I have Mach3 running under Windows XP for 5 years. It may be a dinosaur, but as a stand alone, dedicated system, it is still hard to beat. My axies according to Mach 3 have done over a thousand kilometers........ AND NEVER LOST A STEP. Beat that! :) Who needs smooth steppers and ethernet?
Warren, thank you for your support. XP started it all, and if used as a dedicated system it still works for many like yourself which is all that matters. :)
Thank you,
Vince
Thanks for the video.
I can not find the license.
Can you help me?
Thanks
If you purchased your license from me I can, and if you didn't I can't help. Thank you, Vince

can this work for me in Tunisia ?? i visit the website but i find just the demo version . thanks
Zidi, Thank you for your support. Yes this will work for your motion control software no matter where you are in the world. If you need a copy let me know as I'm a dealer. Thank you, and please be safe.

Thanks for the great video. However, I have a problem when I try to load mach3. When it loads up the screen is white. There is still the toolbar at the top of the window, but the rest Is white. I tried loading the 1204 screen, but nothing changes. Any ideas? Thanks.
William, thank you for your support. I recommend unistalling the software, reinstalling it. If the software came from a chinese machine there;s a 99% chance its pirated. Thank you, Vince
I followed your steps but I couldn't complete it on my own until I complete the installation and work on it Can you help me please

Hi Vince, Great video, good tip about the parallel port driver. I have just installed Mach3 on my windows 10 computer and am waiting for my UC 100 to arive. So I will uninstall and re-install and disable the driver. Just one question if I may. I have got mach3 to go full screen but my icons are masive. have I done something wrong? I have been into mach3 General Logic Config and all the boxes in Screen Control are checked. So I'm scratching my head a bit. I noticed your icons are normal size and the mach3 went full screen. I would be grateful for any advice you could give. Thanks, Terry.
Terry,
Thank you for your support. I would uninstall Mach after making a backup of your settings, and reinstall it again to see if that corrects the issue. Their are many variables that can cause issues with it from other programs, to hardware configurations. I would start with this first as its the fastest to do, and least intrusive.
Thank you,
Vince
Thank you for your swift reply. I will re-install mach3 again and see how it goes. Thanks, Terry.
@@Wrighty You Bet :) Thank you Vince
Hello, I am getting an RnR motion card error not found. Can you advise?
Rawan, thank you for your support. This is a controller card issue, an not a Mach3 issue. Please contact the units manufacturer. Thank you, and please be safe Vince
I bought a 6090 cnc from China. This will make the work? I have Windows 10 X64
Teo, thank you for your support. Unfortunately the copy of Mach3 that comes bundled with your system is pirated, so I suggest being careful using it as most copies don't function correctly. If you would like to purchase a genuine copy please message me. I don't know what controller they supplied you with your system but if the system is using a parallel port you'll require a UC-100 USB motion controller, or Warp9 ESS ethernet controller to make it compatible with Windows 10 64 bit. Thank you,
Vince
i hv windows 7 64bit it installs but cnc doesn't communicate
Stephen, thank you for your support. Please review the software's requirements here by scrolling to the bottom www.machsupport.com/software/mach3/ as Mach3 only supports 32 bit operating systems. Thank you, and have a great weekend! Vince
What's the best way to support computer...?
Your videos are awesome! Thank you for all the good info. Question: I'm using an ELO touchscreen that's locked to 800x600 resolution so I don't see the whole Mach3 screen. Is there an easy way to resize the Mach screens to fit on the smaller (locked resolution) screen?
Machine 27 thank you for your support. Unfortunately the only way to adjust the screen resolution would be by your PC, unless you redid the screen sets in Mach3. Thank you, and have a great weekend!
Vince
@@corvetteguy50 I figured it out! Go to the Config tab then select General Config. Look for block titled "Screen Control" put a check mark in Hi-Res Screens. That fixed the problem. Now I can see the full screen. Thanks for your help!

Hello Corvetteguy50
So I have a Mach3 on my computer that I work on but when I got this computer, Mach3 was already installed & the machine was all connected & ready to go (I didn't do any of the installations).
Now my friend just recently got a CNC table & I told I'd teach him how to use it but the one thing I never learned was how to get Mach3 to recognize the table/machine, I figured by just downloading Mach3 the machine would work but that is not the case.
Do I need this 'Mach1Lic.dat' file in order to start using the machine?
If not do you have a video that could direct how to do so?
Thanks!
Okay sir my working table for 4ft to 7ft how to set up for step in x.y.z
Hey Vince may I ask what part of the world do you reside in
Hey Mike, Thank you for your support. I reside in the USA in the state of Florida. Thank you,

I've understand that Mach3 won't work with Windows 7 pro 64 bit, but do have parallel port for
my printer. Do I need any hardware to run Mach3 software because of 64

Is there a way to update my computer without the .dat file? Or is that .dat saved on my current system
Hey Dan, thank you for your support. The file is saved on your original system if your already have Mach installed. Thank you,
Vince
Thank you sir.
You bet...:) Thank you again for your support. Vince

Thank you for your support. If you haven't got a retail license it will only run in Demo mode. If the version you have is from overseas its pirated, and you'll require a retail copy. Thank you,

Hi again my problem is the dll driver for the motion controller did not come with the board does anyone have a copy they could share Thanks Daryl
It's window 10, 64 bit support for software...?
Yes,if you use a UC-100 USB motion controller from CNCdrive, or a Warp9 Ethernet Smooth Stepper. Thank you,

8:00 for the license part
I've had mach3 for about 8 years computers old keeps crashing One update to a newer system what do you recommend I have the old Mach 3 with a Serial port thanks
Kevin,
You'll need a UC-100 USB controller to use Mach3 with a newer Windows computer running Windows 7-10.
This will allow you to convert the system to USB control, and get rid of the old parallel port DB25 cable.
Thank you,
Vince

my 6040 is usb .. computer 32 bit windows 7.. I cannot get mach 3 to launch at all.. I keep getting a pluggin defective message
I would uninstall it, and reinstall it. If the unit is USB you have to make sure you installed the required USB driver for your system. I suggest contacting the vendor as they should have it. Thank you,
Vince
thanks , I messaged them.. I went to china cnc and downloaded their usb driver, but who knows how many different 6040s are out there now.. SO im waiting for the seller to reply.. thanks.
so mach 3 is running , I got a reply from the Chinese seller " Oh we soo soo sorry , we no include driver for you order. We get order weekend , and we hurry to ship item. we send Monday , Ok my friend ? sincere, Phang " So , I need to find all 6040 drivers and download them all I guess.
Rob, this is a massive issue when ordering overseas. The sellers typically have no regard for your lost time. I hope the system runs great after the headache. If you Google for the drivers, if you haven't already you may find them. The only issue is there are so many vendors selling these types of systems now that even if you find one you don't know if it will be compatible with your system. Thank you Vince

Can i use windows 10??? They told me where i got it i couldn't!!?
KY, thank you for your support. You can use Windows 10 if your using a UC-100 USB motion controller, or Warp9 ethernet smooth stepper ethernet motion controller as both of these options don't require using Mach3's parallel port driver. Thank you,
