#Metallica #Hardwired #M72Montreal
It's strange how Hardwired sounds better now than on the Hardwired tour. This is peak 21st century Metallica.
Better production
james's vocal got more aggression than hardwired era i guess, and also some improvements of production
James vocals, Lars new drum setup, Lars's improved skills, and better production = perfect 😅
yes but the first time they played hardwired it sounded pretty great
@@bennettknerzer7425Lars has been using the same drum model since 1996 (Tama Starclassic). The only thing that has changed is the finish. It’s Lars’ playing tighter and also the improved editing production
When they opened with this on the worldwired tour it was nutty. The sound when the drums fully come in after the backing track is fucking insane live
Saw the very first performance life in Minneapolis!! New stadium new your new song!
Yes! That first hit hit fuckin hard on Worldwired
These intro's Sound massive live
I mean this was a little after Worldwired but I saw them May 2022 in Napa Valley. They opened with Hardwired and it was on a different level. It's even on their UA-cam!
So good
It's great to see they haven't forgot this amazing album
Lol you obviously weren’t at the show. So many people were pissed they subbed this in instead of Blackened or Fight. Too bad it wasn’t forgotten
I love this song but I really understand why people were mad LMAOO@@jd0879
They were still playing Moth into Flame before they played this for the first time this year. They never forgot it in the first place.
@@jd0879 cry harder
they should play more atlas rise and spit out the bone and dream no more
72 Seasons is truly amazing, but we can't forget Hardwired is an amazing album too
72S sucks
El mejor que han hecho todas las canciones son potentes
and significantly better
Perfection 🥺 Cliffs smiling at You guys
These live performances are spectacular. We really have to thank Metallica for giving us these high-quality live videos for free! 🤘
They're not "free", they're ad-supported. They make big money from these.
@@stuartcopland6243 Yeah but I’m saying that WE don’t have to pay for it.
@@rtgredtruck3059thx for your videos man! :)
Nice to see Hardwired getting some love! Great performance!
I am proud to say that I was there, and experiencing this was such a wildcard, thank you metallica for playing this!
They literally played it the last night they were here
@@jd0879well I’m assuming the last time they were there was for the hardwired tour so that makes sense but rn it’s a wildcard
The wildcards were def the most memorable. This, Leper Messiah, and I even got excited for Dirty Window!
@@natec4743 bro I saw them at MetLife and lost my mind when king nothing came on I’ve always wanted to hear it live and never thought I’d have the chance to
@@zuckleyplays4120Nah man. A wildcard was Until It Sleeps or Dirty Window. Hardwired has been played none stop since 2016
Even at age 60, the 'Tallica boys sound crisp. Rock hard 🤘🏼🔛🔝🔥🔥
I have to agree, even though they don’t play most of their songs in the original key to save James’ voice.
@@ceilingfansclocksminecraft1226 a lot of artists do it, and the songs are still peak quality so i don't mind it at all.
@@blahajshork I know, and I can agree, when I saw Elton John live back in October, he did 3 of the setlist songs in different keys, but didn’t sound too bad, same when Toto opened for Journey back in April, a few songs that Toto played were in a different key and didn’t sound too bad either. Hopefully songs at future concerts I go to won’t sound terrible either, whether it’s in a different key or not.
Anyone else notice how fast the Metallica channel is growing? Yesterday they had 9.97 million and overnight they gained another 10,000 subscribers.
Edit: THEY DID IT
I have, and they deserved it. They'll for sure get their 10 million soon
Who cares?!
@@8tonystark8me
@@8tonystark8 Obviously you do, you are watching a video on their channel.
definitely have noticed this. Even the last couple years im pretty sure its gone up like a couple million
James' vocals are on fire here. It's good that metallica doesn't forget about this song. Wish you 10 million subscribers As soon as possible 🔥
They did it! 🙌🏽 🥳
Metallica at its stripped-down, heavy-hitting, 21st century best. No frills, all gas. Love to see it mixed in the setlist!
That song has been in the list for the whole worlwired tour. Not a deep cut by any means
It always amazes me how James can play those riffs and singing at the same time
Man oh man was that stadium was shaking!!! Loudest show I have been to, Metallica was amazing!
You haven’t been to many loud shows then. This was normal
@@jd0879you just straight hating like a weirdo
@jd0879 I disagree. Way louder then when they played at Centre Bell in 09 and waayyy louder then when they played at Parc Jean Drapeau. Pantera was almost too loud.
@@Pablo-xf3ri Use your brain. You’re comparing Metallica to other Metallica shows. I’m comparing it to other concerts I’ve seen.
RHCP in Toronto last year were WAY louder (if you look at comments on their videos people were saying it was scary how loud it was). Nickelback in 2012 was extremely loud, Avenged Sevenfold in 2011 was very loud.
This concert was normal level. Btw 2014 Metallica at Heavy MTL was louder. Pantera wasn’t even loud they were just highly distorted (couldn’t hear Zakk)
@jd0879 you need your ears checked and head examined for seeing Nickleback and RHCP I just threw up in my mouth a little.
We made the trip from Tampa, Florida, up to Montreal these two shows...both nights were amazing. We had a great time in Montreal, beautiful city, friendly people, and great food !
Thank you for your good words! Comeback anytime!
I really love how great Metallica has been the past few years at giving some deeper cuts lots of love live. In 2021 they consistently played Holier Than Thou, Cyanide and Through The Never and the whole black album live. Last year we got Trapped Under Ice, Bleeding Me, Dirty Window, Metal Militia and Damage Inc. This year we're getting even more rare songs across both nights! King Nothing, Until It Sleeps, Leper Messiah, Orion, The Call Of Ktulu and now also Dirty Window and Hardwired. How cool is that?!
Experiencing this live and being there with close friends was a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Metallica and Montreal for a full weekend of music!!
Same drove 7 hours from Hamilton to see them and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
I missed it :( Couldn't afford it ☹ I did catch the last tour here on Ile Ste Helene. Saw them at the Big Owe when James got burned and Asshole Rose threw a hissy fit. First time was at the old Montreal Spectrum for Ride, then Verdun Auditorium for Master, Forum for Justice. Realllllly wanted to catch this one.
We came from just outside Toronto. Was an incredible weekend. The metallica tribute bands on the Saturday in between the shows was an awesome idea.
@@brandonabbott95I was gonna go from Oshawa but after seeing yhe ticket prices I skipped on it, not sure why they skipped over Toronto this time
@@aarongrimes6490monteralers know how to have fun. The city was wearing Metallica, fans there were so chill and fun to talk to. Even on Monday you would see hundreds of people in Metallica tshirts. It was more like Metallica festival weekend. Not sure how people in Toronto would celebrate Metallica. Best experience ever in Montreal.
I was here Loved this concert, i went from Yukon to Quebec to see these guys.
4:03 rob getting so into the end will never fail to make me smile
I was in the Snake Pit for this. My brother and I were thrilled they played Hardwired, the energy during this song was INCREDIBLE 🔥 I hope they keep mixing in some Hardwired tracks on the tour!
I just hope they'll keep mixing from any album at this point, because aside the 72 Seasons songs (which 8 out of 12 have been played live so far), there hasn't been much rotation so far.
The classics are always played (Master, Nothing Else, Sandman, Fade to Black, Sanatarium, Creeping Death, Harvester, Bells, Roam, Fuel, etc....), 6 72 Season songs are always locked in on each shows. It doesn't leaves much for other songs...
If they intend to present each time 4 videos with unique songs preformed in each location they really need to start rotating songs from each albums from Kill em All to Hardwired without forgetting the Garage Inc or they will have to repeat the same songs in the videos of the upcoming shows:
*They play 32 songs on each location (16 on day 1, 16 on day 2).
*Amsterdam was there first location on the tour, which means 32 of their songs made their tour debut over there.
*Since Amsterdam, only 11 songs have made its tour debut among the various different date (for a total of 43 songs taking part in the tour).
*With 24 videos published so far (Hardwire is #25), they've covered 6 tour locations (Amsterdam, Paris, Hamburg, Donnington, Gothenburg and East Rutherford)
they still have 3 other songs to publish in order to cover the Montreal exclusive live performance.
*Having then published 28 exclusive video, only 15 will be left for the upcoming shows since they haven't include any song as a tour debut since Montreal.
*With these 15 remaining songs, they can cover the Arlington, Los Angeles and Phoenix shows, but they will miss 1 in order to have 4 songs for the next show (Power Trip Festival).
*They still have 14 shows on the 72 Season tour to come, which means 56 songs to make their live debut (+1 they need for the Power Trip festival in order to reach 4 videos)
*So unless they start moving out of their comfort zone and play other stuffs than the songs they play all the time, those 72 Seasons tour video are just going to repeat themselves with just the same songs all the time...
@@MoreAwsomeMetal Did you really do all this research to post on a UA-cam comment section? Seems like a waste of time. Just enjoy the music.
@@georgen5882 Did that already, I was at their show in Paris and despite seeing them for the 8th time, I was blown away by their amazing performance.
I'm just checking every date they're doing and looking for all fans videos uploaded since them.
And since they have 16 show to come (Phoenix starting tomorrow) and they always publish 4 exclusive songs (in amazing quality) of their performance, I'm really concerned about these songs not being the same repeated over and over again: I want them to rotate as much as possible from now on: they have an incredible discography and they're just using a tiny bit of it with the same hits they've already played millions of time!
Underrated album
Let’s not forget Death Magnetic as well very underrated as well
like death magnetic and 72 seasons
Still the BEST shows ever! Since the 90s for me.
they’ve been killing it with these live performances! can’t wait to see them in Chicago🤘🏻
I'm waiting for the tour where they shower the crowd with cash just because no band has ever done that before and they got a bazillion dollars lmao.
What an amazing show for my first time
Montreal 🖤💙🤍 Thank you so much guys 🤘
This song gets better the older it gets. The transition from the intro tape to the live jam was seamless. Great mix on this, live and recording both.
МЕТАЛЛИКА ВЫ ЛУЧШИЕ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Поддерживаю 🤝💥🤘🤘🤘
Absolutely love this song. Has such a punk vibe to it with so much attitude. The lyrics ring true now just as much as they did when it came out in 2016.
I’m so happy I got to take my son to his favourite band . I still get the chills hearing it all my head
Father and son trip!!
Love to see this one being played. Always loved how to-the-point and punky it is.
WOw putting the Quebec flag on the screen and the beginning was an awesome touch. Bravo Metallica
Men they fucking rock still with 60 years that’s why we love them🤟
Hope you shake your covid and feel better soon, James!!!
I hope they play Dream no More as well, particulary if they come to Portugal 3h3h3h ;)
They won’t
Once again, thanks to everyone who’s behind the scenes to put out these videos of Metallica. Great work & Great sound.
Oh yeah Metallica let's get Hardwired! ☠️🎸
Love you guys❤❤❤❤
🤘
Honestly such a massive album. Very underrated
Why didn’t you show the massive mosh pit! This song hit and we went off!
Metallica благодарю за исполнение бодрого хеви-метала. удачи коллективу.
Best fucking show ever ! I was front row and both shows were amazing.
I like how Hetfield melodize his sing in some parts, makes sound better than in the record version. Badass live song 🤘
Definitely agree, vocals on the recorded version are a lot "straighter"
You know it's taken twenty years but Robert is finally loud and powerful in the live shows 🔊BASS 🔊
So glad they played this song again! Hardwired was the first song I heard Metallica play live a few years ago. I don’t remember much from that night but I remember getting my 13yr old ass rocked!
i love how the signature drum beat from hardwired fades in and then the song starts 🔥
🎸HOLY FUCK THAT WAS AMAZING!😳💯
Hardwired IS the best album since BA.
Proud to say I was here for this!! Please post more Montreal!! ❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘
Metallica are sounding really tight lately
Greatest show of my life!
I need to hear something fast and again and again and again and again
Sounds amazing, I hope they brings back more songs from that album.
Hardwired made it's tour debut in Montreal, but Moth Into flame has been played in each shows of the 72 Season tour so far.
Atlas, Rise! has a pretty descent chance to reach the set list at some point, but I hope some less known song of this album gets to have their chance either (Dream No More, Confusion, Halo on Fire, Here Comes Revenge...)
MoreAwsomeMetal I hope so , as the hardwired tour cut short they still have some unfinished business!!! I
@@scorpionking4012 Am I Savage? and Murder One?
For sure this is unfinished business!
And lets not forget the Deluxe Edition which has 1 exclusive song, and 3 cover songs, 2 of the last never been played live either (The Ronnie Rising Medley from Rainbow, and Remember Tomorrow from Iron Maiden, 2 killer songs Hetfield sings extraordinarily, I would kill to hear them perform the Remember Tomorrow!)
MoreAwesomeMetal That is a wishful thinking my friend we can only hope, I only think that “am I savage” might be the only one from that list unless we get some special shows.
@@scorpionking4012 Remember when Frayed Ends of Sanity, To live is To Die, Escape, and Fixxxer were also wishful thinking's? (and we're talking about songs that are part of their classic era).
HTSD is not even 10 years old! Any of the songs of this album still has the time to make it live someday!
It's nothing like all the forgotten songs that haven't been played in +10, +20 or even +30 years which represents like 1/3 of their songs and they completely left away (Remember Tomorrow which came out in 2008 is on of these forgotten gems btw)
Toma esse som! DESTRUIDOR!!!
Was up in the 200s for both shows in Montreal, absolutely amazing!!!!
I was there for both nights. What a fucking show!
Seeing you guys live at 12 was great I’m so happy to be listening to real music and not rap like most people. Incredible 2 nights. Me and my dad had the most fun at those concerts
This is so cool!! Hardwired material getting love
Thank you Guys for the Music so much !!! It Help me so much
*Gorgeous show of the splendidly make creativity band*
Metallica will always be the g.o.a.t
Of heavy metal I wish they'd comeback to London ontario...
Honestly one of my favorite Metallica songs. Creeping Death, Master, and Seek are probably my top 3, and seeing all 4 of these songs that night was insane! 2 "never gonna happen" bucket list bands in one night!
Hardwired and Moth Into Flame were the best songs on Hardwired album.
Sounds Awesome
It's amazing that Metallica have released 2 albums, celebrated both their 30th and 40th anniversaries, toured North America nine times, Europe also nine times, South America seven times, Asia three times, South Africa once, and even played a show in Antarctica, since the last time they had a headline show in Australia and New Zealand... and yet they left us off this tour, and that was after our last one was cancelled. We haven't had a headline tour in almost 13 years, and it's been nearly 4 years since our leg of the Hardwired tour was cancelled.
I don't know if the 'Tallica boys read these comments, but there are a lot of Aus/NZ fans who are very downcast and are giving up hope of ever seeing you guys Down Under again. It'd be really appreciated if you guys could throw some love our way sometime soon.
Fantastic band 🤘!
FUCK. YEA!!!!!!
i fuckin love this song so much
Ohhh I was there, that was amazing! two nights, no pull.
2018 hardwired tour was my first metallica show, great time
GODDAMN this was tight! The boys still got the chops. My favorite band for over thirty years. Always and forever.
🤘🏻😈🤘🏻
Hardwired to listen to live Metallica
Thank you for educating me in my teen years!!! ❤️🔥
We were there!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I'm glad I got to go to both nights. Truly the best birthday present I've had in a while.
The kings still rule the world!
I love you guys!! Thank you for the live performances that you upload for us!!!❤❤❤❤
Hardwired... To Self-Destruct is back babeeeeeeeeeee!

Они в великолепной форме!!👍
I’m 9 and love Metallica rock on🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
That pendant Rob is wearing was put on his neck by a fan the first or second song... he wore it the whole night. Was wicked being there
