If you have bread anxiety, I like I did when I first got married, you're in the right place! This video will show you how to make my favorite daily bread recipe.
Hello I’m new to your channel and I totally have bread anxiety as I can never get mine to turn out right. I read your recipe I’m just a tad confused. 😂 How long is the first rise?
Proverbs 31:15,17 “ She gets up while it Is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls. She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her to tasks.” After I make it today, I’ll leave a comment how it came out! Thank you for For sharing!
If you need a Mod (as long as a decent time in Cyprus!) Ava will tell you my time differences and validate me as a mod! (I do it for many channels including Daz who you know - I was his first subscriber after constant encouragement to get a channel!)
My dear sweet lady!! I made 3 loaves of this bread last night. I haven't attempted bread since I was a teenager. I'm giving a loaf away to an elderly cousin. My daughter says it's fabulous. I'm going to make monte cristo sandwiches tomorrow. Thank you for teaching me.
Thank you for telling me about the mixer not going past 2. I have never heard of that before but I’m so thankful! I’d hate to ruin my mixer, they’re so expensive! Thank you for these videos I truly enjoy them!
I’ve been struggling with bread making. I used this video and made some. Hubby loved it and ny dad said it tasted like my grams. Thank you!! I finally found a recipe that works for me!
Found you during your 2022 love to and won't can again. ❤ it btw. While you say it's going to take us weeks or months (?) of practice to get it right, I think if someone turns this video on every step of the way and does not try to 2nd guess you or shortcut you, we jump right over that time frame. I have the most beautiful dough for a Hubbard Squash bread rising. You are a patient and thorough teacher. I watched you and Kneady Homesteader several times each to get ready. Great tips.
I mix and knead my bread by hand. The older I get, the harder it gets to do. I just love the feel and smell of the dough. The first time I made yeast bread, the rolls were like rocks. I didn't think I would ever get it right, but i did.
Used my dough machine with this recipe and turned out the most beautiful tasty loaf of bread! Wish I had got a picture to post but as soon as it cooled we sliced it. Great sandwich bread and it makes awesome toast. Thank you so much for sharing!!
I’m 58 years old and have always wanted to make homemade bread but was scared to try. I’m southern and grew up making biscuits and cornbread but bread wasn’t taught to me. All the videos I’ve watched didn’t do a very good job of explaining the process but yours does! Thanks for taking the time to do this right so now I’m gonna try my hand at it!
Beautiful loaf of bread! My mom was a full time nurse and didn't get many days off..however one of my best memories was coming home from school and smelling a freshly made loaf of French bread! So good!
I have made this bread 3 times since first watching it a few weeks ago. I have made various breads but have never gotten the sandwich bread just right. This is a wonderful recipe and you are a joy to watch and listen to. I’ve stopped buying sandwich bread at store. Thank you for this and all of your videos from South Carolina!
For the first time today, I made bread that did not use milk or butter. It did not turn out good . I put too much flour in at once and it came out dense and the flavor was poor. Will try your recipe and see how it goes. I learned a lot of things from your video ! Thank you very much!!
I absolutely love baking my bread in my cast iron bread pan.....i also bake my buns in a cast iron pan too..... there's just something about baking it in cast iron that makes it taste so good.... i'm loving watching this video
I am so thankful for finding your channel. You have definitely helped me confidently start my bread making journey. Before I rolled/shaped, my dough, I sprinkled the rectangle with shredded cheese and jalapeño powder, which made a tasty jalapeño and cheese swirl!

I've made bread for over 20 years. The past couple years it just hasn't turned out as well. I was trying to figure out why. I used this method (as the ingredients and amounts were basically the same ) since it was so different. It turned out excellent! I've done it more than once and each time it's excellent. Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful video, thank you do much. I am going to try the recipe. We live in the beautiful Snowy Mountains of Australia. Today is a cold minus 2 degrees celsius, so I guess these winter days here might not be the best time to bake bread, but I am going to give it a go. This will be my first ever bread bake attempt and I am 75 years old! God bless you and yours. 💙🙏💙
