@@artkrueger8312 Blind Guardian. They are a German power metal band that have been around since 1984 and have a new album coming out in September. They have 4 singles for that new album out now: Violent Shadows, Deliver Us From Evil, Secrets Of The American God's, Blood Of The Elves. A lot of their songs are based on J.R.R Tolkien's works, some on Stephen King's, a few biblical stories also, and one 14 minute song about the fall of Troy called: And Then There Was Silence. Their sound has changed a little bit with each album, but I like every single song. They started as a Speed metal band but slowly added more power metal sound to their style. The vocalist Hansi Kursch has a style of layering over his own vocals very much like Queen (I think, haven't listened to much Queen). They are tied with Seventh Wonder for my favorite band.
Lars shows here what a beast he is on drums. James and Lars sound scary good in parts. Their creative energy is palpable. Great work, guys. I don't mind waiting 8 years for stuff like this. Making great music is very important to their fans and they finally realized that.
they don't release albums every year because they have other commitments and are rich as fuck. also , the record industry sucks really bad now. I think its poetic justice for metallica to say fuck you to everyone who stole their songs, by only releasing an album every decade now. what is their motivation to do albums if you fuckers are gonna steal it and shit. ?!! as if artists don't deserve control over their music (which was the napster concern, and they were right. metallica saw that shit coming while everyone else was like" I don't have a problem" , yea right, when these stupid artists' album sales came screeching to a fucking halt, they cared then didn't they?? ) stupid fuckers.
Pretty much agree with everything you said. Hell, they could of threw in the towel ages ago. Due to today's luxury's of just a few clicks and getting an album that artists have put time and effort in just like that. I always buy hard copies of albums because i like to have something physical. Its like us going to work and not getting paid.....obviously we kick off. The internet and companies within it are destroying the music industry.
This is a good way of illustrating how important visualization of any design in art, music or literature is important, especially if it's a collaborative effort
Especially during the time when Cliff and Jason were still around and they recorded all albums together in the 80s and 90s and 2000s and 2010s and 2020s decade released the new album called 72 seasons and Robert is still there currently bassist.

Lars is a genius - his instincts and musical arrangement skills are off the charts
i believe his parents were musicians and also Cliff taught the guys about music comp/ theory up until he passed.
I love seeing Lars and James happy to be around each other. When Lars has his finger on James’ guitar and they are laughing and having fun, makes me love this band even more. 😜🤘🏼❤️🇺🇸
1:41 James fulfills terminally ill mans dying wish of touching his guitar. Circa 2015
Dude hilarious 🤣
I"ve read that comment about 2 hours ago & it still cracks me up everytime I think about it & picture Lars slightly mentally challenged grin. Comments like that deserve to be printed out & put on a big wall.
He gave you your wish and let you touch his junk sissy!

Hardwired is my life! I been listening to these guys since age of 5 willingly probably longer unwillingly and im 43 now.
6:43 it’s crazy that these two guys were just 18 year olds kids when they met, and created music that changed the world. Even today they’re still having fun playing music. Remarkable.
it's so nice to see that they're old and still going, after all those troubled times... 1:56 look at their face expressions... this is true friendship
I hope they're making another hard album right now.
The world has a shortage of heavy fast music.
No it doesn't lol. You're just not looking in the right places
@@tylerconley7739 Hook it up then, what's some of your favorite new songs or bands that are heavy?
@@artkrueger8312 Check out Domino by Hail The Sun. It’s progressive post-hardcore so it’s heavy in a different way.
Are you high? Yeah maybe a shortage of mainstream heavy fast music but look to the underground and you will find plenty.
Lars shows here what a beast he is on drums. James and Lars sound scary good in parts. Their creative energy is palpable. Great work, guys. I don't mind waiting 8 years for stuff like this. Making great music is very important to their fans and they finally realized that.
Lars was killing it!
they don't release albums every year because they have other commitments and are rich as fuck. also , the record industry sucks really bad now.
Alan Lloyd
Alan, I don't steal music from anyone, but most millennials do.
Raffie Quler beast?? His snare is off! He can't even get that in time. Listen to 4:20 where he lays into it. He can't even keep the snare in time.
James' laugh through the pickup: that is a golden moment right there. Definitely has to become a Metallica top 10 moment
0:29 James should've done the angel of death scream
no
Monarch to the kingdom of the dead!!!
5:06 watching James laugh into his guitar pickup made me laugh to hard.
hard laugh to self destruct
5:53-6:05 more yeahs in that one little bit than in the final cut of the album
This is a good way of illustrating how important visualization of any design in art, music or literature is important, especially if it's a collaborative effort
5:09 is rob playing longveiw?!?!?!?!?
Yes 🤣🤣
0:50 - 0:57 "I did my part, just duplicate that, i'm outta here"
WickedMetalFan 1:06 Lars looks like he is about to sock the guy talking over him.
WickedMetalFan 😂😂
you can hear james playing lux aeterna at 0:40, at least something that sounds close to it. crazy to see it here 6 years ago
They usually keep riffs from years ago. Lux aeternas main riff could’ve been from 5 years ago from all we know.
5:55 is that james's attempt at the death metal growl. It would be sick if he could do it
That would be sick ngl.
5:54 I wish he would do screams like that on the records more
I bet he was Warming up his Voice.
Especially during the time when Cliff and Jason were still around and they recorded all albums together in the 80s and 90s and 2000s and 2010s and 2020s decade released the new album called 72 seasons and Robert is still there currently bassist.
The fact I seen a 4 day old comment with like 50 likes shows how solid this this vid is over time
You know. For Lars to be in his mid 50s and still drumming like this for 3 hours at a time during concerts really shines a light on his actual skill. I don’t care what people say, he’s damn good
Agreed.
