This might be one of the top ten videos ever produced on this channel. There are nights where you can strike easily and then there are nights where its a total grind of pocket 9/. And you look at your bag and its all asyms or vice versa. I think I pay too much attention to ball cover strength instead of shape and core.
I like this format. While you are bowling, you can show us what you are talking about, and the back & forth.

My last series was terrible.. Lanes were burnt to a crisp and no matter what I did it was not working.. I just took the ball that got me closest to the pocket, burning up or not I did not care, I just needed to hit the head pin.. I think I had a better chance at taking my spare ball and straight bowling.. Some days will just be like that, when you just can’t figure it out.. Don’t get down on yourself.. Come back strong the next time and keep going forward!!
I always wished I had more surface on my favorite ball for league (Sensor Pearl). So I drilled another one with the same layout and 2000 surface. This is a game changer for me; 2000 on the fresh, then switch to the shiny Sensor and move left when the lanes start hooking early.
I wish you guys were talking and had a split screen camera down lane watching the ball precess while you're commenting on the ball motion.
That ball at 3:50 ..... I've never seen such a perfect demonstration of Asymmetric lockup. I see that all the time with my Nova on our house shot. That ball pissed me off so much making me think it just wouldn't hook and causing me to make the wrong moves and/or ball changes. Thank you for making it finally click! They all have their place, its just up to us to find the right time to use them.
Crazy… I just finished practicing and decided to search UA-cam for “which ball to start with”. Y’all must’ve watched me struggle! 😅
