Simulated chunks and rendered chunks are not the same. When I was a kid. I only ever played/had pocket edition on my ipod touch 4, it always ran smooth at 60FPS. Even though the iphone 5s was the newest iphone, the updates were the same on all devices and it always ran smooth which means that they purposely limited the game A TON to make sure it ran at 60FPS. Pocket edition had no redstone, no minecarts, only 4 mobs and 4 animals. No nether, no end. For a long time, no lava or water buckets. It had no villages or structures. The world size was extremely small, waaaay smaller than 3DS edition. There was no armor or hunger or sprinting, you could not switch between creative and survival. There were no potions. It was soooooo limited. Now I am an adult and a game developer as a hobby and I now understand that considering the ipod touch had a higher resolution screen than the 3Ds. They could have just made pocket edition the same as 3DS edition. I would rather take a lower framerate than a version of minecraft with nothing in it. I know see the reason they make mobile games so much more limited than what is possible is because they know that not everyone has the newest phones and they want to guarantee the game runs well on older devices. They optimize the game so that it runs just good enough on the oldest devices that are still relevant. While on console, everyone has the same console so they design the game to look as best as it can and have the best graphics as it can while staying just over 60FPS. This is also why PC games let you change the graphics because not every PC is the same. They probably assume that people playing games on mobile aren't smart enough to understand changing the graphics.
Ah the first version of Minecraft I ever owned was the 3DS version yes it’s laggy and stuck ten updates behind but it’s still an awesome game to play on the go

@@Syper7 the 3ds prob can't do minecraft because of framedrops to five fps. don't think it's worth playing at 2 fps
best and first video on 3ds mc just what i needed! thank you!!!
This is the worst video, not only has this guy clearly never held a 3Ds before, not knowing how to use the controls and accidentally turning it off. He clearly never played Minecraft before, not knowing simple common recipes or world generation.
Ah the first version of Minecraft I ever owned was the 3DS version yes it’s laggy and stuck ten updates behind but it’s still an awesome game to play on the go
I really regret playing this game because it corrupted my entire 3ds when it crashed
1:50 I recognized the MCSM music straight away lol. It's Action Suspense btw
Broo I was thinking about this version because I knew there was a version for the nintendo 3ds and this video was 2 weeks ago! Thats insane
I like how the 3ds has larger worlds than the Vita, with even updates past the oceanic update. BUT its still a less fun experience due to spawn rates, graphics, a god awful render distance, and poor stability. Its insanity and makes me wish 4j couldve supported the Vita version a little more.
this is why I didn't bother finishing minecraft on the 3ds
What an unoptimized game.
When you need to mention that the nether is the old version because there are people who were born after 2010.💀
Although i play the 3ds version alot and prefer it there was alot of stuff i didn't know and learned from your streams
Yo, you can get light ahaders on this version of minecraft surprisingly enough
1:44 Minecraft story mode music detected :D
(its realy quiet but if you listen hard enough with headphones on you can hear it)
the worst part is this version is stuck in 1.11
I just want to know why the workers at Nintendo thought when they put Minecraft on the 3ds like did they really think it would be good or something
you must be incredibly naive
As a monster hunter fan... the c-stick is life...
I remember when my mom got me this, but i couldn’t play it because my 2ds didn’t support it
This question has around the same value as "Can you beat roblox obbies on Xbox One?"
😭comparing minecraft to roblox is wild
@@mila-d5b In my opinion, missing the point of a comment is a little bit more wild than something he didn't even do.
i love the thumbnail and title combo yo
I honestly thought this game wouldn't even have an End
Bruh this is super niche, but seeing the Mario Texture back reminds me of the old beta days, specifically watching SSoH_PKC.
Has anyone ever taken the texture pack from this game and made it avalaible for java?
This seems like a cute one to just mess around on even if there's a lot of new txtures that wouldn't be changed
Minecraft 3ds was so fun for me as a kid
I feel like the touch screen would have been a better idea for camera than the nub
11:31 Skyward sword
How?
Minecraft: Apple TV Edition: what about me :(
😆
It is just a worse bedrock version.
@@MaoRatto true but it has some differences (by differences I mean bugs)
@@RetroGamingBoy I always just ignore bugrock edition as it's a case of a SLOPPY PORT of a mobile game dropped on consoles. No offense, but mobile ports always suck.
@@MaoRatto yeah but I said it as in he should take a look at it and maybe make a video because he always said Minecraft 3ds is forgotten but it’s less forgotten than vita or Apple TV Edition
i didnt even know the 3ds minecraft had the end!
lmaooa i just got a bunch of 3ds n modded, i just started playing mc on 3ds n this is the first like full vid on mc 3ds i feel like great vid!!!!
I beat the game on the 2DSXL so its definetely possible
I never had this version but I do have the modded PSVita version. Way too basic without it
Every thing is a set spawn btw
To this day i haven't played 3ds edition even when buying it for my 2ds
Ik Mario is more iconic but I always felt Zelda would be a more fitting theme but that's just me
