I have a comment with the extend a vent on the bottom. I see that you mounted the mounting plate right above your tile. A couple questions. I imagine the plate mounts to the microwave and not the extend vent. Does your extend a vent sit flush at the rear of the microwave or does it not since you have the tile right behind it? Reason why I'm asking is that I have a similar situation with a backslash and wanted to know. Thank you
Welp! No reply yet. I have the same question, as I have a backsplash coming out 1.25", and I need to know if the vent assembly starts extending down about 1.25" in from the back, or how much less. Have you solved this one? Thanks!
