    If your bread gets stale, refresh it by spraying a little water on it and stick on low temperature in the oven for about 10 minutes.

    • @JerseyBirdHS

      I think home milled would be great! I did include the ingredients in grams just in case freshly milled is fluffier than store bought. I freeze the bread whole in bread bags, we slice as needed, but I don’t see why you couldn’t freeze already sliced if that’s how you would prefer.

    That was a very detailed recipe and I thank you for it. I was always told that you have to have the water be room temperature or a little more and you didn’t mention anything about the temperature of the bread also, I don’t recall you telling how much oil to put in it I am 74 and I’m trying to learn to make bread but I definitely need all the details. You did a great job thank you I just would’ve liked to known those few things and also I always thought you were supposed to lightly brush butter on the top of the bread When it comes out. I would be afraid to make this because I don’t know if I’m supposed to heat my water and I wouldn’t want to go to all that work and not have it rise.

    • @JerseyBirdHS
      @JerseyBirdHS  7 місяців тому

      Thank you so much! Warm water will certainly help the dough rise faster, but is not necessary. Any temperature water will do. No butter necessary! The loaves are smooth and browned from how the dough is shaped before being placed in the loaf pans. I hope this helps and feel free to reach out with any other questions.
