Hands down the best customer service ever, which is demonstrated by how useful and helpful these videos are. This is why I am a repeat customer! Can I get a copy of the script and wiring diagram, I will be doing my limit switches and touch plate this weekend!
Great video! I'm still learning and working on setting up my machine. How can I set a specific location for the machine to go to before it starts its script? Appreciate any advice, Thanks!
Thank you for your support. Are you using offsets? Here's my video discussing how to set them up.ua-cam.com/video/u8oFqMQit9E/v-deo.html This would allow you to do it after configuring an offset to set tool height, and then click on your auto tool zero button. Thank you, Vince
Hi Good Day, I have just finished watching your video, im new to cnc and mach 3 and learning how to use machine and software. id like to thank you for this informative video. from where i could download the script in the set up of auto tool z. God Bless
@@corvetteguy50 hi, if i will not be asking to much from you, my email address is 4f2cdd@gmail.com. i dont know where i will get your email address. i have click your username at it diverted to creating an outlook account which i dont know how to use it yet.
This is great info as I am experiencing touch plate issues. Whats happening is my z axis is going to the height I set before it goes down to the touchplate. The led lights up in diagnostics when I touch clip to touchplate but I notice the light flashing Intermittently when I clip onto my tool bit. Not sure what going on but I am very frustrated. Worked fine before I had to change out my drive. Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you Patrick for your support. I suggest testing the connection at the spindle's end for proper conduction. I apologize for being vague, but without seeing the system, or your setup I'm essentially a mechanic working on a car without it in front of me. I offer consultations using Team Viewer for diagnostics for issues like this. Thank you, Vince
Perro007, thank you for your support. The touch plate script only requires parameters for the Z axis as its the axis to control the tool height. Thank you, Vince
@@corvetteguy50 Yes, thank you very much for taking the time to reply. I gathered as much after digging around the Offsets page. I saw there are only means to set the thickness of a Z Gage Block Height (I thought it was spelled gauge!! :-) ). I guess setting up a touch prove for all 3 axis is something Mach3 can improve on. It is a very mature product so it doesn't bode well for it. I did have it with a Duet controller but the controller at the moment is only for open loop systems. There's a 'I'll Do It Myself' guy here in UA-cam that has a script which I'll try out once my system is up and running. I am a bit disappointed with Newfangled that they have effectively outsourced their support to us consumers, yet they charge the same for their product.
Thank you for your support. There are actually multiple methods based on preference. Typically the coordinates are added to the script. Thank you, Vince

Hi. This seems to be only for the Z axis. Is this correct? What about X and Y?
