- With games being the MAIN reason we all play on PC and consoles this Database is focused on what Sony could/may show at its PlayStation Showcase next week May 24th 9PM British time (BST) / 10PM CET/1PM PDT US time
And then what Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase may have in store, which is scheduled a few weeks later for June 11 at 6PM BST / 7PM CET/10AM PDT

There is 60fps mode for street fighter 6 but you have to access it from the main menu I think? In actual multiplayer matches it is only at 60 fps, on ps5 at least

I know a lot of people are not feeling enthusiastic about Xbox these days, but I am quite hopeful. Looking at what they've got coming over the next months and years excites me a lot. I bought in this generation in part because they own the very best WRPG developers in the industry. And I honestly believe that's going to pay off big time.
That said, it's all on paper right now. Microsoft has to prove to people that they can deliver quality content consistently.

Any plans to do an analysis of Red Matter 2 for PSVR2? The visuals and performance are stunning, a must-have PSVR2 game. A tech analysis would be quite interesting, and it would also give the game some more attention.
Man, I hope you're right about a PC option for PSVR2, I'd invest in one now if I could not only use it on my PS5 but could also plug it into PC to noodle around with it as an indie home developer in Unreal

Lost my interest in Xbox and sold my Series X s while back...easier to use PC and PS5..there is no need for the Series X in my collection and to be honest most of the Microsoft games have been extremely lacking or offer nothing new.

@@MichaelM28dude you’re having a meltdown, it’s ok that Sony isn’t doing great this year, maybe even next year as well. It shows that they are preparing to drop the ps4 an fully invest in the ps5.
Really excited about Metal Gear Solid 3, it’s one of the best IPs that has been stuck on the PS2/PS3 consoles (or cloud streaming via PS plus) and it deserves to be accessible on modern hardware. I don’t understand why Konami/Sony has let them languish in the background, but it seems like Konami has woken up to the fact that there’s still interest in their Silent Hill/Castlevania/MGS IP. Hopefully they show us something this week at the show.
They have been a sleeping giant for sure, we can but hope this is the new dawn we need from them. 3 for 3 if Castlevania also gets announced over the summer.

HellBlade 2 needs to have better combat than the 1st. I've been playing a lot of Redfall and it's not a very good game. It could be though. Fable and the new Hollow Knight would be nice.
I expect the next playstation showcase to have more PC port announcements as well as stuff regaurding upcoming PS5 exclusives. Of course I'd love to see a more Japanese focused showcase but I just don't see that happening. For games being showcased, I have no clue except for some of Insomniac's upcoming projects. Insomniac is Sony's best studio in my opinion that they still have.
Sony's event is not a State of Play! It's a showcase over an hour long! Love the channel though! Your knowledge of consoles and computers is superior to all others on youtube.

Couldn't disagree more about Xbox. Didn't they release games like Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush, Grounded, AOE? I think they have superb teams and have lots of variety.
They would have all been Multi-platform without Xbox buying them, none of those games (maybe bar Grounded) were influenced or even exist because of Xbox. I am talking about Xbox Studios that have been around for years, we need a mix of big games, smaller games. As they are one of the largest single publishers in the market now, expectations match that and exceed due to them also being no3 in the platform battle.
Yes they definitely do, variety is actually Xbox’s strength.

And all those games mentioned are mutiplat games,they are on xbox and pc,and even coming to geforce now,I don't have any problem with exclusives just saying ff16 wouldn't be exclusive to ps5 if sony didn't give square a better deal,same logic as yours.

I want to make this clear. I dont want a reinvention. I want a 1 to 1 remake with ONLY QOL changes to gameplay/ modernisation. Nothing more. MGS3 is PERFECT and should NOT be reimagined or changed to an extent like RE4.
If it is just a visual/ control overhaul, I'll be so happy (akin to Demon's Souls). So I hope you're right brother 👊🏼❤️

Basically the same treatment RE1 1996 got with REmake (2002) on the NGC - hands down the golden standard. It's still rated #2 on Metacritic for the best game of all time across all platforms by user score.

@@purebaldness PSVita, in addition to streaming PS4 games, also had access to PSNow in addition to Vita games. Not to mention that most indie games, if you buy the PS4 version, received the Vita version for free.
With all these benefits it was a commercial failure.

Yes, the footage here is from my playthrough. I loved the way it takes the Half Life game and moulds it so well into VR. I still rate Astro Bot above it as a truly great VR game but, it is super at sucking you into the world, lore and atmosphere.

My wife is just now playing through Miles Morales, and she said, “Why are the faces so ugly in this game?” I gotta be honest, I don’t think Miles Morales looked all that good. I still think Demon’s Souls is the best looking game on PS5. Horizon had good and bad moments.
SF6 is GARBAGE, it does not innovate in any way: it is a mashup of SF4 & 3, the graphics aren't even as good as MKX which is very old & they completely got rid of any kind of loadout customization-they absolutely should NOT have ditched V system. Also VR needs to die. Nobody wants it & not because it hasn't been pushed. Nobody wants to sit around in a Darth Vader helmet swinging your arms around to move & knocking over your TV. VR is sh*t & they need to get rid of it & put those funds toward giving us more real games.
More PC games then ) why even bother to buy consoles anymore
Call of the mountain was boring! I stopped playing it after a couple of hrs, and i can't bringy myself to play it again! I don't know who thought climbing through most of a game in VR was a good idea! But i would love to tell them looking up and moving your arms up and down isn't a good mechanic in VR games! Plus, just going rd in circles as u fight the enemies made it feel way too simple! It didn't click with me whatso eva. Thought it was sooooo tiresome with simple combat.

I'm starting to think that Xbox won't make it to it's 25th Anniversary. Game Pass has become a pathetic mobile game port or a showcase for broken and unplayable STUDIO EXCLUSIVES!!
