I'm amazed that they say in the manual the minimum distance from the stove is 30 inches. That's really far high above the stove.

Look more closely , of course 30" from the bottom is not possible....This is right from the manual "Make sure the minimum width is 30 inches and that the top of the rear wall template is located a minimum of 30 inches above the cooking surface" . So it's 30" to the TOP of the Microwave, not the bottom. This is a standard height. This microwave is 16.5 " high so its about 13.5" above the stove

The reheat preset options has been overheating my food. My previous microwave had reheat preset options but it displayed the amount of time it was reheating the food. This doesn’t seem to do that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thx!

Yes there’s a vent, in our house it vents out, so yes it goes away.

Does the extenda vent, vent outside or just recirculate air inside? For that price it has better vent outside.
