I'm not an architect but I readily appreciate the beauty and elegance of your Sketchup usage. Thank you for taking the time to share and document such insight to your workflow.
Thanks Nick. These videos are really fantastic. Your finished drawings/sheets look very nice and clean. Like you, I appreciate that by building the model in SketchUp (as opposed to using a BIM product, it does force you to really work out how the building will fit together when it is built.
I should have studied architecture. It was always a love of mine. I am an artist though, and after watching your presentation I can say it is the best of both worlds. I might have to go back to school. Thanks! Beautiful drawings.
stupid question? could you really draw in sketchup, like you do it on autocad? like, from a simple plan, to a full detailed plan or section? i would like to start to make some construction details, but i don´t know how to start it.
Hi Nick, When you import a detail into layout do you add the notations in layout every time you bring one in or do you already have the notations done on the sketchup model that you are importing in? Thank you, John shedking.net

Your work is very impressive. Very clean and organised, I'm very envious of your scrapbook library. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing level of detail! I had no idea this kind of precision was feasible in sketchup.

Do you plot the drawings in full color? If so, what brand and model plotter are you using?
Hp 790, but for full production sets I out source.

+Lesedi Ben I send them out to a printer.
Hi Nick,
Where do you get all your textures from please?
I use Lumen RT 4 studio and Kerkythea.
Many different sites, google images etc. I also create a lot of my own from photographs / pshop
