This song was originally released in 2001. One of my favourite bands. You should check out more of their work.
This and Buck Rogers were 2 of my favourite songs as a kid, they matured as a band with "Just the Way I'm Feeling", "Comfort in Sound" and "Feeling a Moment". "Insomnia" is mega underrated.
For context of the music video, the original in 2001 people filmed themselves dancing along to the song and sent it to the band who made the original music video, this is the 2020 music video, they thought it would be a good idea during lockdown to replicate it while everyone was at home depressed, it includes some of the people from the original music video from 2001.
Buck Rogers yes
importantly, a few of the people in are kids of the originals
The song was released in 2001. This re-release was done during covid for all the key workers!
Prefer the original music video but still cracking song
Seven Days In The Sun, Buck Rogers was on Gran Turismo 3 both bangers
Pushing the senses, Seven days in the sun, Just the way I'm feeling, Sweet 16. The list is endless tbh, These were my childhood and into my 20's
Brilliant song. Used to load up Gran Turismo just to listen to this 😂
This was the theme tune to one of the early gran turismo games. Big place in my heart, this song 💙💙
The uk version of GT1 had early Feeder tunes, released before they got anywhere close to big. Sweet 16 was a banger
This buck rogers and feeling a moment are top class songs. Should have been bigger than they are
The original song and video came out when I was 21 years old and single, I am now married ( been with my husband since 2004) and am a mum to 2 boys who are 15 and almost 17 years old .Oh and I'm going to be 43 in February 2023. Time flies.
Seen them live at Radio 1s Big Weekend in Dundee 2006. Sound the same on stage as they do on CD. 100% one of the top best bands I've ever seen. The place was bouncing.
I saw them in Fat Sam's and Deaf Havana supported them
Used to play Gran Turismo 3 with my brother almost 20 years ago, this song brings back great memories
Love the fact they got some of the original people from the first video back
Not heard this for a while, my daughter would play this when she was around 14/15 yrs old. She turned 35 yesterday
The intro track to Gran Turismo on PS3 - all i can imagine is the cars flying round the track - good song
Great band sadly forgotten over time! You should react to mroe for sure I recommend "Buck Rogers" or "Just the way im feeling"
Damn fine Welsh/UK band, and they were treated as dirt over here. Emotional this tune.
More Feeder please guys, they've done the rounds since early 90's and deserve all the exposure and they're still doing it now
Here's a list of great Feeder tunes:
- Just the way I'm feeling
- Feeling a moment
- Shatter
- Pushing the senses
- Come back around
- Sweet Sixteen
- Turn
- Yesterday went too soon
- Buck Rogers
- Suffocate
- 818
Feeling a Moment was in the credits of the Goal films, which were great for a pre teen obsessed with footy lol, really captured a lot of my nostalgic sentiment when I was going to Uni and finding myself
Great list the only song I'd add is high
a great reminder of what the NHS went through during the pandemic and what this government is doing to the NHS and its staff is a disgrace
The original video came out in 2001 and was the same basic idea of fans singing along. This is a recreation of that and some of the people who were in the original video are in this, some with their kids. I think that's where the nostalgia comes in.
This song was released in 10th December 2001.
We need to bring feeder back!
Great reaction guys!!! Loved Feeder back in the early noughties about the same time bands like Stereophonics, the Manics, Kaiser Chiefs, even Embrace were killing it in the indie scene here in the UK, after bands like Oasis were on the slide. Hadn't seen this before but made me laugh, thanks for putting a smile on my face on a cold January day. Other songs by them I would recommend are Buck Rogers (you might recognise this one, it has been used on TV, I think in ads, maybe in TV shows as well), Just The Way I'm Feeling (probably my favourite song of theirs), Feeling a Moment, Comfort In Sound, and many more then imo are better than this song, which I think despite this fun video released during tough times when we were all locked down was actually released as a single in 2001. Great reaction, please check out Buck Rogers and Just The Way I'm Feeling, which in my opinion are much better songs. As a side note whilst watching you video I looked up the band on Wikipedia and they did have a breakout hit, named High, in the US but the prospective record label declined to sign them for further releases, which is a shame.
I've always been a big fan of feeders I think they're britians answer to green day
@@nothernmonkey8612 You know I was just trying to work out which US bands that they either seemed influenced by or were around at the same time because that sounds is so late 90s/early noughties, and they popped in, and I also thought of Smashing Pumpkins as well to a lesser degree, maybe The Offspring and Blink 182 too, but had already posted. I think between them Stereophonics, the Manics, and maybe Evanescence (and bands like Embrace and harking back to the mid 90s stuff as well) that was my main digest of music back then before UA-cam or Spotify existed (maybe a bit of Napster but not a huge amount). You're right though, great band, great sound, we need more new bands like them to come through rather than what we have now (I know they're still going but no band really sustains their success over that long a period).
RIP Jon Lee.... followed this band from where they were playing little bar gigs. Watch their performance of Quick fade, at the reading festival 2002. First live performance since Jon's death.
makes me feel old because I remember seeing them at tjs newport with dub war back in the day, dub war would become skindred. Also saw them at blackwood miners supporting 60ft dolls.
Quick Fade broke me
This orignally came out in 2001 with a similar video. They re-did the video for lockdown. Some of the people in this video are the same people as in the orignal. ie the blonde woman at 1:46 (of your video) who has a split screen with a blonde girl is the same person.
I highly recommend “Insomnia” by Feeder, if you’ve not already heard it. I used to blast it out in my car to get psyched up before going surfing🤘😂
Ah, Feeder. I saw them when a band called Hell is For Heroes.
So, you'll need to react to Hell is For Heroes - I Can Climb Mountains.
I may just post this on every video until it happens. I have patience. It will prevail.
A big song of theirs that I haven't seen requested yet is "feeling a moment" you should check that out
The Wldhearts were so awesome live, as were Skunk Anansie and Therapy? (the ? is part of the band name). Therapy? Going Nowhere is one of the songs that most spoke to me in my life, as well as being metal as fuck.
This is a new video to a 90s song, you need to watch the original video too. It's ace
Irish people remember this from the 2002 World cup highlights that were shown at the end of programming on RTE 2 every night!
I cannot recommend listening to Feeder enough.
Class band and class live as well.
is sweet they remade the video during the zoom era - great modern take of an already epic video \m/
More Feeder here is a MUST 🤘
Aw this song brought back so many memories, the American Pie era, listening to Wheezer etc. Oh to be young again! BTW you have to check out Buck Rogers.
In terms of recommended Feeder songs.
"Buck Rodgers" is an absolute must
Other people have offered pretty good suggestions for me the obvious one missing is "high"
Love the NHS clip
In regard to nostalgia the song is about 20 years old this was just a new video released during the pandemic.
Love Feeder. Check out Blue Sky Blue for one of their recent numbers. Grant Nicholas wrote it for Liam Gallagher but it was too late to get it on his album so they used it themselves.
I bet the new folk on this video with their kids are the fans that jumped along first time around and have now dragged their kids into it!! To be fair, this would be me! xx
Gran Turismo 3 on PS2 introduced me to this band, I bought their album Echo Park as a result and have been a fan ever since
Gran Turismo 1 did it for me. 'Sweet 16' was the song in there.
FYI I have been a long-time watcher of your channel but never subscribed you reaction to feeder has gave me no option but to hit the subscribe button.
If you like the punky side of britpop check out Therapy? "screamager", 60ft dolls "pig valentine" or the wildhearts "caffeine bomb".
"Its a song for a tv show" was in Gran Turismo release lol
That's a newer version of the video.
The original video was 2001.
Check out their tune Buck Rogers! Awesome contents guys.
Yesssssss!
Gran turismo 1 sound track had loads of feeder on
Sweet 16 was my favourite on there
Great product of the Welsh music scene in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.
hang on, what? didn't know they were welsh, i always thought they were from london. I stand corrected - some cracking bands at that time - Catatonia, Manics, Stereophonics spring to mind.
@@chrismartin2663 Grant and Jon were from Newport - Taka obviously from Japan.
Buck Rogers, Shatter, Insomnia, Tender, Just the way im feeling etc. So many good Feeder songs
Another great Feeder track is "Seven days in the sun" crank the volume up and it will blow your mind, Buck Rogers is another blaster from Feeder that is great, very much the song that made them.
Buck rogers next please
Thanks not heard of feeder for ages
Feeder are a band with choons, they came from the same town as skindred (newport south wales) same city also produced 60ft dolls. Also worth checking out "you don't see the signs" by mark b and blade(Grant Nicholas remix), feeder were the backing band for that song.
I definitely recommend to Buck Rogers next, especially if you react to them playing it live
Please you willlove it Freddie Starr singing Vincent hilarious
Should've watched the original first. Was out 20 years ago where fans submitted videos of themselves singing along and during lockdown was done again with a lot of the same people now 20 years older
There are so many awesome songs from them - hole in my head/insomnia/yesterday went too soon/buck rogers/seven days in the sun which are pre just a day and then you'll notice the difference in most of the songs after just a day for good reason. The drummer committed suicide after just a days success so many of the songs after tend to be melancholic but definitely worth checking out......just the way i'm feeling/comfort in sound/come back around/feeling a moment/pushing the senses to name a few
RODNEY RUDE VOL.3 LIVE ON STAGE
Still going strong even now. You definitely need to listen to some more and not just the singles.
Love Feeder… check out Insomnia, Comfort in Sound, buck Rogers just to name a few 👍👍
P.S did you catch the inbetweeners reference at 1:37two thumbs up on the word friend 😂👍👍
Gotta listen to Feeder-Buck Rogers
Try Buck Rogers..
"Come back around" by feeder is also a good track, you should check that 1 too.
If you ever played grand trusimo on the PlayStation then you'll know they're song buck Rogers it's the best song on the games franchise unfortunately they also have a song just the way I'm feeling dedicated to Jon Lee a band member who sadly committed suicide in early 2002
Watch the original video I think these are some of the people who were in that in 2001
Hey guys, PLEASE check out "Hi Ren" by Ren. It is relatively new out of the UK and is a once In a generation song. The most powerful piece of music/lyric I've ever heard. It is starting to get huge traction and is a MUST listen. You will never heard anything like it fellas. Much love from Oz. Here's to tradies and musicians 🙏✌ P.S. When he puts the guitar down it's not over. There's a brief monologue from Ren that is super special. PLEASE check it out guys
Ohhhhhhh I wish they saw the original firrrrst
You should to react to the track Hi Ren by Ren...its been taking the Internet by storm the last few weeks.. a song by a lad from Brighton in UK who suffers from schizophrenia and Lymes Disease
Try Typhoon by Royal Blood, guy's. Banger.
Watch Freddie Starr singing Vincent hiarious
Gran Turismo 3 !!
Watch Freddie Starr singing Vincent hilarious
Can you guys check out a band called catfish and the bottomless I recommend there songs. Pacifier. Kathleen and 7. If you like oasis you will like them
It reminds me of gran turismo 2
2001 this was out, I remember seeing them at festivals playing this
Please watch the original!!
You've probably heard this song in many movies
The original video is much better, has that early 00's feeling and memory to it
Try IDELs Mr motavator for a lockdown video
You know there is a season 2 of Inbetweeners right?
I love how feeder made it currrent but it makes me feel old as fuck. Everyhhing is gettin redone apart from the good tunes
Buck rogers is the next best song
This video makes more sense if you guys go back and react to the original video called "Just A Day"! Not "Just A Day 2".
FREDDIE STARR Singing VINCENT hIlarious pleas please
No no no, why this version? The original video is waaaaay better. Maybe due to nostalgia, I don't know, but I didn't enjoy this vid :( I love Feeder btw 💗
Candy floss rock. Formula music. 0/10.
do the GT3 version
