Just got mine wrapped in Xpel Ultimate. I've done it on two prior cars and it has saved them from a lot of potential damage. Took rocks to the front of my 2017 Camaro ZL1 from an idiot on a riding lawn mower and it healed within a few hours. My 2015 Corvette took a few rocks off the hood that left just a small dent in the carbon fiber but tore a few chunks out of the windshield (which wasn't covered). Even my wife's SUV still looks great after 6 1/2 years of having Xpel and a lot has improved since then.

That is the location I was thinking of going to as I have been there to ask questions in the past, but I thought in prior videos you went north of the city to get your Sunstoppers work. Good to see the Matthews area spot will work out as well. Appreciate the video and keep them coming.
EXPEL is by far the BEST PPF! I’ve had mine on my MS since late 2016, and let me tell ya, folks STILL think my car IS BRAND NEW!!! When my Y AND CyberTrk arrives-they both will get EXPEL!

It’s a good idea to do a full wrap. My M3 which I’m going to get rid of had very weak paint, touch it with a finger and it scratches, just with human skin.

Tesla had to replace the whole driver side door on my model 3 as on delivery i found a few scratches immediately and few days pass I found what seems to be warping spots they had 2 weeks to try and fix it, in the end they couldnt and had to replace the door now I had to wait a shipment from USA to Ireland... In the mean time they gave me a loaner of model S 85kw... Its been over a month now still no word 😅😅😅
Update: just got a call from tesla, they've told me to hangon to the loaner for a little while longer as the door they've ordered have no response so now I'm stuck 😭

I kinda like these videos as I'm wrapping my own model 3 and I fine it hard to wrap the rare trunk I keep getting bubbles as I squeegee, I've tried dry and wet applications I fine wet has more control but dry sticks better I'm still learning.... I've wasted a few trunk size materials already haha... Ill keep trying hehe

I was able to get an estimate to a local XPel place and it cost around 5k for a full body on the Model Y. I believe they also put a ceramic coating on top.

It looks amazing, thought :). I am worry the 21" might do as well potholes or dips on the streets. Also is it way more stiff on the ride comparing to your other tesla you hadve that's 20"? Do you recommend adding the 21" after owning it for months now?. And what are the disadvantage having it? Thanks for any advice in advance.
Mr. T the front windshield is illegal but I have all my cars windshield tinted with 80% police rarely enforce tint in Los Angeles. The side tint looks like a 20%.
I was hoping that someone was going to explain why Xpel is better than another brand (3M Scotchguard). Other products starting price seems to be 1/2 of what an Xpel dealer charge. Wondering why.

My friend Tracy wants hers in pink. At first I was thinking, "If I can ever afford to buy her a Tesla, I'll get it in black or white and she can spent her own money on a pink wrap." But then I thought, "Well hell, if I can imagine myself able to run around buying people Teslas, is it that much of a stretch to imagine that I can afford to get it wrapped as well?" So now I imagine Tracy's Model 3 in bright metallic pink, chrome delete, tinted windows, brake calipers in pink. Because why not? And a pair of pink rocket launchers to deal with that %&^(% who likes to roar up and down the street showing off his (**&%$ vroom-vroom.
YES!!!!!!!! Been washing mine exclusively via premium carswash in nice areas/neighborhoods since 2016. No issues what so ever; Also, remember EXPEL has a 10yr warranty on its product. That’s why they are so picky per their chosen distributor.

No towel down on dash for the interior window film!! Nah sorry that is not what a top notch shop does, and for the exterior xpel - quality shops will remove the fender fairing so you can take the film behind it and then you don’t see that transition, especially with the stealth wrap. No way this the best installer.

Some installers do the truck in 2 pieces due to the bends and the front bumper 2 or 3

Hey, Brian... how much, if any, do you think this will help with door dings?
It might help resist paint scratches from doors or other things but not dings as those are hits that bend the metal.
