Hey, I had a quick question. I'm a bit confused on the DLC for DQ7. You said that the save files have all the DLC unlocked, and I read the readme which says that they have a lot of chests unlocked already and Kiefer grinded to level 50 and such. I was wanting to play Dragon Quest 7 blind for myself in the near future as I've never played it before, so I'm wondering, if I want to experience the game as blind and vanilla as possible, should I just play through 7 normally without the DLC, then once I beat the game I replace my save file with the premade DLC save files and resume the game from there? That's the feeling I'm getting from this, as I'd like to enjoy 7 the normal way (aka without a super strong Kiefer from the beginning of the game) before I dive into any of the DLC if that's the ideal way to experience it as the developers intended
Hey Sack. I'm still not done with my 5th and final one. I decided not to allow any DLC monster recruiting, since that's very tedious. So the tablets I've left in that file will be the last few tablets left to complete for their gear, to give people a sense of what it's like having a Super Kiefer experience. Plus a lot of extras to give options in the main game. Each SK has distinct groupings of different weapons, armours, etc. available from the main game as well. Plus different amounts of various Monster hearts, whether 5 or 3 of all the base tier, and different groupings and numbers of monster hearts for mid and upper tier, and I'll try to assure they all have the same number of Super Bumper Balls...or is it Bumper Bonus Balls. IT IS Bumper Bonus Ball. Oops. I'm going to make it 50 per. That should be solid. Plus I'll leave a certain number of seeds present beyond what the base game gives. Hello ! First, thanks for the video and for helping the community to conserve this precious DLC. Then, I have another way to get the DLC for both DQ that will help you preserve your original save file. For DQ8, you just have to extract your save with FBI, load it in your computer and use the dedicated save editor to give you the DLC items. This will add it to your inventory, so no need to use a cheat code that will replace all your existing items. Then for DQ7, you will need another 3DS with another game (yep...) with the save that have all the DLC tablets, then you'll be able to share it to your original game and save. You can do it with an installed version of the game so you don't have to buy another cartridge.

@@veghesther3204 No ones hacking just for the DLC. You hack it for a multitude of other reasons.
But for me the DLC for DQ7 is the only game I care about I just don't really own ANY OTHER 3DS games that actually HAVE DLC in it.
I get that people who've never hacked a system are afraid to do it, but the hacking guides are written in a way where the process step by step, and also have Q&A's regarding everything you need to know, it's easier than it sounds and doesn't ruin your system just adds a lot more options
Gee, good thing I already downloaded all the DLC back when I first bought the games in 2018. Now I dont have to hack my 3DS like some kind of hooligan.
The DQ VIII DLC were already unavailable back in 2018, so you couldn't have downloaded them.
@@slyrxccoon well I got the 7 stuff, at least
You should still hack it anyway.
It's not just start up and download the DQVII dlc, you need to beat the 70+ hours game before being able to download the story dlc.
@arc789 well either way, I still did it years ago when I first got the game.
That or delayed DQ7 remake and the DQ8 remaster till they fully completed with no dlc.
