like all the armchair specialists thought you would be over the Next18 chip review!
Lots of big time UA-camrs also seem a little put out 😂
It was never going to be a boxed set. Knew that before deciding to embrace TT:120 but, as most were ignoring the news at that time, thought I’d better get going. Been opening more cans of worms this week, to use one email reply to some new findings, long story, can’t say much at moment but, it’s better sooner, rather than later. Great to share some giggles. PS can I ask, who is the man on your profile pic?
@@modeloco Claud Butler, the cyclist and cycle manufacturer from back in the 30’s 40’s & 50’s long story
@@SDRM_Model_Railway_Club Seems we both have a long story to tell. Have a Giant MTB 29er 🚵♀️ at present. Makes for some good homeostasis after Modelling
@@modeloco I’ve got 35 Clauds that I still need to thin down, although I used to have 57 before the family staged an intervention!🤣
Sorry, I had to stop watching. The constant swinging of the camera back and forth was making me ill.
Yes, there is one point whilst doing the fascia’s where it was rather erratic, am learning, only done about a dozen, guess we never stop but, thanks for pointing it out to me. Could’ve used stills but, then that can look dull too, if over done. With hindsight it would’ve looked better on that part, if that’s what you mean? The other edits are to cut out unnecessary dialogue, otherwise the video would’ve had a very big run time. Wanted to keep it moving. It was filmed live but, appreciate the feedback 👍
One option is to take a more wide-angled view (and use a tripod if appropriate).
@@PaulSmith-pl7fo Hi Paul, Believe it or not, do use a tripod 95% of the time and especially to get the overhead view. Had it up really high, on a table in fact and fully extended. The wide angle camera I use, took me so long to study/get but, still doesn’t see like our eyes do., though far better than others I’d tried, without investing 3/4K. The Mac Cave layout room is limited by walls so, is a challenge to get a good view but, great space for TT:120. It was only after I got into the editing part, that I noticed I’d very little footage of the fascia templates. I have to accept, let go a bit, and work within these limitations. Could’ve added some anti-shake to that bit but, forgot to remember lol. It makes me appreciate more, the amount of people involved in professional productions. Wearing all the hats and spinning all the plates can cause an odd wobble on my budget but, enjoy having a go
@@modeloco Life is one, long learning curve. 😀
I dunno about that I thought was pretty smooth, really well edited. Looking great.
